ewwwww ew ewew ew hate it hate it EW

(i am. finally playing hollow knight properly (never got far the first time and hadn't had a chance to pick it up again since then) and i'm in the spider part of the deepnest and. ew. it's so well done this area is making my skin crawl fr)

#artist brain says its cool af but lizard brain says its ew gross bad #lay rambles #hollow knight #if ur curious the reason i stopped the first time was because dying scared me lolol #(and also in part bc i found the controls really hard (still do sometimes tbh))#mostly because of dying tho cos the melancholic/eerie/grim atmosphere of the game was more than enough on its own #& the death animation + having to go back n pick up the shade + music when you get near + shade attacking u #which was especially scary bc death in ori (which i played right before that) was comparatively inconsequential #so i noped out of the game for quite a while haha #been having a blast playing it now tho #even if the shade did spawn in some really mean locations sometimes and cost me a couple thousand geo already ToT #enough rambling for now tho hsjhdfjhk
