OH THANK YOU !! and of course ! this is Ezra and they have ink manipulation magic ! i had some mutuals on twt with ocxcc and i wanted to join in (i too wanted to be cringe and free) so i made Ezra (to be with asta ofc) and i also had the idea of someone with ink magic and having the ability to put the ink on their skin so i thought it be perfect for them

heres more of their reference sheet that i might redo in future but for now this

they are apart of the eye of the midnight sun and work mostly with sally. ezra is not the biggest fan of people or anything in general but being able to do research on just about anything did peak their interest to join

i wanted to make basically a enemies to lovers with asta ahaha so ezra is not so good in the beginning (i also wanted to make a hater character with no traumatic backstory he just a hater) and because of astas influences does become a better person (more soft, tries to be nicer to people, actually smiles and a little more).

and because of their ink magic i thought theyd be perfect addition to the aqua deers because i think rill would absolutely love their magic (they dont join until after the spade arc. they weren’t too big on the magic knights but seeing how hard asta noelle and yuno work they were a little motivated to join )

a general time line of ezra: eotms -> devil banishers -> heart kingdom -> spade resistance -> aqua deers

i probably forgot some things and im still fleshing ezra out so if you have anymore questions feel free to ask away ! :))

im really intrigued about the clover star awards competition... is it like the wizard king stars? how do you get them? jhsadgvhkl

This was all thanks to @argent-aviis, who started all of this! She also gave me suggestions on what each squad would focus on or provide for this competition! I may have to change a few things in the past few modern au posts to fit into this developing idea!

The clover star awards competition is very similar to the wizard king stars! In this competition, each squad receives a star through their accomplishments or service to the community in their respected field. This competition is created for students of Clover academy to participate in as a requirement to graduate from the academy. Since the students in the academy are already accepted as the best of the best, it is up to the students to pick which program or business they’d like to participate in until graduation. Stars are given if the squad provided service to the community, gather a lot of funds from their work/events, showcases knowledge and skills developed within the squad, and/or did anything that would bring pride to the Clover academy name.

Each squad has their own program and/or business to offer.

Golden Dawns: Performing Arts Program

Lead by William Vengeance

Using the money gathered from their live performances to donate to charity.

Has a partnership with the Eye of the Midnight Sun (EOTMS) and performs for their charity events.

Has a history of placing 1st place in the clover star awards competition, having the best reputation out of all the squads.

Specializes in drama, music, and dance.

Black Bulls: Black Bull’s Cafe

Lead by Yami Sukehiro

Initially had the worst reputation out of all the squads and so students don’t pick this squad

Members are usually hand-picked by Yami due to this squad’s unpopularity

Claim to not specialize in anything particular

Silver Eagles: Business and Modeling Program

Lead by Nozel Silva

Has two programs to offer.

Has a Business Program to teach students the world of business and marketing and a Modeling Program where students are taught to be models.

Associated with Nozel’s modeling agency.

Has various internships that students can take advantage of.

Model students have the opportunity to appear in fashion shows or magazines.

Specialized in business, marketing, management, and modeling.

Crimson Lions: Fitness Center and Athletic Program

Lead by Fuegoleon Vermillion

Students can work at his fitness centers or get educated on body health or coaching.

Provides support towards Clover academy’s sport teams.

Specialized in sports, health, kinesiology, coaching, and exercise physiology.

Blue Rose: STEM Program

Lead by Charlotte Roselei

Highly encourages female students to participate in this program

Has the largest female student body count out of all the programs.

Associated with girl scouts youth organization

Has various internships that students can take advantage of.

Specialized in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Coral Peacock: Fashion Program

Lead by Dorothy Unsworth

A program to teach students about design, fashion history and creating outfits.

Young fashion designers can participate in runway projects and showcase their work.

Has various internships that students can take advantage of.

Specializes in design and fashion.

Purple Orcas: Economic Program

Previously lead by Gueldre Poizot, but currently lead by Kaiser Granvorka

A program to teach students all things related to economics and how society works.

When Gueldre led this squad, students were used to help support his corrupted economic firm until he finally got caught.

Kaiser was placed as the new leader in hopes of helping students who were interested in this field to get the education and support they need to get ahead.

Specializes in economics, accounting, finance, data and investment analyst.

Green Mantis: Mantis Food Truck and Community Service

Lead by Jack Ripper

Students are made to work at food trucks or go do various small tasks such cutting grass, pest control, errands, cleaning buildings, picking up trash, and etc.

Focuses a lot on community service and volunteering.

Rivals against Black Bull’s cafe.

The second least chosen squad at Clover academy.

Specializes in community service and culinary.

Azure Deers: Art Program

Lead by Rill Boismortier

This program teaches students various mediums of art.

Student’s final projects are presented at Rill’s Art Museum of Youths where students can show off their creations to the public.

Art that is displayed at the museum can be donated to charity.

Has connections with various art and animation studios.

Specializes in art, design, and animation.

This is still a rough idea, but this is what we had so far! For the past few characters that I’ve done for this modern AU, I’ll have to slightly change their background information to align with this new addition to the AU!

Two captains(the violet orca guy and William) betraying the kingdom has got to be a big blow. How will they even replace the Magic Knight that was right under Julius? They can't use the vice captain because Langris is... Langris. Even if they find a replacement, it won't be the same among the captains.

Massive blow. 

William especially being a huge loss due to his position. Geuldre was scum, he deserved what he got and him betraying the Kingdom wasn’t the only thing wrong about him. They are really better off without him.

Langris would of course not be made captain - he’s insane and has some sort of link to EOTMS. I imagine based off William’s betrayal all of Golden Dawn may be investigated. It’s a new order too - 6 years old at most (if Rill was made captain at the age of 19 and not younger) and considering who was their one and only captain; I do look forward to seeing what’ll happen. Maybe a new character will come in and be made captain; but I agree - it just wouldn’t be the same. Three captains from the start have now been removed for some kind of reason. 

This brings me to the loss of Fuegoleon; of course - while he is not dead, he may not return to the knights for a while if he wakes up (which could be soon cause there is no real reason for him to continue being in a coma anymore) but he may have also been a top candidate as a future Magic Emperor; given what we know.

The Eye of the Midnight Sun has truly done damage to the Clover Kingdom’s Magic Knights. I do wonder what more they could do before they’re taken down for good.
