I uh....I had Big Feelings again recently on the cancelation of Epic Mickey 3 so...I spitballed some ideas onto a doodle page to cope. I'm not sure I could explain these all without a 5 page essay

I know If Disney was involved in a EM 3 it wouldn’t happen but imagine oswald and Mickey end up meeting julius in somewhere separate but somehow connected to wasteland?

From what I know julius, at least his first films are probably public domain by now- imagine Oswald finds out about that?? Being the main films you see in the first game are public domain, or at least that version of him

Oswald finds out about public domain, and how people can continue his and Julius legacy when Disney left them in the dust (Disney uses Oswald for merch, as a cash grab, whoever’s making the big choices can’t seem his potential)

If it was fan made I wouldn’t be surprised if some embodiment of copyright/trademarks was involved. Disney really is desperately clinging to oswald despite treating him Badly for years

I'd imagine they could be, like. Genie-esque cuffs on their wrists that they can't always see or something? And Julius doesn't have a heart, so he can't go back to the toon world, but because he's not bound anymore he can just go anywhere else?

Their cuffs would probably fall off genie style when the claim expires too. Bro that's such an interesting idea 🤯

And during the game Oswald wants to figure out how to get his cuffs off so he can be free, but Mickey, still in the toon world, doesn't understand it because he's not self aware yet.

Whooaaaaa! Really?!

Does anyone want to talk about the possibility of a third game being made? Right now, since Warren Spector has a job that made it impossible for him to really focus on the game, there is still a possibility of this game happening. Sure Epic Mickey 2 is kind of a flop but I’m pretty sure Warren can update the story so 2 can be better than it is now.

NO CAUSE SERIOUSLY PLEASE PLEASE!!! They ended it on a cliffhanger and tbh the second game was a huge decline in quality from the first one which also had its fair share of issues. If they aren’t gonna give Oswald a show at least give him a decent completed trilogy >:\

(Also no hate to those who love the 2nd game it’s just my personal thought on it)

Next year, Mickey Mouse and (i think?) Oswald the Lucky Rabbit become public domain. Say the fanbase decides to do a massive project that they've wanted for years but Disney never granted. Which would you like to see the most?

This is just something I'm curious about. Personally I'd love to see all of them! GO CRAZY GO STUPID
