Accidents happen. 
That’s a fact of life. But the higher the stakes of the work environment, the more consequential even small accidents are. 
For example, in a bio-safety level four chamber, not checking PPE for any perforations? Can have fatal consequences. One scientist working on a particularly nasty strain of T-virus being careless, falling ill, and turning zombie, and suddenly the entire staff is compromised- and worse yet, causing a scene when some of the former ‘staff’ make it above ground and cause a panic. 
It’s all still collateral, in a business sense. People and structures were resources that could be replaced, but this sample that Ada was contracted to return?
One of a kind- so, she’d been told. 
A three-stage Tyrant. Modified from a Dr. Goldman’s work that was salvaged years ago by an opportunistic UBCS controller. That was her quarry. 
The task was simple. The company would do damage control on the surface, and unleash a critical spill to let her slip into the Tyrant Factory below the chemical plant that housed it. Retrieve the sample, and return it to the employer.

yeah, it's still annoying that the villain is the EPA is the villain in comparison to this Poor Put Upon Business Doing a Vital Service. it's also just. accurate to the american zeitgeist in 1984. it WAS reagan's america. time capsule or whatever
bill murray's character did still frustrate me, but like, less than he did when i was fifteen. i got a lot more nuance out of it this time. still an asshole! but i think the narrative's less on his side about the worst bits than i thought it was at fifteen
still deeply upsetting to watch them destroy that maid's cart and not help her with it. like. jeez. a funny image but it's hard to watch them just leave her with this mess they caused
the practical effects were great. i didn't give it enough credit on that front because i was just so upset about The Sexism Of It.
the pacing and plot were pretty solid. the gags that weren't sexist hit a lot better since i've got a better grasp of What to Expect in things like this nowadays too.
