The most upsetting news to me is the somewhat current split-up of Faith No More. It is understood that the break-up is a result of boredom on the band's behalf.

Roddy Bottum continues to play/record with his pop band, Imperial Teen, and Mike Bordin is still touring with Ozzy, most notably during this year's Ozzfest tour.

Mike Patton will be recording a third album with Mr. Bungle, to be released sometime in 1999. A tour will also be following.

Currently, Patton is working with Dave Lombardo of ex-Slayer and Grip Inc., as well as Trevor Dunn of Mr. Bungle, and Buzz Osborne of the Melvins in a recently formed band called Fantomas. Though three tour dates have already been planned, no album has been attempted yet, and the sound they will have has not even been established.

This is not the only project Dave Lombardo is up to, with a new Grip Inc. album in the works, as well as a guest appearance on the upcoming Testament album.
