trying to draw enes for an event, how do you like the ideas i gave to her new looks ? i know it's not entirely new, but it's beacuse i descided her true new model will come once the chapter is done (spoilers.. she's gona have a cool cloak)

the thing abt mft!who (similar to bbc sher) is that i think it loves the source material, but not at face value. it feels like "oh it couldve been so good IF" [they had x resources or y storytelling etc] instead of "it was damn good as-is."

cuz i think there's a thin line between a) loving the source material and building upon it and b) respecting the source material and updating it. the former's main focus is on "what could've been" while the latter "yes, and"s.

First pic was reffed from My Own Private Idaho, which ended up being a really bad idea because this focal length was ridiculous to try and flatten out and match with the others lol

Second pic was obvi The Pieta by Michelangelo, but shoutout to my partner for suggesting the role reversal cause I was initially gonna draw Viktor in Jayce's arms again, but having it the other way around gave me the idea for the last piece where they're mutually in each other's arms and on equal ground in the composition

Third pic was reffed from The Blossoming Of Love by Miquel Blay! Had to move Jayce's hand to Viktor's shoulder because he was too yolked for his arm to fit between them lmao

Remember I was going to show the story board for the comic so far? Yeah my ass lazyed out for a moment but I have it right here

(disclaimer: I haven't written down on the story board, any of the lines they'd say so I'll translate what's going on here)

While Enes and ciden got the message from James and they started digging their way to the location of the key, mike and Cain were on the same boat, as they were thousands of blocks away from them, but not from their destination, the villargers of a close by town who knew storys abojt their destinantion gave them a map to go underground, mike ends up falling thruh a bunch of unstable boards from a ravine

This ends up making him fall down painfully.... But he ends up getting just as close to his objective then he thought

And just as he got there... So did the bad guys who seem to arive at a gigantic door that stands before them, made out of polished dark stone and metal, and with a giant lock with a stat on it, ciden descides to climb over and say what he sees

Upon arrival ciden haz a horizon of our heros new place to see....welcome...to the abandoned/forgotten motrpolis (haven't finished drawing that one)

And so far this is the story board of what I'm drawing to draw on the computer.
