The Favor

When Youngblood became a ghost he actually didn't think he would be so lonely. It was stressful and annoying, being so young, watching the years go by but never being able to move on or change. He was a child who died, and the only way for him to feel like a child again was to play.

But even then he felt invisible. That made his powers listen to his wishes and cause no adult to see him. And maybe that was for the better, adults were scary, adults could hurt you. They wouldn't understand.

Meeting the other ghosts was both a blessing and a curse. Everyone saw him as a kid, some thought he was annoying and others played with him. He was grateful to Ember for spending so much of her time being a pirate, but he didn't want to take up so much of her time. It made him feel guilty.

When Danny became King and the ghost kid heard that he was destined to help the other ghosts, Youngblood plucked up his courage and asked him for a favor: Find him a friend. One alive that wanted to play and never get bored of it.

Danny took the task very seriously, looking for all possible candidates, avoiding ghosts. Until he found a more or less suitable friend: Klarion. He was older than Youngblood but seemed to be just as bored. Clockwork looked at him in dismay at his solution to the problem but didn't stop him.

This led to the Justice League being defeated by Klarion, who had taken over the Watchtower and seemed to be happily talking to air. He was seconds away from destroying the earth or something similar with death ray, but there was nothing they could do about it.

Everyone froze when a portal opened next to the boy and someone came out asking "How are the new friends?" Before realizing the situation, the creature sighed in disappointment and destroyed the death ray with a snap of his fingers. A girl just like him came out of the portal excited ignoring everyone and began to talk to the air. Klarion seemed to be following the conversation.

Danny watched Youngblood talking to Dani and Klarion, he knew that his cousin could be good company, but he hadn't contacted her before due to her travels and status as a halfa (the probability of destroying the world was there too); well, now Youngblood had two friends (that solved the problem) but- how did he prevent them from ending the world? Or worse, from terrorize innocent cosplayers?

FFS, the idea that people in Meereen asked to sell themselves into slavery because of some failure of Dany's as a ruler is a freaking lie. The scene where people ask to sell themselves happens in Daenerys VI ASOS. This is the very chapter in which Dany first takes control of Meereen. She is in power for what? A week? People asking to sell themselves has nothing to do with whether Dany is a good or a bad ruler, because she literally just got there. There hasn't been enough time for things to stabilize or for Dany to do much of anything, for you to be declaring that this is proof that she is a bad ruler.

why is it that alicent and sansa are given the interiority no one ever has for rhaenyra and dany. why are they the long-suffering chessmasters while rhaenyra and dany are the warmongering power hungry whores. as though rhaenyra and dany have not suffered at all and are not intelligent or have any political savvy. like bffr

Misty-fucking-Quigley is, by several leagues at this point, officially the least certifiably insane person, which I never would have considered a possibility during season 1. Cassandra loves being on stage and be the center of attention but at the same time she also is an overachiever and if she comes in second place that’s just like her losing she just doesn’t cope with anything less than the top spot.

She feels like she’s disappointing her mama and she can’t deal with the thought. For the life of her, Alcina can’t figure out where Cassandra is getting these thoughts from. She never insinuated that he she expects the best, all she wants is for her daughter to enjoy what she’s doing and the result doesn’t matter. But Cassandra is adamant: anything less than the tip spot and she’s the disappointment of her mother.

She gives herself so much stress and anxiety over it and no matter what Alcina says or does, it doesn’t change.

Kind of a bummer that they can’t really say anything about the movie but least they’re all so excited to.

Emily told them that they’re allowed to evolve and that she’ll meet them where they’re at and see how it goes. That’s much better than forcing unrealistic expectations and pressuring the actors to conform to what the characters were and are known best for.

I respect Emily Andras as a showrunner so much.

She’s doing it right. If people don’t like it - fuck them. Yes, it’s an actors job to portray people not like them but at the end of the day, they still need to feel safe and that’s what Emily does. Puts their safety first.

Dom was so certain that they’d never act again. The only reason they’re doing so now is because of how much they trust Emily Andras and Co. So enough about Waverly not looking like Waverly anymore. Just drop the complaints please or you will be blocked. I don’t fucking care. Dom’s safety and comfort means more to me than some fictional character’s aesthetic.

There are no flowers anywhere to be seen at the venue and some of the team are starting to freak out because they know Jamie was in charge of ordering them and surely he wouldn't be that much of an idiot? He is occasionally smart!

Van Damme is off in the corner going over what he's going to say (and seeing if he can somehow cram one more reference to Dani breaking his nose into the ceremony) while the others are trying to work out what has happened.

"Maybe they got delivered to the wrong venue?" says Sam. Isaac reckons they just forgot. Richard is confident that Jamie was the one that forgot. Colin wonders if the florist was in an accident, and the less said about Bumbercatch's theory the better.

Jamie eventually calms everyone down and says he's got it all sorted.

When Dani walks in, Jamie presents him with a single tulip.

There isn't a dry eye in the house.

I cannot stress enough that if you do not make and support the stories and headcanons and fics and interpretations you want to see in the world no amount of complaining that people make things you don't like will help you feel better in the long run

Also consider that just because you don't like more than one interpretation of a thing doesn't mean other people who like a different interpretation don't like others too

Oh! Oh this? This was priceless. The lion here was real lucky that this Pizzahead was on good terms with Pizzi.
