I had seen that an account with this name had deactivated, a few weeks ago I think, and I remember you were "bo ba b eom" (trying to sensor the name to avoid this getting in the searches 😅) sumn like that in the beginning- but had to change bcs there's already a well known moablr acc with the same name. And then beomie-charms was your username...?

hi! i’ve actually only ever ran one txt blog and it’s this one, so i have no deactivated blogs that are related to txt. i used to be enhaflwr for a few months when i only wrote for enhypen but changed to beom1e shortly after when i began writing for txt, and that’s the only two usernames i’ve had here :)

you shivered as the door closed behind another leaving customer, forcing cold air into the store. jay caught your sleeve, pulling you into his side and letting you steal his body heat.

‘ooh, i like that one,’ reaching your hand out, you brushed your fingers over the label. it was pretty stereotypical, an orange, pumpkin scented candle that caught your attention.

‘you want our apartment to smell like pumpkin for the rest of the year?’ he teased, lifting another candle up. ‘what about this one?’

he held the candle out in front of you. it was a candle with three different scents, from vanilla to sugar cookie to cinnamon. you’d never heard of a candle with more than one scent before, the idea both exciting and intriguing. lifting the lid off, you brought it to your nose. eyes widening, you excitedly handed it to jay.

‘let’s get this one,’ you grinned, taking it back from him and shoving the lid back on. he reached to adjust your coat, zipping it all the way up before you could walk back out in the cold.

‘you know, you’re so cute,’ he pulled you closer, kissing your forehead. you felt your cheeks heat up at the action, shying away from him. ‘i’ll be right back.’

he paid for the candle before coming back to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and leading you outside. ‘how about we light this and watch some scary movies?’ you suggested, tilting your head to meet his gaze. he nodded in agreement, leaving one last kiss on your temple.

there was something so attractive about how jay stopped to hold the ladder steady for you. he was passing through the living room on the way to the kitchen when he spotted you trying to hang orange lights on the wall, and rushed to your aid. ‘you alright?’

‘yes,’ you blushed, using your thumb to smooth down the section of wire you had pinned to the wall. ‘i didn’t know you were up.’

‘i was waiting for you,’ he always said such things so casually, as if he wasn’t making your heart skip a beat. ‘so this is what you were doing this whole time?’

‘i was trying to surprise you, jay,’ you pinned the last section up, lowering yourself back onto your feet. he grabbed your hand while you came down the steps, making sure you couldn’t slip and fall even though it was just a step ladder. ‘but now that you’re here, what do you think?’

you were pulled into his arms, back flush against his chest while he scanned the living room. it was mostly orange and black, with a dash of fake white spiderwebs hanging neatly from the corners.

‘it’s perfect,’ he stated, pressing a kiss to your cheek. ‘just one question, though. are those christmas lights?’ groaning, you pulled yourself out of his arms. jay laughed proudly at your reaction, reaching to pull you back towards him.

‘happy birthday to you,’ you finished off the song, holding the small cake out in front of heeseung’s face. he closed his eyes to make a wish before blowing out the candles and you let out a small cheer, bringing a smile to his face. ‘what did you wish for?’

‘if i tell you, it won’t come true,’ he shook his head, sitting back in his seat. you placed the cake down and sat back in your own seat, swirling the ramen noodles around your chopsticks.

‘fair point,’ you hummed, holding the noodles out in front of his lips. ‘now say ‘ahh’,’

with a laugh, heeseung did as you said and took the food into his mouth. you smiled, placing the chopsticks back down before sighing. guilt consumed you with the thought that you didn’t plan anything special enough for his birthday.

‘hey, what’re you thinking about?’ he grabbed your hand, making you look up at him. his eyes were so full of concern.

‘i just wish we had more time together,’ frowning, you picked up the chopsticks and played mindlessly with the noodles. ‘i just didn’t have much time to plan something special for you.’

‘this is perfect, y/n,’ he took the chopsticks out of your hand so that he could hold both of your hands, sending you his signature smile. ‘really, i couldn’t imagine a better birthday than this one.’

you were pulled up to stand before his arms wrapped around you in a hug. not that you were aware, but heeseung had wished for many more days like the one he was having. it was just casual but intimate, the two of you together. he didn’t want a big deal to be made about his birthday, he just wanted you to be there.

‘you have a leaf in your hair,’ you pointed out towards your best friend, riki. his hand came up to where you pointed, fingers brushing through his hair in search for the orange leaf. a giggle escaped your lips at his attempts, and you reached over to grab it for him instead. ‘there you go.’

‘come on,’ he stood abruptly, grabbing your hand and pulling you up with him. before you could say anything else, he was running towards a pile of leaves with you trailing behind. ‘let’s jump.’

‘no way, riki,’ you laughed shortly. ‘i’m not seven.’

he shrugged in response to your words, dropping your hand and jumping into the pile. orange, red and yellow leaves flew into the air and all around you, clouding your vision with the bright colours. his laughter cut off your moment of amazement, his hand offered out towards you. without another thought, you took his hand and were pulled into the broken pile.

‘it’s fun!’ he wasn’t wrong.

forgetting about the world, you allowed him to twirl you around hand-in-hand and just enjoy the moment together. even when people passed by and gave the two of you concerned or confused looks, it didn’t bother you. because it was like the world stopped to make time for you and riki, the refreshing feeling of a first love between two best friends filling the air.

‘open your eyes,’ sunghoon finally allowed, watching as you slowly spread your fingers apart to peak through them. there he stood in the costume you picked out for him, but you hadn’t expected the way he had styled it. ‘surprised?’

you knew just a small compliment would be enough to knock down his cocky demeanour and showcase his shyer side, but you were speechless. the orange jumpsuit was tied around his waist, a white muscle t-shirt leaving his toned arms on full display. your eyes scanned his outfit from head to toe, mouth agape.

‘it was supposed to be embarrassing,’ you frowned. ‘me as the prison guard in charge and you as the prisoner.’

‘i can’t help the fact that i look good in everything,’ he shrugged, uncrossing his arms and making his way over to you. as he passed by you, he gently grabbed the brim of your cap and tugged it down over your eyes. ‘let’s go.’

‘hey!’ pout on your lips, you adjusted your hat and followed after sunghoon into the kitchen.

‘you’re so adorable,’ he commented as you stomped your way into the room. rolling your eyes, you took the cap off your head and placed it down onto the counter. ‘sorry, i mean you’re a super intimidating prison guard and i will never touch your hat again.’

‘forget it,’ before you could go back to the bedroom to change, sunghoon grabbed your hand and pulled you back. he wrapped his arms around you in a hug, laughing softly at how easily annoyed you could be.

jungwon wasn’t expecting to walk into his parents’ house and see you waiting for him. and he definitely wasn’t expecting you to get up all excited and claim you had a surprise for him. then he was forced to sit down on the couch where you had previously sat while you got up to get the supposed surprise.

‘maeum!’ you called, and watched as his dog came running happily into the living room. he was wearing a harness with angel wings attached, to blend in with his white fur.

‘when did you get this?’ jungwon laughed happily, dropping to his knees to scratch behind maeum’s ears. ‘he looks adorable.’

‘i knew you’d like it,’ beaming with joy and pride, you sat yourself down between your boyfriend and his dog. maeum came running over to you and sat himself in your lap. ‘i was thinking we could take him trick-or-treating with us.’

‘but can’t we show him off right now?’ you couldn’t say no to jungwon’s pleading eyes, sighing and standing up. ‘let’s go for a walk, maeumi!’

the dog jumped up at the mention of going on a walk, bringing a smile to your face. it was safe to say that the boy before you and his dog had taken ownership of your heart.

PROJECT BINKI | the wonki reunion

WARNINGS none

‘this is stupid,’ jungwon scoffed, being shoved down onto a chair by sunghoon. in his hands was your ink pot, curled up and fast asleep. looking down at it made him sick with jealousy. ‘y/n isn’t going to come searching here.’

‘of course they will!’ sunghoon lied, slipping his wand out of his pocket. a few seconds passed before riki walked in, glancing around the room until his eyes landed upon his best friend.

‘what is this?’ riki rolled his eyes, coming all the way in.

‘the wonki reunion, why?’ the oldest was smiling evilly, pointing his wand towards the door with a silent spell. it shrunk until it completely disappeared, locking them in. ‘i’ll be over there if you need me, not listening in to your conversation.’

‘how come you have the ink pot?’ riki was staring directly at the ceramic sleeping cat.

‘it wasn’t my choice,’ jungwon explained. ‘sim jaeyun grabbed me and forced me in here, then sunghoon handed me the ink pot. they told me some things that angered me, but by then the cat was sleeping and i couldn’t move too much or yell. how did they force you into here?’

‘sunoo gave me a tip that it would be here and i should go be a hero,’ the younger of the two was stood awkwardly in the dark room, rocking back and forth between his toes and his heels. ‘i had no idea anybody was going to be here. so what did they say?’

‘that they erased a section of my memory,’ sighing once again, jungwon watched the cat roll over in his palm. ‘i realised that y/n had feelings for me and they wanted me to forget so they obliviated me. clearly that didn’t go well considering… everything.’

‘for your information,’ jake appeared, resisting sunghoon who tried to pull him back. ‘all sunghoon’s idea!’

‘it was your idea,’ sunghoon argued, annoyed. ‘you were just being all talk and i actually wanted to do it.’

‘guys!’ jay whisper-yelled, yanking both boys behind the wardrobe they had been ducking behind the whole time.

‘right,’ riki rook a seat on the chair beside jungwon. ‘so you didn’t know y/n had feelings for you when you confessed?’

‘i had no idea,’ jungwon shook his head in agreement. ‘i thought we were just friends. we spent a lot of time together and i just ended up falling for them, and i’m sorry for acting on it.’

‘i’m sorry for ignoring you for two months,’ riki turned to face his best friend, a small smile on his lips. ‘i’m also sorry that you’re dealing with heartbreak right now. i do kinda want my best friend back though.’

‘i’ll get over it,’ jungwon nodded more to himself than to riki, deciding he didn’t want to keep feeling that way. ‘i never got to congratulate you guys on your relationship. you asked me and the others for help and you got them in the end.’

‘you don’t have to,’ frowning, riki stood up from the old wooden chair. ‘i know it’s going to be weird for a while.’

‘it was just a little crush,’ jungwon shrugged, following suit and standing up. ‘can you take this now?’

jungwon held the ink pot out towards riki, gesturing for him to take it and head outside. the door reappeared and you came rushing in, ready to find the missing cat.

‘you found him!’ grinning, you rushed over to the two boys and gladly took your ink pot back. ‘have you guys made up?’

‘more or less,’ jungwon avoided your gaze, shifting awkwardly.

‘good, because i just overheard this hufflepuff talking about how cute they think jungwon is,’ you rambled, the two of them following you out of the room of requirement. ‘but i know i wouldn’t be able to set it up on my own, and i just know that you’d really like them!’

both of them watched you carefully as you went on and on about the hufflepuff, but both for very different reasons. jungwon, because he felt saddened by the fact you could never be his but also admired the fact you were able to easily bring a smile to his long-term best friend’s face. and riki, because he found you so extremely fascinating and thought it was impossible that you could be his after the months he had spent loving the idea of you.

nobody can really predict how the future will turn out, not even those that have mastered divination. riki had never expected his friends’ attempts to set you up with him to work, nor did he expect his best friend to develop feelings for you in the midst of it all. jungwon never expected he would fall for you too, but he never was good at divination.

all in all, the unexpected happened. but even though jungwon would still look at you longingly for a little while, and riki would still turn to his friends for step-by-step relationship advice, everything was good.

you felt riki reach for your hand and turned back to check on jungwon who had froze on the spot. he sent you a sad smile before excusing himself, turning back around and heading for the ravenclaw tower.

‘so how do you feel about that hang-out offer, now?’ riki squeezed your hand in his, still pulling you along.

‘sure,’ you nodded, taking one final look back. ‘that’d be nice.’

jungwon watched you walk away with his best friend. he felt selfish and ashamed along with jealous, but he knew it was only going to be temporary. he just wished he had taken granted of those days you spent studying together and talking about your childhoods. because now, things could never be the same.

the bag containing orange icing split as you were squeezing some onto a pumpkin shaped cookie, a frustrated groan following. dropping the bag, you moved towards the sink to wash off the icing while mumbling about how annoying it was. decorating cookies was supposed to be fun.

heeseung took this as his chance, reaching over his phone to grab one of the freshly baked cookies and sitting back as if nothing had even happened. so when you turned back to the orange mess that was the baking tray of cookies, one of them was missing.

‘that’s strange,’ you shot a glare at the boy. ‘one of them has suddenly disappeared.’

‘beats me,’ he replied, hiding the stole treat in his lap.

‘hand it over,’ sighing, you felt defeated. you were already tired of decorating cookies after three and a half, so you had no patience left. ‘i’m not going to sit here and pretend to be stupid.’

‘y/n, relax,’ he stood, placing his phone down. ‘if you let me help, we’ll have fun. they don’t have to be perfect.’

the stolen cookie was offered out towards your lips by heeseung, making you raise a brow. reluctantly, you took a bite. it was heavenly and sweet and melted in your mouth, your shoulders finally relaxing. this caused your boyfriend to giggle, taking a bite for himself and feeling his troubles wash away at the taste.

‘ok, i guess we can just have fun,’ you gave in, handing the green icing over to him. ‘who cares if they don’t make it to my october highlight on instagram, right?’

jake held tightly onto your hand as your own hand was tightly gripping onto the leash attached to layla’s collar. it was peaceful where you walked, on a small path positioned between two walls of thick forest. usually the pathway would be busy with children running to and from the park it led to.

‘the stars are so pretty tonight,’ you observed, head tilted back as you admired them.

‘they have nothing on you,’ jake’s cheesy line followed. by now, you were used to it. and what used to make you cringe now made your heart warm with love for him.

‘you really think so?’ he just nodded, making you grin.

you hooked your arm around his instead as you continued your walk down the path through the woods. the sound of a twig snapping beneath someone’s foot came from behind you, making you spin around. meanwhile jake literally jumped out of fear, knocking your arm and making you drop the leash. panicked, you set off running after layla while your scaredy cat boyfriend scanned the trees for any sign of danger.

the chase after his dog was cut short once you found her sniffing a tree, all of your worries washing away. you caught your breath and picked up the leash, turning to see jake slowly walking towards you. he was still shaken up, making you burst out laughing.

‘you’re such a wimp,’ you laughed breathlessly. ‘you were standing there fearing for your life while i was chasing—’

you were cut off by another twig snapping just behind you, making you gasp in surprise. your arm was tugged away from the source of the sound as the two of you set off running.

‘let’s never do this again,’ you could only nod in agreement.

two months ago, the argument between riki and jungwon had taken place. it was never resolved, and you were starting to hate it. although you hadn’t see jungwon much before the fall out because of his badly timed confession, it sucked that now you didn’t even have the chance to hang out with him anymore.

it wasn’t riki’s fault. he told you he didn’t mind if you wanted to spend time with jungwon, but the latter avoided you as often as he possibly could. in class he would focus intensely on his work, never sparing you a glance. at the common room, he would pack up his things and leave whenever you walked in.

now you spent a lot of time with the slytherin you called your boyfriend. the fight forced him to ask you out officially, claiming he didn’t want to lose you to somebody else. it was nice, getting closer to and more comfortable with each other, but it was weird to see him without jungwon. he’d always been with jungwon, even before you officially knew their names. they were best friends since first year, and you didn’t want to come between them.

‘this is… nice,’ you said in a hushed voice, looking around the slytherin common room. ‘it feels cold though, not physically but more like its atmosphere is uninviting.’

‘i said we could go to your common room instead,’ riki shrugged and took a seat on the black leather couch. ‘yours is homey and beautifully decorated.’

‘next time, we will,’ humming, you fell back against the comfort of the couch. well, it was more luxury than comfort. ‘it’s just awkward with jungwon around. do you think you guys will ever make up?’

‘i want to,’ he admitted, turning to press his back against the armrest so he could face you. ‘but i can’t get him to talk to me. i feel like we’ve passed the point of going back to normal.’

‘i’m sure that’s not true,’ you tried to comfort him, feeling his sadness and disappointment. ‘you just need to apologise and talk it out with him, i promise.’

in the months you had grown close to riki, you realised how much more complex he was. on the surface, he was just a young teenage boy. but underneath, he cared a great deal for his loved ones.

he remembered ridiculous details about you like your love for cats and which sweets you always picked at honeydukes. you wouldn’t think so, but it was true. by the way he simply nodded or hummed as you went into detail about how you’ve always wanted to try this and that, you couldn’t possibly expect him to surprise you the very next day with the exact thing you had been raving about.

then he had this playful side, wanting to try out new things with you like forbidden spells and petting thestrals. that side never failed to make you laugh and smile, finding his humour endearing and his constant chase for a thrill exciting and new. but even so you could see in his eyes how grateful he was for his immediate friends, and for you now, too.

clearly, this meant the whole not-talking thing with jungwon would not be treating him well. you hoped they’d come to their senses soon, and everything would be okay again.

‘we’ll talk eventually,’ he reassured. ‘but right now we’re supposed to be playing wizard’s chess, so let’s.’

‘only if you’re ready to lose to me,’ you shot back confidently, watching him pull out the set from the table just a few feet away. ‘i mastered the art of chess, both muggle and wizard.’

‘fine, loser has to buy the winner butterbeer until the school year is over,’ riki challenged, setting up the board as you moved to sit on the opposite side of the table. ‘deal?’

‘deal,’
