Anyway I love c!Tommy and I haven't seen the streams yet but y'know my boy was good and kind and full of love and forgiveness and he did his best to extend that even to someone who absolutely did not deserve that

I don't think it was forgiveness, and Tommy did not need to understand Dream's bullshit motives at all. Abuse victims do not need to forgive or understand their abusers. But I understand Tommy wanting that illusion of peace and closure before he went, because Tommy fully knew what was going to happen to them both and was prepared for that

#i havent seen the streams beyond a few clips #but until i do i will believe that tommy was opearating under the knowledge they were both doomed and thats why he was so good to dream #tommy deserved to go out hating dream if thats what he wanted #but i dont think HE wanted that #dream smp finale cw #abuse apologism #i dont think this is but i dont want to trigger anyone who feels differently #i have more thoughts but ill construct my elaborate reading of the text in a way that intentioanlly minimises the flaws/inconsistencies #entirely for my own enjoynent #when i find the time to watch them
