Can I ask Entrapta and Hordak for the character ask meme?
First impression: with Entrapta, she caught my eye even before the show premiered, when I saw the promo art. I fell in love with her design right away, though i didn't care much for her character at first, just didn't get the hype. It is only after she showed her vulnerable side, when she thought her friends abandoned her (but we knew it was not true!), thats when I got invested. Tuned in for the drama, stayed for the purble mad scientist
Tumblr media
Same with Hordak. Didn't care for the character, loved the design. And I loved it specifically because he looked similar to the demon characters from my original story I was working on with a friend at the time. The long pointy ears, the nose, the glowing eyes, the clawed hands and sharp teeth, they also have wings just like Imp!
Oh and I always loved his relationship with Imp, it was so fun to watch these two interact :3
Tumblr media
Impression now: to me personally Entrapta and Hordak are the real heart of the show. They are both integral to the story, they're interesting and fun in their own ways and their relationship is simply the best thing the show has to offer. Plus their personal journeys are so exquisitly tragic, love me some good angst
They're both my lil scrunklies, my beloved chew toys, one of my fave evil power couples. Though I gravitate more towards Hordak, he got that melancholic sad doe eyes rizz. And older brother issues (hes just like me fr🤝)
Favorite moment: oof but there are so many. 'Imperfection is beautiful' and 'I am Hordak' are obviously in my top 5, but I also want to mention some other ones
From entrapdak scenes - the one where they chat while sitting on Hordak's throne, the one where Hordak protects Entrapta from the portal explosion and the iconic "What have you done to me?" scene
As for their personal moments, I still giggle at Entrapta's "Do I need to explain math to you?🤨", also I can't get over her soft hum and lil smile when she remembers her lab partner in the portal reality
And with Hordak, again, love all the scenes where he's so casually adorable with Imp, also s4 moments when he's being obsessed with Entrapta (can't deside between the blushing scene and the 'crying over her' scene)
Idea for a story: For Entrapta I've been thinking about an au where she gets consumed by the Island before her friends find her, turning into this scary powerful monster who still has some of her free will. And she either escapes the island herself, becoming a threat to both the Horde and the rebellion (but eventually she and Hordak save each other with the power of love~), or she stays on BI and has this emotional fight with Adora and Bow where she gets to voice all her fears and grievances, but in the end gets defeated and comforted
For Hordak I have this idea about him meeting another clone with the same defect as him. Maybe he was just fresh out of a pod, and his condition only took a toll on him after the fall of Prime. I imagine Hordak being so gentle and protective of him, giving him all the love and understanding + recourses he was deprived of. I also imagine him finally not feeling so alinated when he's around his own kind, like a black sheep among his "perfect" able bodied brothers, because now he knows he's not the only one
Unpopular opinion: Entrapta's trauma should've been treated more seriously and not forgotten right after the Beast Island episode. S5 felt like s4 events were erased from everyone's memory. Also, it should've affected Entrapta more. Again, where are the conflicted feelings towards Hordak? It was never established that she found out the truth about her exile, that Hordak was lied to and had no idea about it. And where are the conflicted feelings towards Catra? The more I think about it, the more I hate that dumb apology and the fact that it was enough for Entrapta to forgive her, after everything Catra did to her and her loved ones
With Hordak... those are not quite common, but it is still tiring to see some fandom opinions where ppl critique this version of Hordak by calling him a loser and a lame villain/character, because he's not "badass" and "threatening" enough and is bad at his job as the leader of the Horde. Cause like... that's the point. Hordak was bad at this because he was not suited for this role, he is not a leader and thats not bad/contradicting writing, thats just his character trait. He was only trying to mimic the only role model he ever had in his life, trying to fit into Prime's shoes and obviously failing at it, because he's not Prime. He was also programmed to be an obedient slave with no wants or ambitions, not a dominant power hungry ruler, and I can only imagine what it took him to become as powerful and threatening as he is in the show. He did not belong on that throne, not because he's incompetent/useless or stupid or a bad warlord, but because choosing to become Lord Hordak, choosing to go all this way to try and prove himself worthy to his uncaring god was,on itself, his biggest mistake, not the right path for him. The Etherian Horde is like that because it's existence was a mistake
Favorite relationship: romantic? with each other. Platonic? Also with each other, but also -
For Entrapta - her friendship with Adora and Wrongie (also Scorpia, but only pre s5 Scorpia, like girl what happened...)
For Hordak - his bond with Imp and his relationship with Horde Prime (i just love how tragic and messed up it is okay?)
Favorite headcanon: idk if a have a favorite, there are all sorts of hcs, so i'll just focus on a random one I like
I do find the idea of Hordak being creeped out and lowkey haunted by Entrapta's cat painting hilarious, but I also like to think that the cat was her real pet, maybe a childhood pet even, and by keeping the painting she honors the memory of her old friend

For the EPM ask game, I’m very interested in 1 and 5. When did you fall in love with the ship, and what’s your favorite portrayal of Entrapta, Hordak, and them together?
Thank you so much for asking!
When I finished the show, Entrapdak was the part that stuck with me the most. When I looked at the fan art for their ship, I saw the "And they were Lab Partners" joke and couldn't stop laughing. So I blame that vine reference for where I am today.
5. My favorite portrayal of Entrapta is basically her canon self, but she takes no one's crap and has better boundaries. She is also a very good friend, but the Alliance never bothered to get to know her enough.
With Hordak he is much like his canon self, but with more self-respect. Definitely, the straight man to all the chaos around him, rolling his eyes at his friends' and acquaintances' antics before stepping in to help. I also firmly believe he is skilled at hand-to-hand combat and war, and the reason the war was suffering in the show is because he stepped away and trusted his lackeys to deal with it.
As a couple, they are definitely Morticia and Gomez Addams in the sense they are deeply in love and are in sync with each other. Also, in terms of intelligence, they are very close in intelligence levels. It mostly depends on what the subject is. For instance, Entrapta is better at the engineering part while Hordak is better at mathematics and chemistry.
Thanks again for asking! Also, I love your fics for EPM!

Entrapdak Positivity Month - Download
Entrapta was both super excited as the test code ran and gave zero errors.  It had taken months of work but she was finally on the cusp of having universal translator.
Sure others had been made before but they were clunky and unwealdy. This one was super comfortable wearable tech and powered by rechargeable First Ones tech. She wasn’t sure yet if it was a good idea to advertise that said First Ones tech recharged by leaching energy off the wearer… eh that was something Future Entrapta could worry about. To be honest most people never cared much about ethical nature of tech anyway, so she should be fine if she hid that detail in the tiny small print somewhere in the terms of service.  At least one of her mass marketed products did include a clause which allowed her to call upon a user to be part of a human centipede.  If she ever ran out of First One’s tech to play with she would be sure to try that.
Her ever faithful Lab Partner Hordak just smiled as she placed the prototype collar on him, plugged in a cable and downloaded the error free program.  He could tell she was stifling an evil laugh.
“It’s just linguistics Darling”
“Sorry”, she giggled, “force of habit”
She scrutinised her computer screen as the download reached 98%. If something was going to go wrong that was the time and even Hordak knew it as his pupils-less eyes darted back and forth between her and the screen.
For once nothing blew up and the download completed successfully.  Entrapta sighed in relief as she removed the cable and the program installed into the collar.
“How do you feel?” She inquired, as she watched the collar light up indicating a successful install
“No different” came the response
She smiled.  Although Hordak was a man of few words (and she of many) he refused to let her be the first test subject for her own safety.
“Hordak, Sweety, I’m going to need you to work with me on this.  Ramble on about something anything”
“Okay”, He paused for a second, “you know those sausage rolls, the nice ones-“
The collar lit up as he continued
“D’ye be alreet. Whit ever is th' kinch, tis fixed wi' thae. Ye ken ah wonder howfur ah ever leed wi'oot a Gregg’s in mah lee.  Or you...actually ye.  Dae dae ken a loue ye mair than Gregg's rolls richt?”
Entrapta looked horrified, her face a mix of emotions from this assault on her eardrums as Hordak continued his rambling
“Whit's th' kinch Starlight?” he paused before continuing “Ah tis this wee thing.  It seems it wirks, 'n' brilliantly.  Och yer sae clever mah dear.  Th' maist stoatin 'n' brightest mynd in th' galaxy  It's aboot time tae ca' -”
“WE’RE DONE HERE!” she yelped as she slammed the power button on the device with all her might.

*Later*
Hordak: Entrapta... I believe perhaps, its time we take our relationship to the next level. To be more than just lab partners.
Entrapta: *Gasp* You want to assemble a research team?
Hordak: What? No I...
Entrapta: No you're right that's a bit much, maybe just get a lab assistant and see where it goes from there?
Hordak: No I mean... Actually, a research assistant would not be a bad idea. Let me make some calls.
*later*
Catra: So, how did the proposal go?
Hordak: *Looking through lab assistant resumes* What are you on about Catra, Can't you see I'm busy looking at...... Damn. It.
Catra: So proposal went good then.
Hordak: Why are you even here.
Catra: Sparkles mentioned you were proposing to Entrapta and I didn't want to miss the train wreck. I was not disappointed.
Hordak: I hate you.
Catra: I know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*inhales deeply* "...Yes, two friends."
I thought this post was basically canon for when Catra tried to corrupt Entrapta

A Entrapta X Hordak fic!
Tumblr media
Author's note: Yay! My second ever fic I posted! Got the idea while drawing today! Again, tell me if there's any grammar errors, 'cause english is not my first language, and if you think there's anything I can improve on! Enjoy the puppy kitten content!
—And then the whole thing caught on fire! -Entrapta cackled, troting ahead of Hordak.
His tail up and straight and hers wagging excitintly, filling him in another tale of Sea Hawk's arson incidents.
—Does the Princess of Salineas never tires from her consort's antics?
—Mermista? No, I don't think so. She does tell him off if he irritates her, though! -she cackled again and Hordak smiled.
The tip-tapping of Entrapta's small paws on the floor was normally very loud, in a endearing way, but the pouring rain outside the castle outran most of the noises around Hordak. So much so, he was a little uneased when the rain started.
Entrapta noticing her lab partner's hesitance offered to end today's research ealier and go to bed, relunctant, he accepted, and she tried to distract him with her friends' funny moments and taking the long route to their room.
Hordak seemed much more at ease and she lost herself in her talking again. She turned back to him and found the Lord of Dryl staring at her with a loving smile. She blushed a little.
-What? -she tilted her head.
-I...
KABROOM!!!
Lightining struck. They had stopped under a window, the rain beating againts the glass and the roof, the wind howling like a starved beast. It made Hordak stop on his tracks. He had never heard such a huge storm, as it barely rained in the Fright Zone.
KABROOM!!!
The crack of the thunder sounded awfully familiar, and it brought back unpleasent memories. His ears drew back, his tail dropped and he unsheated his claws.
Entrapta's ears perked up and she started to get worried.
—Hordak? -she called again. —What's wrong?
He snapped back.
—N-nothing! Apologies... -he recomposed himself. —You were saying, beloved?
KABROOM!!!
He flinched. Entrapta looked at the window and back at him, reaching for him with her ears.
—It's not nothing... Are you scared of thunder?
—Of course not! -he growled. —Why I be scared of a noise?
KABROOM!!!
That one was louder. Hordak took four steps back, the Lady of Dryl could feel him shaking and he had his tail between his legs.Entrapta realizing how serious it was tried to approach him, speaking in a calming voice.
—It's okay! There's nothing to be afraid of! It can't hurt you, I promis-
KABROOOM!!!
And that one was the loudest. It must have struck nearby, because it shook the intire castle. It flashed a blinding light at the window and even Entrapta flinched. It was so loud it took her a second to realize her lab partner was gone. He must have been so scared! To run off like that? Something was up and she wouldn't leave him frightened alone in the middle of a storm!
She went after him, calling his name through the corridors, careful to avoid the traps, asking the servants if anyone saw him.
No luck.
With the storm still coming down, Entrapta doubted Hordak would come out of his hidding place, and she doubted even more that he would acknoledge this happened at all in the following morning.
—Hordak! -she called again. —Where are you? You're worrying me!
KABROOM!!!
—OH, SHUT UP! -she yelled at particularly nobody, cursing the storm under her breath.
Her ears perked up again as she heard a tiny screech and the sound of flapping wings.
—Imp!
The little kitten flew straight down to her paws and purred in her tight hug.
—Do you know where Hordak is?
Imp opened his mouth and let out a huge yowl. But it wasn't his voice, it was Hordak. And he sounded absolutely terrified.
—Can you take me to him? -she put him back down. —Where's your daddy?
Imp chirped and took flight as Entrapta followed him.
--------------------------------------------------
Imp flew to the other side of the castle to a deposit, where Emily was also waiting at the door, pawing it trying to get it open. Entrapta petted the robot, who beeped in a sad tone, as she opened the door and peeked inside.
And sure enough, there he was. Between the dusty shelves and the cleaning products there was an old, moldy couch, with a ragged blanket covering a very shaky and noisy feline form. A tuff of dark blue fur and a paw with red claws poked out of the blanket, as Hordak growled loudly in a scared tone.
KABROOM!!!
Hordak yowled and withdrew his tail and paw, shaking even more. Entrapta trotted over to him, nudging her way into the blanket, her face lit with her lab partner's eyes' red glow.
—There you are! -she smiled. —What happened? I looked for you everywhere!
He did not anser, unable to look her in the eyes, he turned his face away ashamed.
—Hordak, what's wrong? I can't help you if you don't talk to me! Are you upset about the thunder?
—I should've known better than to run off like that! -he spat. —What if you were in real danger?! What kind of worthless soldier runs from noise?!
Entrapta frowned and cupped his face with her fur.
—Excuse me, sir! You are NOT a soldier anymore, and you are NOT worthless! -the Lady of Dryl growled. —You're allowed to be scared! Everyone is scared of something, even if it's something silly! Frosta is scared of thunder!
—She's an infant, Entrapta.
—Well... Bow is scared of cockroaches!
—The archer is a coward!
—Hordak!
—He is!
—He isn't afraid of telling people he's scared of something!
Hordak lowered his head, defeated.
—My point is: You don't need to be afraid to admit that you're scared! -she reached out and touched his paw with hers and he withdrew his claws.
—Would a cuddle make you feel better? -her tail wagged.
Blushing, he lift his paw and made some space for her to fit. She snuggled against his chest, wrapping her fur around him, spooning his body.
—Were you just planning to stay here the entire night?
He thought for a while.
—Maybe...
—Silly! -she giggled and kissed his forehead. —If you thought I would just let you hide yourself and not make sure you felt loved and safe you thought very, vey wrong!
He purred loudly, wraping his tail around her, kissing her cheeks.
—Your stuborness may be my only anchor to sanity in this mess of a planet, beloved...!
Entrapta smiled and kissed him, blushing at his compliments.
—And you know what?!
—What...?
—I think the storm stopped!
They waited, and listened. Nothing. The storm had stopped. And so they made their way back to their room. Through the short route this time, of course.
Talking and showering each other with compliments and kisses while they walked.
Entrapta took off her mask and jumped in the bed, wich bounced her back and forth until Hordak had completely taken his armor off and joined her.
They embraced each other in purss and tail waggs and Entrapta made herself a mental note to make Hordak a noise-muffling set of earphones as she drifted off to sleep.
I hope you guys like this one too! Let me know what y'all think! Should I do more? You tell me!

For anyone who has never watched She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (SPOP), here is a summary of Entrapta and Hordak story.
Hordak (Gyro in this AU) is an alien who arrived into the planet of Etheria to conquer it, to stop him an alliance called The Rebellion leadered by the princesses of Etheria was born. Hordak’s army is known as The Evil Horde and his operation center is called The Fright Zone. Princess Entrapta (Fenton) rules the kigdom of Dryl and is well know in the scientific community because of her researches and tech development. She's autistic so social activities are a struggle but she keeps positive to the idea of making friends. At first, Entrapta was recruited by The Rebellion, but was left behind in The Fright Zone after an infiltration mission where the princesses believed her to be dead. This led her to meet Hordak, a brilliant mind that stimulated her own and quickly began to help him on his experiments out of pure hunger for knowledge and love for science. They grow closer as they keep working together (lab partners ❤️) to the point that Hordak trust her his physical disabilities and his actual plan to built a portal to send a signal out of the planet to call for reinforcements and conquer Etheria once and for all. Now, Hordak is a villian but this is because he literally knows no better. He is a clone of Horde Prime (Dr. Akita) who is the megalomaniac leader of The Horde (the original one) and conqueror/destructor of universes. All clones are coded to follow, serve and praise to Horde Prime (a religious cult). Hordak was banished to Etheria due to his physical illness and is trying to prove himself by conquering the planet in Prime's name. The portal works and Prime gets the signal, but Hordak is deceived to believe that Entrapta never left The Rebellion and only used him to access to his technology, meanwhile Entrapta is sent to die to Beast Island. Heartbroken, Hordak goes feral and continues the plan to take as much of the planet before Prime's arrival so he can return to his side, which happens, but not in the way he expected. Horde Prime is furious, Hordak proved he has won independence and built his own identity which is forbidden to any clone. Hordak is rebooted, his memories are vanished and he joins The Horde again while Prime begins to take over Etheria, as the planet is believed to be a powerful weapon. The Rebellion helps Entrapta to get out of Beast Island and she teams up with them again to stop Prime and save Hordak. The other princesses gave her a hard time because of her betrayal but she proves she cares about them and is willing to help. Hordak has flashbacks of his time with Entrapta, filling him with guilt and doubt abouts his current life. When Horde Prime takes Entrapta captive for interfering with his communication system, Hordak can't take it anymore and reveals against his godly figure to save the only person he has cared for. With the help of Princess She-Ra, Horde Prime is vanished, freeing Etheria and the entire universe from his grip. Now Hordak can be with his beloved Entrapta and choose who he wants to be. Imagine the power of this ship and the wonderful development they had to be one of the few canon ships I like among them all. Their slow burn is *chef kiss*
I can see this working for Fenro. Gyro is already a tragic character who also struggles with the perception of self worth and living under his oppressor’s shadow, so if you want to see him suffering even more then Hordak’s background is perfect. Fenton is different to Entrapta in morals as she’s more gray and Fenton tends to be black and white, but considering how Fenton has done wrong things with good intentions it could slip like that, they both have hurt people but that was never their goal. On another hand imagine how cute would it be to have Boyd as Imp. Hordak and Imp share and important bond that could translate nicely to the father-son relation of Gyro and Boyd. I have drew him and let me tell you, he's cute. Emily as Lil Bulb has been tricky in design, but since she’s a robot built by Hordak and modified by Entrapta is a nice reflection on how Fenton and Boyd help Gyro’s technology to stop going evil.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ENTRAPDAK AU ENTRAPDAK AU ENTRAPDAK AU
Entrapdak is one of the reasons I found Fenro appealing in the first place, both ships share common aspects I covered here.
I still believe in lab partners supremacy ❤️

Woops, forgot to include the shaded sketch version of the lab partners! Here you can see Hordak’s cane, which is obscured in the comic. I hope I can get around to cleaning this up and coloring it one day 💜

HEADCANONS IF ENTRAPDAK WAS CANON IN S2/3 ONWARD
I really would’ve loved to see them interact more in the earlier seasons, (1 or 2) because hordak at first is just this big ass villain that we don’t see much and he’s just this big looming and then in comes a princess that accidentally got locked in and she’s not one bit scared and walks on by and he’s immediately intrigued to find out this woman’s deal and why he kinda likes it?? long story short, yes, they’re seeing each other and yk what good for them and me!
A EPISODE WHERE THE REBELLION KEEPS TRYING TO GET INTO THE FRIGHT ZONE AFTER SEEING THE HORDE GETTING BIG THINGS AND THINK THEY'RE PLANNING SOMETHING BIG BUT NO IT’S ACTUALLY JUST HORDAK IS JUST PREPARING A DATE FOR HIM AND ENTRAPTA AND HE KEEPS TELLING THEM TO PLEASE LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR ONE NIGHT
EPISODE WHERE THE TWO GO ON AN ALONE MISSION AND EVERYONE IS CONFUSED WHY HE'S THERE WITH  HER FOR ‘NO REASON’ BUT HE JUST WANTS TO PROTECT HER
BASED ON THAT ART OF LIKE HORDAK AT PRINCESS PROM- I THINK IT WOULD B HILARIOUS IF HE DID GO AND FREAK THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYONE but he is literally just sitting there wanting to spend time with entrapta so she’s not alone and cause he loves her
catra just having to deal with them being literally attached to each other while she’s not trying to tear out all her hair from frustration like she’ll be waiting to be sent out on a mission but hordak is busy worrying over keeping his lab partner safe
super pal trio having girl time or a sleepover and entrapta gushing about him to catra and scorpia (much to catra's dismay)
her ‘hiding’ in his cape
HER WEARING HIS CAPE (even if it pools around her)
( i think i have seen this before, and yk what i need everyone to know that i frickin' love it-) but her causally chilling in the throne while hordak is the one standing next to her
hordak trying to make announcement to the horde and entrapta just in the background or interrupting randomly and his demeanor changing as soon as she’s near them
a episode about rumors (they progressively get weirder and funnier through it ) about them and what they do together and trying to keep it secret in the worst and obvious way possible but little do they know imp records them and plays it back to them after hours and they just listen to it and laugh while they wind down
her climbing about the throne whilst he's trying to be serious like a lil gremlin
(inspired by some amazing fics!) episode where entrapta gets impromptu taken on a mission by the rebellion that tries to get her back on their side but she isn't complying because she has 'relations' back there but they aren't putting two and two together the whole time meanwhile hordak is losing all his fucking shit trying to find her and get her back
episodes where the super pal trios are out on missions on their own and just having entrapta getting spammed by hordak
and now during the 'imperfections are beautiful' scene and afterwards with the crystal she actually tells him what it means and it is the first time she has said it to him and it is
hordak loving her calling her his queen and lady of the horde and addressing like that teasingly and affectionately <3
the first time soldiers/cadets call her the title it does not even phase her in the slightest
gag idea for this au: the rebellion is either 110% oblivious with them being together and every time someone or they (entrapta or hordak) try to tell them they just interrupt them and it is just so silly
or they just know by looking at them (there's no in between)
hordak gifting her weapons of mass destruction and war crime and shit and her seeing it being the most romantic thing (because it is!)
and even more angsty hordak during season 4, leaning even more into wanting to show off to ur ex that you are doing great since the break up cliche
and flip side with entrapta being angsty and just wanting to forget about their ex cliche
ergo a even more emotional reunions/meetings in season 5, yes i am just doing this for imaginary fan-service (come get ur juice!)
ignore my blatant screaming in the first three hcs, i just got those ideas randomly and scrambled to write them down

Where Do We Go Now?
A She-ra: Princess of Power 2018 fanfiction
The war is finally over. Prime is dead, the hive mind is broken, and everyone is reunited with their loved ones. However, there are some questions left unanswered. What will be the fate of Catra and Hordak? What are these new memories Wrong Hordak has? What is Etheria's place in the wider universe? Where do we go now?
___________________
Now for chapter 18. Wanna know what Entrapta was doing while Hordak was with his brothers?
___________________
Chapter 18: Video Chat
Entrapta sat in her lab drumming her fingers on a workbench. She did not want to start another project without Hordak nor had any of her works in progress interested her at the moment. She was bored a rare occurrence. She wished her Lab Partner was here
Is Hordak still classified as my Lab Partner? While on a technical level, they were two individuals working on scientific projects, but they were dating.
Are we dating? They never made it official even though they had confessed their mutual feelings only four days ago. Entrapta could not have misread the situation when Hordak had made his feelings abundantly clear. Also, everyone in the Alliance knew about their relationship. Wait, they haven’t even been on an official date, so they would be just partners in general.
Before she got too far down the rabbit hole, she was startled by the beeping of her computer. A small emoji of Bow popped up on her screen and the bottom text read as an incoming call. Steadying her breath, she accepted the call.
“Hi, Bow! Did you need anything?”
“Hey, Entrapta. Glimmer and Adora want the rest of the Alliance to come up to Prime’s ship and see if there are any clones left behind and I was wonder in if you and Hordak would like to see if there are any files or tech he has that we might find useful?”
“Yes! YES! YES!”
“Alright, we’ll pick you two up tomorrow say… nine?”
“We’ll be there!” Entrapta hung up abruptly flapping her hands and spinning in her seat. “Emily!” Emily awoke from sleep mode and rushed over to Entrapta.
“Help me pack we have a trip tomorrow!”
Entrapta furiously rushed around her lab grabbing all her tools and the converters needed for accessing all of the alien techs. She was in such a frenzy she barely noticed the lab doors opening until a tall, dark figure stood behind her.
“Oh great, Hordak you’re here! Are you busy tomorrow?”
“Not with anything particular, no.”
“Good because Bow just called and said we can come with the Alliance to The Velvet Glove to see what tech we can find.” She paused. “As long as it is ok with you.”
“This is… acceptable.”
“Ok, good. Wanna help me pack?”
“I would be glad to.”
Before the couple could get to work the doors hissed open. In came a robot holding a package.
“Oh good it came.” Entrapta rushed over to the bot and plucked the package from its hand before patting it on the head. “This is for you.”
Hordak took the box from her hands and gave it a small shake. He looked back down at her. He used one of his claws to rip the tape and gingerly opened the flaps of the box. He pulled out a pair of navy overalls with cobalt pockets and red stitching. With wide eyes, he looked at Entrapta with a mix of shock and adoration.
“Do you like them? I thought since most of your belongings were destroyed and you don’t need the warlord persona anymore you would need something to wear around the lab.”
“I-I um,” he dropped to his knees into a bow, “thank you, Princess. I greatly appreciate this.”
Entrapta rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek while her hair brought him to his feet.
“Your welcome, Hordak, and you don’t have to be so formal with me. I’m your partner, not your superior.”
“Apologies.”
“You have nothing to apologize for. At least it was not ‘technologically sound’.”
“You are never going to let me live that down, are you?”
“Never will.”

Bombs Away
Dazed and dripping, Sea Hawk wrung the saltwater out of his mustache. He could have sworn that he was enjoying a lovely, arson-free day on his ship only moments ago. But then a suspiciously beautiful tidal wave had crashed over the deck, and he suddenly found himself in this surprisingly cozy underwater grotto. Why, if Sea Hawk knew his salt (and he did), this could only be the work of —
“Mermista!” he sang, grinning as he turned to see the aquamarine princess. “Just couldn’t wait to get me in private, could you, my love?”
Mermista scowled. “This is serious, boo. You’re the only one I can trust.” She glanced from side to side and then leaned in to whisper. “It’s about Hordak.”
“Hordak? But he’s been ever so helpful since the war ended. He’s even been leading the restoration of Salineas.”
“I know! That’s the problem!” Mermista produced a waterproof datapad and shoved it under Sea Hawk’s nose. “Look! We intercepted a transmission to Dryl from his personal comms just this morning.”
Sea Hawk studied the text on the screen, reading it aloud in a puzzled tone. “Greetings Entrapta. You remain the most wondrous being in the universe. I humbly request a new shipment of bombs to be delivered to my temporary quarters in Salineas as soon as possible. XOXO. PS, this is your lab partner, Hordak. PPS, XOXOXOXOXO.”
He looked up. “Well, this seems harmless enough.”
Mermista mashed her face into her palm. “The bombs, Sea Hawk! He’s obviously planning some kind of sabotage to the city!”
“Oh. What about the hugs and kisses?”
“That’s clearly a secret code! I knew I was right not to trust him.”
Sea Hawk dithered. Despite everything, he had actually started to grow fond of the former warlord. It turned out they had a similar flair for the dramatic, and Hordak had given him some good tips for the best ways to set boats on fire. They’d even gone boot shopping together once.
“Perhaps we should… ascertain the threat level before we do anything rash, my dear?”
“Oh, I plan to,” Mermista huffed. “You and I are going on a stakeout. Come on.”
Sea Hawk offered little resistance. He could think of worse ways to spend a day.
Hordak was quartered in a small beachside cabin near the most active areas of reconstruction. From there, he could work on designs for new buildings, supervise the construction teams, and even make small equipment repairs. There was hardly a moment that he didn’t spend deep in concentration or toiling diligently.
And for every one of those moments, Mermista watched him, peering out of a high palace window with Sea Hawk’s spyglass pressed to her eye. Occasionally she’d yell out what she saw to Sea Hawk (“He left his lunch break five minutes early! Write that down!”) or mutter under her breath about all the possible ways Hordak might be secretly plotting the city’s second downfall (“I bet he’s going to blow up the reefs first. That’s what I’d do.”).
Just as the light was dimming into evening and the first few stars were appearing in the sky, Sea Hawk was startled awake by an immaculate elbow jabbing him in the ribs.
“Look!” Mermista hissed. “It’s happening!”
Sea Hawk took the proffered telescope. All the other workers had gone home for the night, but Hordak was still standing outside his door, trying and failing to look inconspicuous, glancing in every direction and nervously tapping his foot. Then he looked up towards the sky. Sea Hawk followed his gaze and saw a helicopter drone bearing the seal of Dryl slowly descending. It held a small crate as a payload. The sailor’s stomach sank. He wanted Salineas to be safe, of course, but he also really didn’t want to look for someone else to play shuffleboard with.
“Let’s go!” Mermista cried, jumping out the window. “We have to catch him red-handed!”
One water flume later they were on the beach, Mermista glistening, Sea Hawk trying to extract a hermit crab from his ear. Hordak whipped around, the crate from the drone in his hands. His eyes widened in guilty surprise.
“Princess Mermista!” Hordak stammered. “Please, I can explain!”
“I’m sure you will,” Mermista growled. “I knew you were up to no good. Hand over the bombs!”
Hordak’s ears dipped in embarrassment. Hanging his head in shame, he held out the crate. Mermista snatched it away from him and tore off the lid. Bracing themselves, she and Sea Hawk peered inside.
The box was filled with a dozen colorful spheres, each no bigger than an apple. Mermista prodded one carefully and found that it was made of a chalky, compressed powder. It smelled like flowers.
Sea Hawk tried and failed to hide a smile behind his mustache. “Mermista. My love. Light of my life. With all due respect, I think these are…”
“BATH bombs?” Mermista groaned. “You were smuggling bath bombs?”
Hordak almost seemed to shrink. “I know it is… unbecoming of one such as myself to seek luxury, especially while I am atoning for my wrongs. But you see, the hot water helps with my condition, and since Entrapta introduced me to the science of ‘self-care’ I have…”
“I don’t care about your stupid bubble baths! I thought you were going to blow up the kingdom!”
Hordak straightened and scratched his chin. “Oh. Yes, I can see how that misunderstanding may have occurred. But I assure you, I wish no harm to Salineas. Besides, even if I did I would probably start by attacking the reefs. That would require many more explosives than just one drone could deliver.”
Mermista pinched the bridge of her nose. “Oh for… All right. Listen. You’re coming with me. Right now. No funny business.”
They stalked silently through the palace. Mermista stomped far ahead of the other two, and Hordak followed behind like a chastised puppy. Sea Hawk brought up the rear, trying to think of something reassuring to say and not coming up with much. But when they reached the stairs that he knew for a fact lead to the dungeons, Mermista turned and led them down a different hallway instead. She stopped in front of a pair of tall brass double doors.
Mermista glared at Hordak. “I am giving you special dispensation to access this part of the palace. If you sneak around anywhere else, or if you tell anyone about what’s in here, I’ll drop the ocean on you. Got it?”
Hordak nodded. “I understand.”
Mermista pushed the doors open. Inside there was a massive room lined with dozens of shelves. Many held spheres similar to the ones Hordak had just received, but there were also colorful bottles of magnesium sulfate, scented soaps, and every kind of bubble solution imaginable. The colors and smells were abundant but not unpleasant.
“The royal stash!” Sea Hawk gasped.
“Oh my,” Hordak breathed. One of the labels caught his eye. “You have lavender?”
“I have everything,” Mermista boasted. “Wait’ll you see the ones with prizes in them. And I can’t have any construction workers not taking care of themselves, can I?”
Hordak bowed deeply. “This is a great honor, princess. I vow to remain worthy of it.”
Mermista crossed her arms and looked away. “Yeah, well. This isn’t because I forgive you, or anything.”
While Hordak perused the shelves, humming and waggling his ears in delight, Sea Hawk sidled up to Mermista.
“That was a very nice thing you did, my love.”
“Oh, shut up.”
“I am physically unable to! But more to the point, I’ve noticed that you seem to have developed a taste for the exciting fizzing drinks that Entrapta’s kingdom produces. And now we know that her prince consort has turned his lust for conquest to a lust for bath products. Perhaps this could be the start of a robust new trade agreement between Salineas and Dryl?”
Mermista groaned. But Sea Hawk was right.
That happened occasionally.

‘Tis Only a Flesh Wound
She-Ra fanfiction Entrapdak Entrapdak Mini-Month Rated PG - Graphic description of injury  Prompt / Theme - Day 5 - Clumsy  Summary: Entrapta has all of the self-preservation instincts of an overripe potato, and she has trouble taking a serious injury as seriously as she should.  Lucky for her, Hordak is an excellent surgeon.   Somewhat inspired by a video game character from a game I have played very little of.  The character’s backstory was very Entrapta-like.  Both are women of science and asskickery.   ____________________  ‘Tis Only a Flesh Wound “Oops…” “ENTRAPTA!” She dropped the handheld circular saw she had been wielding in her hair sharply on the work-table.  Blood was running from her upper left arm in alarming amounts. It spurt slightly before she quickly wrapped a tendril of hair above it, forming a tourniquet.   “Remain still and let me see it!  Keep your hair tight!”   Entrapta’s skin was paling.  “Accidents happen!” she said.   Her demeanor and the fact that she was not howling in agony were bad signs – severed nerves, shock… Hordak needed to work swiftly.  More importantly, he had to keep calm.  He tried to will his hearts to steady.  This was a difficult task, as whenever Entrapta got so much as a headache, some part of him thought that she was dying.  Losing her again was chief among his fears.   Hordak grabbed a blanket and tucked it around Entrapta’s shoulders, careful of the wounded arm.  He muttered to himself the guidelines he’d learned for treating Etherians for cases of acute physical trauma and heavy blood loss.  He flicked his ears, both in agitation and because he knew that it entertained Entrapta and would hopefully keep her awake and present-minded.   As he was examining the wound, Entrapta reached a bloodied bit of hair for the saw and squinted at the robot she had been working on.  Hordak grabbed the handle of the device.   “Drop it…” he hissed, immediately regretting how harsh he sounded.  “How can you think of work at a time like this?”   “I need to finish the positronic-brain install,” she insisted.  “It’ll only take a sec!”   “You have just sustained a major injury.” He gave her a glare, “A life-threatening one for your species.”   “Just clumsy, I guess! I’ve had worse!”   Hordak swiveled the work-table lamp to shine over the cut.  “Take a look,” he said cooly, applying pressure to the area above the wound with a firm grip, assisting her hair. “Oh, no, I guess I haven’t had worse,” the young woman conceded.  “Is that bone?” Hordak grunted.  He called to Imp.  “Don’t be afraid, he said to him, “I need you to fetch my surgical-tools and medications.” “Mother?” Imp asked, using a recording of Glimmer’s voice.  How he had picked that up, Hordak did not know.   “Entrapta will be fine if we act quickly,” he assured the batling.   “Faaaaaascinating,” Entrapta drawled. Her speech was mildly slurred. “Ow! Ow!  It’s actually starting to hurt now.” “I am sorry for moving my fingers without warning,” Hordak apologized.  “I am afraid that the healing-process will be agony.”   “Don’t wooooory about it,” Entrapta said, reaching for her tool again, with her good hand this time.   “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” “At this rate,” she answered, “I should just cut the whole thing off! We have all of these prosthetic designs we’ve been working on as part of our payback to the Etherian populace and those experiments we’ve been working on to replace your forearms.”   Her face lit up in pure excitement.  Her hair frizzed.  “IN FACT, I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR AN ACCIDENT JUST LIKE THIS ONE TO TEST MY THEORIES!” Hordak winced.  No wonder people all over called Entrapta a mad scientist with an emphasis on the mad part. Hordak, out of character for him in most situations, but in character for his dealings with his lab partner, took the gentle approach.   “We do not know how well a prosthetic will work,” he said, “Even with your brilliant designs, techno-organic integration is no small feat.  The technology for its integration with my people was lost when Horde Prime was…destroyed. You may not be able to achieve full-mobility.”   Entrapta gave him a serious, pleading look, along with a wince.  “I will not achieve full-mobility as it is.  This cut is deep.  I feel like a boned-out ham!”   Imp returned with a large black case. Hordak instructed Entrapta to keep her hair wound above the wound while he made haste to prepare a syringe of a powerful numbing-agent.  He found a viable point and injected it.  Hordak was not entirely new to such things, but he rarely used them when he was hurt. Horde Prime’s indoctrination was one of conserving such valuable resources and of suffering bringing moral clarity and purity.  As such, any surgeries that clones endured came without anesthetic or other pain-management agents unless it was absolutely necessary to keep them from moving during the procedure.  Entrapta insisted that Hordak take painkillers at least every once in a while – although he loathed certain side-effects.  His condition, being written into his genes, had no cure, only management.  Entrapta, however, had a simple, straightforward wound.   “Adora may assist us,” Hordak proposed. “She does not call up She-Ra often, but surely she can for this.” “She’s in deep space,” Entrapta reminded him. “We couldn’t go, remember? We had those timed cell-matrix experiments and I didn’t want to leave you alone. I’m going next time, though.  And next time, I’ll get to show off my new robot-arm!” With the injury properly quick-staunched and a feed of blood installed through an IV-line (Entrapta kept a vault of her own blood as well as donated clone-blood, regularly drawn, just in case of lab accidents – a measure that Hordak had insisted upon), Hordak got an even better look.   “Barring an ability to procure Adora swiftly, I reluctantly agree with you.  The limb, at this point… is lost.” “See?  I told you I was right!  Now let me get that saw!” Hordak snatched it off the table before she could grab it.  “I shall do it,” he insisted, “with proper sterilization.”   Imp looked on in worry, but laid the surgical case before him.  He passed a magnifier to Hordak, a scalpel and tools for stitching.   “Can you fetch the shoulder-mount prototype for me?” he asked his creation, “The left arm; the small, slender one.”   He looked to Entrapta as Imp flew off. Imp was not always – or often – so obedient, but could be helpful for the people he cared about.  His actions around Hordak were practiced.  The child knew every tool.  Hordak had done many surgeries on himself, after all, with Imp watching. “I should call the doctors and have you put under for this,” Hordak muttered.   “No way!” Entrapta pressed, “I wanna watch it all!  And help! Besides, the resident doctors are clone-doctors… and other Etherians don’t’ have the knowledge for this.  I need to be able to be awake for the attachment of the processors to the nerves.  And, yes… don’t give me that pout! I know that it’s going to hurt, but I trust you! You’re a wonderful surgeon, Hordak!” “I am not so sure that we should do this without assistance.” “Why not?  We’ve studied each other’s bodies thoroughly!” This earned Entrapta one furiously-blushing spacebat.  Hordak’s ears dipped bashfully.   They talked and worked through the night.  Entrapta winced as delicate cuts and necessary stitches and cauterizations were made and her arm was hooked up to a system that was supposed to function very much like a natural arm – save for some optional pop-out tools.
The two scientists casually discussed the preservation of the discarded limb for dissection and study.  Hordak’s jaw went agape at Entrapta’s joke that she could clone an army of herself from it.  She apologized, realizing that she should not say such things around Hordak, even in jest.
The morning found her in an exhausted sleep and Hordak watching her like a hawk.
When her friends came back from their latest mission, their jaws dropped at the shiny new cybernetic arm that Entrapta had to show off.   All because she was clumsy one day in the lab.

Entrapdak Positivity Month, Day 15: Spacebat appreciation
Tumblr media
It is time for the clones to master the art of ✨leisuring✨
Looks like Hordak's actually enjoying his well-deserved afternoon nap, good for him. It only took Entrapta several hours to convince her lab partner to join his brothers outside^^ -------------------------------------------
- As pose/background references I used John William Godward's paintings because the clones are works of art :>
- Don't mind random russian songs lyrics, I just wanted to fill in all empty spaces with something

Note
Entrapped as a lab partner was a wealth of social data how much gas a human can expose themselves to how much pressure our heart can take under so much body fat how can someone be obese adorable and still an alpha and society
Tumblr media
"uuraallpp... Ooof... How's all the data, Entrapta?"
Chihiro was more than happy to help the adorable girl in her research.
It was very clear given the near blobby and barely mobile nature of Chihiro. But he seemed delight and happy to be like this so... all was good! Aside from his body's health probably.

2021 Entrapdak Positivity Month: #03 Spooky
While he considered Dryl his home by now, it was certainly… rather unnerving to walk through the corridors of the castle without Entrapta as a guide. He may have enjoyed peace and quiet in the past, but this silence was not of any comfort. It was eerie.
Get a hold of yourself. Entrapta would never have anything in here that could harm you or her. He thought. Well, not on purpose anyways. This brilliant woman was known for building robots with their own mind, some of them were quite… ruthless.
Hordak sighed, it was of no use. Dryl was so complex that it would be best if he just sat down and waited for Entrapta to rescue him. Again. It was certainly not the first time Entrapta found the former leader of the Horde sitting on the ground, knees at his chest, waiting to be rescued by her. He prepared himself to wait for a longer while, since Entrapta was in her lab all day. Today definitely wasn’t his lucky day. As he sat down, leaning his head against the wall and closing his eyes to relax, a strange noise from above made him open his eyes again, grunting while leaning on the wall for support.
»Who goes there?! Entrapta?« More rustling above, which made him clench his fist nervously. His hearts were beating so fast, he feared they would break free from the cage that was his chest. It was ridiculous, really, but without his armour he felt vulnerable. Easy to overpower. Entrapta made sure that his condition was improving, he was gaining strength after basically starving himself, thinking that all food on Etheria was impure and that it was a crime for him to eat, but his body was still weak. While he really had faith in Entrapta, maybe one of her experiments went wrong and now they had a maniacal robot on the loose.
It took him all of his inner strength, to do some breathing exercises. The rustling stopped right above his head, and when he looked up, Imp, his creation flew right into his face, screeching happily as he climbed on top of his head.
»So it was you. You scared me, little rascal.« Imp screeched happily. Nothing was as joy-bringing as inconveniencing Hordaks day, just a little bit. He sighed, letting his shoulders relax.
»The least you can do to make up for this nonsense is lead me back to Entrapta.« Imp growled impatiently, but took off flying anyways. Hordak hurried after him. Imp waited in front of a huge door that opened the moment he stepped in front of it.
»Oh good! Imp found you! I sent him after you, figuring you might be lost again!« He grumbled. She didn’t have to rub it in.
»Now, pass me that screwdriver lab partner! I’m going to need your help with this one!« He examined the work she had already done. From the looks of it she was working on another robot. Another sibling for Emily.
»With pleasure.«
