Tell me about his ikran, please! Personality, color, etc!
OVERVIEW.
Skorakstxey's ikran, Zize', meaning hellfire wasp in Na’vi, is a creature of fiery temperament and indomitable spirit. As her name suggests, Zize' embodies ferocity and intensity of a hellfire wasp, with vibrant hues of red crimson and gold adorning her sleek, muscular frame.
Despite her fierce exterior, Zize' possesses a deep loyalty and affection for Skorakstxey, viewing him not only as her rider but also as a trusted companion and protector. She is overtly protective of him, displaying an immense determination to defend him against any threat that may arise. With a keen intelligence and a strong sense of intuition, Zize' is able to anticipate Skorakstxey's every move, forming a powerful bond of trust and understanding between rider and ikran.
Zize' is known for her bold and adventurous spirit, always eager to take to the skies and explore the vast landscapes of Pandora. Whether soaring above towering Hometrees or diving into the lush jungles below, Zize' exudes an undeniable sense of exhilaration and freedom, her wings beating with a rhythmic pulse that echoes the heartbeat of Eywa’eveng itself.
In moments of quiet, Zize' displays a surprising gentleness and sensitivity, nuzzling affectionately against Skorakstxey's side and emitting a low, comforting rumble. Despite her fearsome reputation, Zize' possesses a heart of gold, forging a bond with Skorakstxey that transcends words and binds them together as one.
IKNIMAYA.
The Tawkami iknimaya is a sacred and deeply spiritual rite of passage on Pandora. For Skorakstxey, undergoing this ritual with his ikran, Zize', was a journey fraught with challenge and peril.
From the moment they first met, Zize' made it abundantly clear that she was not one to be tamed easily. Undeterred by Zize's initial resistance, Skorakstxey persisted in his efforts to forge a bond with her, recognizing the potential for a powerful bond between them. With patience, he sought to earn her trust, speaking to her in soothing tones. Yet Zize' remained stubborn and defiant, refusing to yield to his advances. As Skorakstxey approached her with outstretched hands, hoping to establish a connection, Zize' reacted with hostility, lashing out with razor-sharp talons and snapping jaws.
Caught off guard by her sudden attack, Skorakstxey fought desperately to defend himself, narrowly evading her lethal strikes. In the chaos of the moment, he could feel the searing pain of her claws tearing through his flesh, threatening to incapacitate him completely. Yet even in the face of such danger, Skorakstxey refused to abandon hope, clinging to the belief that their bond was still possible.
With a final surge of strength, Skorakstxey reached out to Zize' with a hand stained crimson with blood, his eyes locking with hers in a silent plea for understanding. And in that moment, something shifted within Zize', a glimmer of recognition and acceptance flickering behind her gaze. With a hesitant trill, she lowered her head in submission, allowing Skorakstxey to approach her without fear, then making tsaheylu.

Experimental Weapon Prototype Mechanic (Mechanic Alternate Class Feature)
(art by Nano-Core on DeviantArt)
And so we reach the end of the mechanic alternate class features with “experimental” in the name (though there is one other), and we end off with the sister option to armor: I present to you experimental weapons!
We’ve all wanted a cool sci-fi weapon at some point, a real big gun or laser sword or something similar, and with this option, not only do you have one, but it is uniquely your own, something you custom build to be better than any other weapon of it’s class.
Much like the armor prototype and even the experimental vehicle, this option let’s the character improve one or several different designs for advanced technological weapons. Some may have additional doodads bolted on which grant additional abilities, while others may simply allow the preexisting technology to be used in a new or novel way. There is no flat upgrade to damage though. For that you have to rebuild your experimental weapon with a newly acquired weapon as the base.
In any case, we’ll soon see exactly what these weapons and their wielders are capable of.
Like other experimental prototypes, this weapon has so many quirks and extra bits that it’s impossible for anyone else to use. It also takes the form of an advance melee weapon, heavy weapon, or longarm, one such category the mechanic learns to use effectively.
By tuning the weapons output to the form of an enemy, adjusting one’s aim to target weak spots, or other esoteric methods, these engineers can calibrate their weapons to be effective against a single foe of their choice.
If their weapon uses battery power or ammunition, they master how to fit more inside it, cycling out old batteries, storing extra ammo in a way to offset the weight, and so on, effectively doubling their capacity.
With special armatures, stripping down unnecessary weights, and the odd anti-grav generator, these mechanics can effectively wield their weapons with one hand, no matter how big they normally are.
Where things really get interesting is when they get to add special qualities to their weapons, which can range from an easy-access magazine for faster reloading, a longer handle to let a weapon be used to block, and so on. Obviously some modifications wouldn’t make sense, so keep that in mind.
Later on, they can apply two of these modifications, which expands to include projected force integrated into the weapon. Or they can choose to replace one with an extra critical effect, which has an ample list that expands later on. Unlike other abilities that add a second critical effect, however, you get both critical effects at once, rather than picking one each time you crit with the weapon. At the zenith of their ability they can change these modifications on the fly, though they must still pick one basic one.
Speaking of on the fly changes, these mechanics also integrate four weapon fusion circuits into the weapon which can be switched between fairly quickly, letting them change their weapon further with technomagic to suit the situation.
They also integrate tech to switch between damage types, essentially transforming the weapon into a modal one, or adding a third damage type to an already modal weapon. They can even have both active at once.
The most powerful of these mechanics can improve the calibration circuits to save the data from multiple foes at once, reactively switching between settings as they swing at that foe. Of course, one must take the time to set up the targeting data one at a time, but this can make them quite effective against multiple foes at once.
This option promises not only some increased damage, but also a lot of versatility, not just due to the bonus abilities you can grant, but also in you initial weapon category choice. Perhaps you want a plasma sword with multiple blades that can block strikes, catch and disarm other weapons, and more, or maybe you want a heavy laser cannon that can unleash every element under the sun? The sheer number of options is truly staggering, so if this appeals to you, by all means give it a try!
While many characters may name their weapons or show some level of affection towards them, to these mechanics, their weapon truly is their baby, their brainchild. Now obviously they don’t all express animistic feelings towards their weapons, it can be an interesting quirk of the character. It can also be fun to keep track of the various marks and models of weapons (or armor, or vehicle) that experimental mechanics create and tinker with.
Since ancient times, the yithians were a mighty advanced people, capable of not just sending their minds out across time and space, but also developing advanced weapons with which to fight truly alien horrors. However, some young yithians feel that their technology has stagnated in the modern era, and seek to improve further to protect their strange people from any and all threats, even improving upon their storm coil weapons.
Despite their clear superiority to similar weapons, the prototypes of many experimental engineers never see the light of an assembly line, being too complicated and gimmicky for the average consumer to use. However, clearly some such designs survive critique in some form or another. They say that petrol converters were one such weapon, able to convert their pyrophoric fuel into acid on the fly to burn foes in another way.
Piboqa the entu symbiote has always been fascinated by the way living weapons form a sort of symbiosis with their wielders, particularly those with natural telepathy. As such, they have begun cultivating a neural lash, utilizing genetic modifications of their own design to try and improve upon the creature. Where exactly this leads, Piboqa has no idea, but they are eager to see it through.

'The Love Shack' Epilogue - Silwey's Reaction
Relationship: Neteyam(23) x fem!Omatikaya reader(21) Series warnings: 18+ MDNI Word count: 1,563
Read the entire completed series in my masterlist HERE
Author's Note: Because so many of you asked - here is a little epilogue drabble with Silwey's reaction to the news of Neteyam & Neyomi's betrothal. 😁 It's short and simple entertainment with a little bit of fluff at the end. I hope ya'll find this satisfying, enjoy!
***~~~***
Neteyam watched as the last of the wagons, laden with their kills, was carted off to the clan’s cooks and butchers. The hunters had triumphed again today and the butchers would be kept busy for the next day skinning, carving and preserving the meat from their very successful hunt. As with most jobs that his hunter-warrior profession demanded, success often brought with it tired and aching muscles at the day’s end, as well as skin caked in the natural grime of sweat and dirt.
Rolling his neck and stretching it from side to side, he heard the vertebrae in his neck give a few satisfying pops. His skin felt clammy and itchy from the drying mud in places and he couldn’t wait to settle into the hot spring with you later for some rest and relaxation. He caught sight of you warming down with your hunting platoon off to his left in the near distance. Your stance was confident and you effortlessly commanded the attention of your platoon while you debriefed them for the day. He smiled to himself. You were so beautiful and so capable. It made him proud to have you at his side.
As your commanding officer, he outranked you and you reported to him in all things work during the day, but at night, he was completely at your mercy. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to have your body against his, over him, under him and around him. It had been a blissful week since the night you’d confronted each other and admitted your faults, since you’d made love to each other and pledged yourselves as each other’s intendeds. The news was still formally under wraps, but the tsahìk would be making a formal announcement and performing a blessing on you both on the clan’s next day of rest, which was in two days.
Betrothal aside, you’d both agreed that things would not change work-wise. There would be no biases and there would be no public displays of affection; work was work. Given the good amount of ‘practise’ you’d both had in the last three moons in the lead up to the present, pretending there was nothing going on and ignoring the personal turmoil you’d both been stubbornly suffering, keeping things professional was a piece of cake.
A few of the men from Neteyam’s platoon yauped in farewell, waving at him as they departed for the day. One of them, Entu, called out as they passed, “It’s good to have you back, bro! The olo’eyktan really made us work for our meals the other day!”
Neteyam’s deep laugh rang out and he fixed the young warrior with a mocking grin, “Are you saying I’m too soft on all of you?”
“No, but you’re more reasonable. At least I can still feel my legs today!”
“Good work today, boys! Kìyevame (see you again soon)!” Neteyam called in return, stooping to scoop his woven satchel from the foot of the rock he’d left it against. He slung the satchel across his shoulders and spied a pair of slender feet and legs approaching him in his peripheral vision. They strolled into view as he straightened up and he was greeted by a lovely face, just not the one he expected.
“I’m glad you’re back too.” Silwey’s voice was sweet as it usually was when she wanted to endear herself to him. She flashed him an alluring smile and cocked her head to the side, peering up at him through playful eyes.
“Why? Your legs less sore today too, are they?” Neteyam remarked, adjusting the strap of his satchel across his front.
Silwey’s chuckle bubbled melodiously up her throat and her expression turned frisky, “Not sore, no. My legs are good today, good enough that they’d be keen to take a ride later if you catch my meaning.”
Oh, her meaning was clear.
The insinuation of the sensual ride she had in mind was made even more unambiguous when she reached out with a bold hand to curl her fingers into the top edge of his cummerbund to pull him closer.
Neteyam stopped her with a gentle hand around her wrist, “Look, this needs to stop-”
“I was disappointed when you didn’t come back to me the other night after your family emergency.” Silwey interrupted, stepping up to him and eyeing him coquettishly, “And then when you didn’t show up for patrol the next day, I was worried.”
“Worried for my wellbeing?” Neteyam pursed his lips, his patience beginning to wear thin as Silwey ran her other hand up the smooth muscle of one his pectorals despite his earlier attempt at a rebuff.
“Mm yes, and also worried that I wouldn’t get another taste of you.” Silwey said in a sultry purr and she swiped a daring finger against his chest before lifting it to her mouth to suck it clean.
Neteyam grasped both of her hands and removed them from his person, not unkindly but firmly enough to get his point across, “Please stop. Look, you’re a beautiful woman and I enjoyed your company, but I’m spoken for now and this behaviour needs to stop. Anything more after this and you’ll be breaking the bounds of propriety.”
Silwey retreated in surprise, pulling her hands from his hold, “Spoken for? You’re betrothed?”
“Yes.”
She gave a caustic laugh then, still reeling from her shock, “That’s a surprise, considering you were perfectly willing just last week to spend your time in my company before your brother abruptly called you away.”
Neteyam scratched the back of his head uncomfortably, trying to find a way to explain the situation without too much detail, “It’s a fairly recent development, but entirely genuine. The tsahìk will make an announcement in two days. I’d appreciate your confidentiality around the matter in the meantime.”
“Oh now Neteyam, you can’t just leave it at that.” Silwey wheedled, her irritation bleeding into her tone despite her attempt to come off as casual, “Who is this lucky woman?”
Before Neteyam could respond with another dismissive excuse, the sound of a gently cleared throat came from behind him and he turned his head to find you standing there. Meeting your eyes, he grinned warmly at you. Speak of the devil.
“Sorry Neteyam, a word?” You interposed, shooting a half-hearted smile of apology at the other woman.
Silwey was less than welcoming of your interjection. Her plump lips tightened sternly and she huffed at you, “You know, these interruptions of yours are becoming a rather untimely habit. I was having an important discussion with Neteyam.”
In truth you’d overheard the bit of their conversation prior to your interruption, but you feigned innocence nonetheless, “Oh, sorry. Was it about today’s hunt?”
Silwey’s initial expression was one of annoyance that you were nosy enough to pry, but then her countenance turned cunning and she graced Neteyam with a sly look before declaring, “No, actually. Neteyam has just shared with me his happy news of being recently betrothed. He was just about to tell me who she is.” She sneered at him, clearly thinking she was being clever for having outed his secret, “Come on, tell us. I’m sure Neyomi would like to know too.”
Ordinarily, Neteyam would have growled out a warning at Silwey’s nerve, but he simply smirked at her today.
Reaching out to lace the fingers of one of his hands with yours, Neteyam pulled you to his side and planted a lingering kiss to your temple, before responding to Silwey, “Well, since you asked, you’re looking at her.”
Silwey’s eyes darted between Neteyam and you, her large golden eyes widening a fraction as realisation set in. Her mouth popped open next and she sucked in a stunned breath, sputtering, “O-Oh! Ah, congratulations t-to you b-both. Have a good evening, I’ll see you around.”
You had to press your lips together hard to keep yourself from laughing. Silwey’s retreat was clumsy and her embarrassment was apparent. It was the most inelegant you’d ever seen her, considering she was normally incredibly self-assured.
“Guess our secret’s out.” You remarked to Neteyam, “You know, she’s not going to keep it to herself.”
“I don’t think there’s any point.” Neteyam observed.
Silwey had withdrawn hastily to a small group of warrior women who appeared to have been watching on with equally wide eyes at the entire exchange. They were muttering amongst themselves now, Silwey in the middle, with raised eyebrows and gesturing hands.
“Shall we give them a bit of a show?” You suggested puckishly, looking up at Neteyam who was already leaning down towards you.
“First, you make me commit sacrilege under my parents’ roof and now you’re breaking clan protocol before the tsahìk’s announcement.” Neteyam’s warm lips moulded to yours and you instinctively looped an arm about his neck to draw yourself closure. His tongue swept against yours and you opened your mouth to allow him to deepen the kiss, completely uncaring of your public audience. He separated from you with a sucking pop, “I wonder if my family realises how much of a rule-breaker you are.”
“Your mother broke all the rules. She became a warrior, abandoned her duty to be tsahìk and mated your father.”
Neteyam chortled at your quick quip, his quiet laughter rumbling against your lips, “And it appears I am my father’s son, with the same taste for rule-breaking warrior women.”

The Lost Clan - Series Masterlist
Now Playing: The People's Cry
Avatar Masterlist || Main Masterlist || Navigation
Paring: Neteyam x Fem!Sarentu reader
Synopsis: the sarentu. nomads. known for their story tellings yet they normally stay on the western frontier, until they travel to the other side of the frontier. being the future tsahik of your nomadic clan, that is until disaster stikes and your clan goes off the maps and are said to be extinct, but what happens when you see a boy from your past years later when your clan comes out of hiding.
Content: some angst, fluff, cussing
Notes:i thought of this idea and hadda get it out and now ima make it a series. if you’ve played the game avatar frontiers of pandora yk what yn should look like to you, and if not that’s okay you don’t need to play the game to read this yn is just based off you character (the main character) in the game. the timeline is different so the war happens when the silly kids are younger, and the sarentu clan is alive
extra notes: entu is the main characters direct descent, meaning most likely a grandfather and he’s from the omatikaya clan but left and founded the sarentu clan, so short wise it’s unspoken rule that the sarentu always can seek refuge with the clan (in this story at least). for people that haven’t played the game Kataru is the readers mother, Aha’ri is the readers older sister, and Umìi (i made this man up yall) is the readers father.

The final Okoki word for this year’s Lexember is “ẽtu” (“to gather, to collect”), from *insu. This form is affected by three sound changes: high vowels lower before a nasal coda (*insu > *ensu), fricatives fortify to stops after a nasal (*ensu > *entu), and nasal codas drop out, leaving behind a nasal vowel (*entu > ẽtu).
“Ko odapo’ina ẽtudonu.” (“The squirrel gathered treasures.”)
Happy end of Lexember and New Year’s Eve!

“… The first time you look upon Pandora is like the first time I looked upon the sea. I saw a vast single thing - never still, always moving. But you can ride it to faraway places, or you can drown within it …”
Entu was a Na'vi of the Omatikaya clan who lived thousands of years prior to the humans' arrival on Pandora. At the age of 15, he ventured into the Hallelujah Mountains in order to tame a Great Leonopteryx, along with Ralu and Tsyal. He became the first Toruk Makto and was also the founder of the Sarentu clan.

Na'vi names
Hello! I had one bad time looking for names for my na’vi oc, so I compiled names and words to make it easier for other people to find some. This post consists of three sections, names in characters from the movies, games, and comics/graphic novels, words I think could do well as names by vibe (and their proper meanings), and words I smushed together to make new names. I do not speak/learn the na’vi language, so everything here is subject to error. In case you speak/study it, and see a mistake in grammar, please do let me know, especially on the last section. I tried, with limited knowledge, to keep things gramatically correct, and constructive criticism is appreciated. All words used on the last two sections come from the learnnavi.org dictionary.
As always, feel free to use this post as reference, but don’t repost it.
Proper names in characters/sources
These names are compiled from characters shown on the movies, games, and comics/graphic novels. They were divided by clan, and have markers for which gender the person bearing it is identified as. Some names did not comply with the na’vi language sounds, so I adapted them, and the original form is in parenthesis on the side. I encourage people to just give names regardless of gender because it’s fun. A side note, though, is that some clans, like the li’ona and the ni’awve, have been uncanonized. They’re still here, though, because I say so.
