We're in Ireland right now, and as always when abroad we're looking for all the energy drinks we haven't had the chance to try yet. Our first try at Tesco was an absolute failure, as we couldn't find any brands we didn't know. The only thing we found was Lucozade, but, DEBUNK TIME: Lucozade is NOT an energy drink according to our criteria, as it doesn't contain any taurine. It's a scam. Luckily, our second try went better and we found out about ENERGISE, an Irish energy drink brand. We tried 2 of them.
ENERGISE ENERGY DEADLY ORIGINAL : Nothing to see here... It's a classic, bringing nothing new to the game, but every brand needs one. I have to admit, it's more a classic - than a classic +. It doesn't beat THE actual classics, like the Rockstar Original or the Black Cat. It's mid. Unlike the next one. 2.5/5 stars
ENERGISE ENERGY SAVAGE CREAM SODA : Beautiful packaging, with great details. Apparently it's an hommage to the love of the proud people of Ireland for ice cream cones. Good for them! We were intrigued and curious, as the only other ice cream flavoured "energy drink" we've tried before came from the despicable people of the USA, in the form of the horrible PRIME ICE POP, which faithful followers will remember. Now, for our first taste of the Savage cream soda. Here is the complete transcription of my gf's reaction as she opened the can: "CATASTROPHIC SMELL - what is happening???? Listen, at least it's new. [takes a sip] UGH??????". But after this complicated start, she was actually enthusiastic. She said "it's giving Vanilla YOP", and I personally couldn't place it exactly, but I know it's reminding me of a tase from my childhood, so it has a nostalgic feeling for me. The classic energy drink taste base is here, but it's completely transformed by the vanilla flavour. It's new, it's exciting, it's kind of good, or at least drinkable. For this, I give it the beautiful score of 3.5/5 stars.

energy drinks are either called something like Gummy Candy (tastes like acid and sugar) or Spring Lemon (tastes completely indescribable and is maybe a genuine use case for sommeliers)

Well, you said you didn't mind if you were asked for headcanons, so… you opened Pandora's box, damn it :)) There are a couple of funny things that I would like to share.
1) I have a headcanon that Ronan has a bunch of like. ABSOLUTELY. SUDDEN. SKILLS. Usually these are some simple casual things, but they belong to such different areas and professions that Eli simply does not understand what a person’s life should have been like so that he could do all this at the same time, and not just one or two things.
2) People mostly talk about how Ronan and Krennic could communicate with each other, but I really like to think about one guy, Pterro, too. This is Krennic's aide-de-camp and personal pilot, he was in the Rogue One novelization. Almost nothing is known about him in canon, except that he is madly in love with his shuttle and named it "Pteradon", God, how cute it is)) But in fanon, his image was fixed as a reliable and calm guy, and I like to assume that he really was. I've had a hc for a long time that for Ronan and Krennic, he was someone you could always turn to for support, talk about how everyone is nasty, and laugh at stupid Tarkin, knowing that he would always lend a shoulder and never to anyone will not tell a word from what he heard.
I thought it was funny enough cute nonsense to share :))
YESSS RONAN HEADCANONS!!! *takes them in my arms and cradles them gently* Ronan headcanons are always welcome in this house. There's no such thing as too much Ronan headcanons.
Oh my god I love the first one so much!! I can just imagine Eli being completely baffled learning that Ronan can sew and then play Sabacc like a pro the same night 😂 My personal hedcanon is that Eli is a self-taught master sommelier because his parents used to get bottles of wine as gifts from their clients all the time so now I can see unusual skills as something they have in common. But seriously though, I'm curious, what kind of skills do you see Ronan having?
Okay, I saw this ask before I left for my trip and it single-handedly convinced me to get the Rogue One novel 😂 Now I'm itching to start reading it (I only have two other books to finish first) and it's funny because I haven't even seen the film yet. You got me hooked on the idea, my friend.
Pterro sounds like such a chill guy, I want to take him out for a drink! He sounds like he has a top notch sense of humor too. I don't know enough about Krennic yet, planning to fix that very soon though, I love collecting imperial boys, but calm and reliable is just the kind of friend Ronan would appreciate. With how high energy he is, someone chill is the perfect type of buddy for him.
Also Pteradon... I want to hug this man, that is so cute. Thank you for these, they're fantastic!

Prongsfoot Week 2023 - Day 6
Thoughts for this Ship?
This turned into Still More Detailed Headcanons, but--
SFW
Who cooks? » James has the most experience and likes doing it: His mother (and father!) like to cook - Muggle cookery is basically potioneering, right? - so James grew up in the kitchen with them as much as in the garden or his dad's atelier, though he started making a concerted effort to get better and broaden his repertoire after he and Sirius became friends and he realized that Sirius just looked at eating as a necessity. (James has a lot of energy and an appetite to match, thankfully his metabolism keeps up.) James used to sneak off to the kitchens and get the house-elves to let him use it while they were in school, then Sirius insisted on joining him and James taught him to cook. James still does most of the cooking, but Sirius has a decent number of basic-but-tasty food in his catalog and a few signature dishes he breaks out for special occasions. Sirius is the drinks specialist and a talented amateur mixologist (and once went undercover as a sommelier for an Order mission).
Who’s the messiest? The cleanest? » Neither of them are particularly one or the other: James is casual by nature and doesn't especially like tidying, but he starts to hear his mother's voice giving reminders after a while, so he cleans regularly. Sirius is intentionally messy for a long time because his parents' home was always rigidly tidy, everything in its place, and it was only in his teens that he was able to threaten the house-elves into leaving his room alone, if nowhere else. He feels a little guilty watching James do all the cleaning, so he pitches in and the 'intentionally messy' part eases up over time.
Who fixes the vehicle after a breakdown? » Sirius, of course. James happily volunteers to help, but he's… not adept with Muggle machinery, so he settles in to hand Sirius tools and get drinks and towels and such. James secretly loves watching Sirius work, and after they get together he not-at-all-secretly loves it. James lets Sirius focus, but he's eager to shower praise and kisses and maybe more immediately afterward, grease and engine oil be damned.
Living space has a leak! Who fixes it? » They both… try. And they manage to jury-rig a temporary fix, but the first few times require a specialist (and in a couple cases they make the problem worse when they try to fix it beyond the patch). Neither of them can stand to be actively bad at something, so they dig into it until they can do these repairs themselves.
Who buys the groceries? » They like to shop together, even though each knows the other's tastes; it feels so domestic and they discuss upcoming meals, etc. I HC them as having busy careers, but James retires first and becomes a stay-at-home homemaker, so if Sirius is working James goes shopping on his own and is surprisingly organized about it all; if they have kids, James takes them and the trip takes twice as long, but James loves it because everyone's cooing over the children.
Going out to eat: Who pays? Who orders the most food? And who has dessert? » When they first start going out, it was a competition to see who could pay the bill first; as they get used to it, especially after they move in together/marry, it doesn't really matter and they take turns paying, unless one is taking the other somewhere as a surprise or something. James usually orders more because he generally has a bigger appetite, but he usually winds up feeding Sirius from his plate so it's not as much as you'd think. They both order dessert, though James is unashamed about his sweet tooth and Sirius prefers more subdued or bittersweet options, like tiramisu; they wind up sharing, so again it doesn't matter much.
Would they go to the beach? » Yes, because James loves it, and Sirius is willing to indulge him even if he hates the sand getting everywhere and the sun is his enemy. James knows this and makes it up to him, applying sunblock over every inch of skin (even after a sunshade potion, can never be too careful!), and at least Sirius gets to enjoy the sight of James emerging from the surf all wet and glistening and shaking water from his hair like a Bond Girl.
Who knows how to swim? Who doesn’t? » They're both strong swimmers, though if left to their own devices James is an athletic swimmer who loves to get his energy out while Sirius is all elegant and unhurried. Together, they start start splash fights and try to shove each other underwater, but it all ends in laughter and, after they're a couple, in kissing; they never lose this playfulness, and wherever they end up living either has a pool or is close to swimmable water.
Is someone multilingual? Do they try to teach another language to the other? How does it go? » They're both multilingual in the standard Romance languages as well as Classical Latin and Greek, because Aristocratic Pureblood Traditions (and the latter two form the basis of most magic texts). Monty and Effie were much more lax with their baby boy, so James is more conversational while Sirius, trained under the watchful eye of Walburga and a parade of tutors, is more technically adept and precise, though he's otherwise fluent enough to sound like a native speaker. When they're young, James teaches Sirius slang (and swear words) in the languages they share; James loves listening to Sirius in other languages, so Sirius does the majority of speaking when they travel (ordering, making reservations, etc).
Any pets? Or plants? » I see them getting at least one or two pets; I HC James as a cat person rather than a dog person, and when Sirius finds out after they become Animagi, he feels totally betrayed. (It's because cats are prickly and don't trust easily, but once won over, can be incredibly loyal and love curling up with their chosen human… so they remind James of Sirius.) Alternately, they become the best-loved house in the neighborhood by all the strays and wandering pets. James loves plants, thanks to his parents, and has a garden if possible and window-boxes if not, both magical and mundane.
Baths or showers? Together or separate? Any bubbles or bubble fights? » As much as they love to take luxurious baths together in a tub that's just big enough for both, they usually don't have time, so usually they shower separately, though sometimes one slips in with the other in the morning and they start the day right, or end it well with a shower together before bed. Sometimes it's just kissing and washing each other's hair and being there for each other. They definitely take bubble baths, which start playful and end romantic/sexy, or the other way around.
Can they stand silence? Who talks the most? Who talks the least? » Yes, if they're just being with each other, almost always lying together or otherwise in contact. James talks the most while Sirius talks less, but they almost always have something to say to each other; they usually revert into the talks more/talks less thing in front of others, since Sirius doesn't like casual conversation with people and James picks up the slack. On the rare occasions when they're fighting, both hate the silence because Sirius is so used to James filling it and James hates the fact that Sirius knows he's hurt when Sirius shuts him out but does it anyway. It's very painful and usually only happens in the very beginning when they're trying to figure out any transitions from BFFs to lovers, but might happen if there's a sudden crisis that they have very strong opposing opinions on.
Who stays up late? Who sleeps the most? Does the other have to force them to sleep/wake up? » Sirius is a night owl, James is an early riser, though both love waking up together: Before they started sleeping together (platonically or otherwise), Sirius would often fall asleep at his desk/on the couch/wherever, but afterward he makes it a point to fall asleep beside James. If Sirius does pass out on the couch, James goes to find him and then falls asleep with him. James sometimes has to persuade Sirius to come to bed just to make sure he gets adequate rest, and Sirius sometimes has to coax James out of the warm blankets, but they actually like doing it so they don't mind.
Who is the highest maintenance? Does the other mind? » Sirius is, because while James grew up spoiled (and does love getting his way), Sirius has Issues that shaped him into a very complex person; many of the more hurtful edges get smoothed out by time, effort and James' unwavering support, but there's still some that Sirius has to manage. Fortunately, James doesn't care: He's there for Sirius, however messy it may be, and they grow together into a more stable whole.
Vacation ideas: who decides them? Where would they go, if anywhere? » They go on vacation when they can, and I see them traveling for a while, especially after Hogwarts in a no Voldemort/no Jily timeline. Initially it's not really one or the other deciding, it's more like one says "How about X?" or "I always wanted to see Y" and the other enthusiastically agrees. They love seeing and experiencing new things together, but they're also both huge saps (albeit deep, deep down for Sirius) and love revisiting places that hold good memories for them. If it's a touristy place, James goes full tacky shirts-and-giant colorful drinks, while Sirius rolls his eyes but can't be too annoyed because James is having so much fun (and makes sure Sirius has fun, too). If one or both is stressed and they need an escape, I see them as going somewhere isolated and surrounded by nature, where they can just escape into their own private world for a while.
NSFW
How often do they have sex, if at all? » Daily is common, depending on how busy their schedules are and what else is going on, whether it's a quick mutual handjob in the morning shower or slow, sleepy sex before they pass out in bed together. It tapers off a little as they get older and if/when they have kids, but their sex life is an active one.
Who brings ideas? Who initiates? » Both, and both! Most of the time it's Sirius with the ideas, not because he finds their usual (relatively) vanilla sex boring but because he's always interested in new ways for him and James to enjoy each other. Sirius and James initiate sex more-or-less equally, with James often using it to coax Sirius out of his own head/dark moods and Sirius ambushing James when words aren't enough to express how much he adores him.
Any kinks they clash on? » Not really, though I see James as needing to be eased into some of the kinkier ones; fortunately they're both excellent at intuiting each other's interests, though they do have more actual discussion after they grow up a bit.
Oddest place they’d have sex? » In an alleyway, for the mundane option, but they've absolutely done it under the Invisibility Cloak while on assignment for the Order, probably in the same room with the Death Eaters they were sent to spy on.
Favourite positions? » They've got a few, but both like eye-contact during sex, physically or indirectly, ex. via a mirror, and they both get good at having sex standing up so they can have each other against/over just about anywhere.
Dom/top? Sub/bottom? Any switches? » They're both switches, but Sirius doms and tops more often, which James is more than happy with because he loves being Sirius' sole focus and Sirius loves it when James just starts babbling his praises, knowing he's the only one who can make James feel that way. When James tops, he's usually a total service top; sometimes Sirius can be bossy when he bottoms, other times he lets go completely and James just lavishes him with attention and affirmation.
Genital headcanons? » They're both generously endowed, though not cartoonishly so, and to their teenage disappointment they're about the same size, thickness, etc so neither has bragging rights, though each still insists (half-seriously) he's bigger.
Favourite erogenous zones? » James is extremely sensitive at the nape of his neck and the small of his back, so even a light puff of air against his nape or the pressure of Sirius' hand on his back can turn him on; Sirius really likes the feeling of James' hands in his hair, with James lightly dragging his nails across Sirius' scalp.
Quickest turn ons? Immediate turn offs? » Quickest turn-on: Whispering intimately into each other's ear while pressing up against him. Nothing gets Sirius going like James describing everything he wants to do to Sirius/wants Sirius to do to him in that teasing-yet-needy voice, and James goes weak in the knees when Sirius intersperses soft kisses to his ear and neck with murmured descriptions of how much he adores James and how wonderful he is and how it makes Sirius want to do the filthiest things with him. Turn-offs… They wouldn't bring up any fetishes they aren't mutually interested in, so it'd probably be mention of relatives (no Daddy kink here) or mentions of anyone else during their time together… with the rare exception being Sirius in a particularly possessive mood, when he gets off on other people wanting James but being the only one who can have him, and James absolutely loves Sirius being possessive of him.
First to orgasm? Last to orgasm? Who comes the most? Does someone ever end up unfinished? » James usually finishes first, not because he lacks stamina - he's actually got a lot of that - but because Sirius usually focuses on bringing James off while holding back himself. James does have a remarkably short refractory period and can have multiple orgasms in fairly quick succession, which Sirius regularly exploits until James is absolutely wrung out in the best possible way. Otherwise, they usually come together or very close together. Neither leaves the other unsatisfied unless it's denial play or something, in which case the 'lucky' victim is usually James.
Favourite romantic gestures during sex/orgasm? » Sirius leaves love-bites all over James, mostly hidden under clothes but usually with one more prominent mark that can be seen/might be seen, like higher on the neck/on the nape; during orgasm, they both love hand-holding, if the position allows. Sirius is a little shy about it in the very beginning because it feels like such an intimate act, so James reaches for Sirius' hand first, but that shyness is very very brief and then they both just unabashedly love it, fingers intertwined as they come down from the climax. Sirius likes to kiss James' knuckles before they let go, which makes James melt.
How are their afterglows? » Lengthy, languid and extremely satisfying, especially since their sex tends to be… vigorous... leaving just enough energy to cast a cleansing charm or two (of course they're both proficient in wandless magic!) before they settle in for cuddles and hair-stroking and soft kisses. It's when Sirius can be his softest, and James jokes that he only gets that way after James gives him orgasms.
Who’s loud? Who’s quiet? Does one try to make the other louder/quieter? How? » James is usually louder, moans and talks a lot and is a natural at dirty talk because he's just saying what he's thinking; a lot of what comes out of James' mouth during sex is praise, which Sirius finds really hot. Sirius likes to be more measured/controlled during sex, so when he starts to lose it he generally stops talking except for the occasional word or fragment. This switches during really intense sex, when Sirius takes over the talking, praising James, etc and James can't do much besides whimper.
Lights on or off? Do they look at each other? Or is someone embarrassed? » Depends on the place, time and mood; they like no or very low light so they can focus on experiencing each other sensually, but for certain positions/kinks it's better if it's better-lit so they can enjoy the view. They're both a little embarrassed to look at each other at first because Sirius is self-conscious about losing control and James by how easily he falls apart, but they get over that fast; Sirius in particular loves watching James during sex, which he can do so intently that James sometimes gets embarrassed again and hides his face with his arm or a pillow, but Sirius can always coax James into looking at him.
Open or closed relationship? Do they sometimes share? » Absolutely closed, James' insecurity would skyrocket otherwise and Sirius might actually murder anyone else who might be getting intimate with James. The only possible exception is if Sirius is sharing James with Lily, but in this case James is the hinge and it's Prongsfoot + Jily rather than Jilypad.

As the only true low calorie energy beverage sommelier, are you able to give me a recommendation as to which drink would pair best with a Big Mac?
My overall recommendation is that energy drinks and food don't mix, but that's me. I also don't especially like mixing food with beer or other alcohol.
In this case, I'd say go for something with a very strong flavor to get the Big Mac sauce flavor out of your mouth. Perhaps GFUEL Tetris Blast, the worst-tasting energy drink I've encountered thus far, would help for this.

BACKGROUND;
TW: n/a. ● Nixie's parents met unexpectedly on a ship that her mother was traveling on and her father was working on. It was love at first sight and within four months they were married and Nixie's birth followed an additional seven months later. ● Due to her parents work, they never truly had a set home. Instead, she spent her childhood traveling on ships or boats and visiting exotic and beautiful locations, staying in everything from hostels to hotels and rented out rooms. ● Their education came mostly in the form of homeschooling and lessons taught both by their mother and the various women who helped raise and shape them throughout their childhood, most of their knowledge (and the things that piqued their interest) not coming from the things found in a textbook or classroom. ● It was throughout their travels that they became increasingly aware of the impact of global warming, particularly on the places that they loved to much, and in hopes to make a more impactful change going forward, they enrolled in Ogden. ● They definitely do care about their education and being able to help, but being as wild as they are, Nixie struggles with actually attending classes and staying on top of their assignments, something she too often has to be reminded about.
BIOGRAPHY;
TW: n/a. It had to have been fate that allowed their paths to cross, no coincidence that the ship she wasn’t have meant to have been on broke down while in his zone, that she’d wandered out of her room and into directly into him. It was love at first sight, two people destined for each other, a romance that others might try to simplify but the Linghui’s refuse to view it so plainly. It took a mere four months before they were tying the knot, a wedding some called shotgun soon after the fact, but the child growing inside of Carley was unbeknownst to them at the time, a welcome surprise when that beautiful baby arrived seven months later. To say that Nixie's upbringing was unorthodox would still be managing to down play it. She may have been born in Funafuti but it was never home, pulled to the seas before she was even a year old. In fact, home wasn't a word that they identified in the traditional sense — home was people, it was a feeling, no set place that ever been able to hold them. Nixie spent their time drifting; beaches and islands, boats and ships, oceans and villages that so few people got to experience. There was a plethora of time spent under the watchful eye of local women, incredible elders from varying backgrounds who’d lived and seen so much more than her, who shared their wisdom and stories and helped shape her. Of course, home schooling was mandatory, even with no singular home it was important she learn — and although they passed, it was no easy task, mind drifting and focus elsewhere, always feeling they could experience and learn more from the world around them than any book. While the past two decades have allowed them to experience beautiful and exotic places, they've also forced them to be witness to the suffering of the world — particularly of small islands, populations that have lived there for centuries and are often putting the least strain on the environment, remaining most affected by it. It’s why she’s journeyed to Ogden, the stillest she’s ever been and for the longest extent of time, leaving her skin itching for change. Nixie wants to learn and help the places and people that have come to be so important to her, but don’t be surprised if you find her arriving to class late or not at all, wandering the hiking trails while the skies are dark or laying on the water for so long people begin to worry she’s merely a body.
EXPAND ON HOW THEY EMBODY THEIR SKELETON TROPE;
For perhaps anyone who's appreciated an iteration of Hamlet, the visual is clear — long, disheveled hair and bare feet, clad in a dress and often pictured amidst flowers and water. It's not just the visual of her that takes people's mind to that place, however. They display the same childlike naivety, as if entirely unaware of the harsh realities of the word, a mind that it seems has taken a step away from the real world while at the same instant, holds gently onto secrets that no one else may ever may be privy to the knowledge of. At times it's unclear if Nixie is plagued by an invisible illness or merely not of this world, questions that her unwillingness to answer acts to make her all the more bewitching.
RELATIONSHIP TO GREER;
Their first encounter was unexpected and the ones that followed were even more so. Nixie was an almost impossible person to pin down, floating around with her parents like a piece of drift wood lost to the sea. It was thanks to the beautiful locations that their work took them that she was privy to many experiences most her age were not so lucky to enjoy. The couple may not have been able to afford the luxury of the vacation homes and resorts that the Morrison family could, but the ocean and it's mainland were things trickier to lay claim upon. The same beach at the same time, together and yet somehow worlds apart — though to an outside eye, it seemed the pair were either unaware or unaffected by that reality.

Unforgettable Bachelorette Party Themes: Ideas for Every Bride-to-Be
Introduction:
When it comes to planning a bachelorette party, the options are endless. It’s a celebration of the bride-to-be’s last days as a single woman, so it’s important to make it special and memorable. One way to do that is by choosing a unique and exciting theme that reflects the bride’s personality and interests. Whether she’s a laid-back beach lover or a glam queen who loves to sparkle, there’s a bachelorette party theme out there for everyone.
Tropical Paradise:
Transport the bride and her squad to a tropical oasis with a luau-themed bachelorette party. Think Hawaiian shirts, leis, fruity cocktails, and tiki torches. You can host the party at a beach resort or even in your backyard with some creative decorations. Don’t forget to add a splash of color with tropical flowers and serve delicious island-inspired cuisine
Glamorous Gatsby:
Step back in time to the roaring twenties with a Great Gatsby-themed bachelorette party. Encourage guests to dress in flapper dresses and dapper suits, and set the scene with art deco decor, champagne towers, and jazz music. This glamorous theme is perfect for brides who love all things vintage and elegant.
Boho Chic:
For the free-spirited bride who loves nature and whimsy, a boho chic bachelorette party is the way to go. Think dreamcatchers, flower crowns, and plenty of fringe and lace. Host the party outdoors in a scenic location like a garden or a rustic barn, and incorporate activities like flower crown making or a DIY craft station.
Wine Tasting Adventure:
If the bride is a wine enthusiast, why not plan a bachelorette party centered around wine tasting? Take a trip to a nearby vineyard or winery for a day of sampling delicious wines and learning about the winemaking process. You can also hire a sommelier to lead a private tasting session at home or at a rented venue.
Hollywood Glamour:
Roll out the red carpet for the bride-to-be with a Hollywood glamor-themed bachelorette party. Encourage guests to dress like movie stars and decorate with gold accents, velvet ropes, and plenty of sparkle. You can even hire a photographer to capture all the glitz and glamor of the evening.
Around the World:
Take the bride on a culinary journey around the world with an international-themed bachelorette party. Set up food stations featuring cuisine from different countries, decorate with flags and travel-inspired decor, and play music from around the globe. It’s a fun and festive way to celebrate the bride’s adventurous spirit.
Game Night Extravaganza:
For a low-key but still entertaining bachelorette party, consider hosting a game night extravaganza. Set up a variety of games like charades, trivia, and board games, and provide plenty of snacks and drinks to keep the energy up. You can even create a custom game based on the bride’s interests and experiences.
Fitness Fiesta:
If the bride is health-conscious or loves to stay active, why not plan a fitness-themed bachelorette party? Sign up for a fun fitness class like yoga, Zumba, or a dance workout, and follow it up with a healthy brunch or smoothie bar. It’s a great way to bond with the bride and her squad while breaking a sweat.
Conclusion:

CALL OUT POST: Prime
So after months (years?) of anticipation, I finally found 2 bottles of Prime, the new energy drink by Logan Paul. The only bottles I could find in France were 15€ and my dedication to the craft doesn't go that far. Today, I managed to buy 2 bottles of Prime because I wanted to give an honest review of this alpha male creation. The flavours I tried were Lime, which is usually a safe bet in the energy drink world and Ice Pop, which sounded horrible and stupid from the start. I will make a joint review for these two flavours as they don't deserve any detailed account.
Prime Lemon Lime and Prime Ice Pop: It SUCKS!!!! I can barely believe how much it sucks. I was ready to separate the art from the artist and give a positive review if it deserved it, but this is such a major scam I can only condemn both. And yeah, just like for people who buy Tesla and die in them, you could ask me: what did you expect? But unlike electric cars, energy drinks are NOT that hard to engineer!!! The fact that there are dozens of energy drink brands that basically taste the same is proof of this. So what went wrong here? I can only imagine that Logan Paul thought he was different and not like the other boys, and could change the classic recipe for something totally new and unexpected. Well maybe it's new and unexpected because it sucks and no one ever wanted this.
First problematic moment: there's no taurine in Prime. I'm honestly appalled? I don't even know what the reasoning behind this was??? I'm guessing this is basically false advertising, because Prime is sold next to other energy drinks in stores and is advertised like an energy drink, but as there's no taurine in it, it technically isn't one. I looked it up, and apparently there actually is a Prime energy drink with taurine in it, but it's not the one that's sold and advertised everywhere, so this is all just a lie. So this drink is worthless from the start. Still, as it's advertised as such, I will continue this energy drink review.
Second problematic moment: it's not carbonated. I don't know why I'd want an energy drink with no taurine and no sparkle in it. Maybe if I was someone who hated fun, pleasure and happiness?
Third problematic aspect: the taste is horrendous. The main ingredient is reconstituted coconut water, which doesn't sound very alpha male to me, and mixed with the artificial Lime flavour, it's a complete disaster. It smells exactly like dish soap. The Ice pop flavour was surprisingly marginally better, but in a way where I'd still rather drink puddle water.
Fourth problematic aspect: Mr. Logan Paul clearly wanted to imitate Monster and create a little story to put on his packaging and market his drink. I can appreciate that and I congratulate him for this endeavour. Unfortunately, you are not Monster, you can't be Monster, and you will never be Monster. The little message on the side of the drink is the sorriest little paragraph I've ever read. I quote:
"Prime was created for those that strive for iconic. To fill the void where bold, in-your-face flavor meets legendary experiences. Intense and refreshing, prime is the ultimate quencher to conquer your day. We're confident you'll live it as much as we do. Humbly, the Prime Team"
Everything about this is a) cringe b) a lie. "Strive for iconic"?????? I might be striving for it but I sure as fuck didn't find it in this bottle!!!!! What the hell does this even mean??? The flavour is NOT "in your face", it's actually not anywhere, because this bottle is actually just filled with coconut water and an absence where taurine should be. "The void" you're trying to fill is empty for a reason. The fact that you use "legendary" earnestly in a sentence like this as if you were living in 2011 and still talked about how epic the bro-code is is painful. I GUESS you can say Prime is kind of quenching since it's 90% water? But it won't help me conquer anything without taurine in it, Logan!!!! And finally, thank god you're "humble" about it because there is nothing to be proud of in this bottle.
In conclusion, what can I say? You can think I'm a hater and I only hate this because it's the Logang!!!! Drink, but I swear that this could have been a blind tasting and I still would have despised it. To show you how magnanimous and fair I am, the only thing I can compare it to is the Zero Ultra White Monster, the only Monster I hate and can't finish. It's kind of the same taste, but worst and stupid because it has no taurine and isn't carbonated. Obviously, both Prime I tasted are hard DNF, same for my gf, who can be more forgiving that me.
This drink is a shame to the energy drink world, it doesn't deserve to be part of it, and it shouldn't exist. 0/5 stars, a mess from start to finish.

Achieving Eco Friendly Tourism on Aruba Island
By some accounts, Aruba is a top travel destination for a wide range of travelers, including families. It provides clear blue seas, radiant sunshine, beautiful beaches, and several sailing opportunities. In 2015, the island made plans to shift toward sustainable tourism.
The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) has led the sustainability growth efforts. For example, it collaborated with Certified Water Sommelier Martin Riese to establish “Paradise on Tap,” encouraging individuals to pay more attention to and appreciate the island’s pure tap water. The efforts have turned Aruba’s tap water into one of the best in the world. Sourced directly from the Caribbean Sea, the water remains safe to drink. After the water undergoes a series of sustainable treatment processes, Water Sommelier Martin Riese describes the result as “one of the best” waters he has tasted worldwide.
In addition, the ATA has made several efforts to safeguard and preserve the island’s ecosystems for future generations. The island prioritizes ensuring an eco-friendly tourist environment that attracts eco-conscious visitors. For instance, the ATA encourages tourists to use reusable water bottles during their visits to reduce the amount of plastic waste in the sea.
Similarly, the ATA encourages tourists to replace single-use plastic with reusable plates, bags, and straws. For instance, tourists can opt for reusable alternatives like silicon straws, bamboo, and stainless steel instead of plastic straws.
Further, Aruba has sailboats with zero emissions. On January 21, 2021, Prof. Dr. Wubbo Ockels sailed to the Renaissance Mariana on a zero-emission boat called The Ecolution with his crew. The Ecolution was the first zero-emission boat to arrive in Aruba. This, along with the arrival of several other zero-emission boats, has marked Aruba as one of the most eco-friendly boat-sailing destinations in the world.
Aruba also treats its visitors to more sustainable tourist activities that help them connect with the island's flora and fauna. For instance, visitors can enjoy natural bee experience tours. Visitors can experience Aruba’s local bee population and tenacity, which helps them thrive in the island’s arid climate. The tour helps tourists see how the bees support Aruba’s ecosystem and the island’s wildlife.
Next, the island destination offers visitors more eco-friendly accommodation options. The ATA issues Tavelife or Green Certificates to hotels or accommodations that have shown commitment to environmentally friendly practices like water and energy conservation. When tourists book their accommodations, they can look for the certificate. For example, Buccuti and Tara Beach Resort, an adults-only resort, implemented recycling programs, water conservation, and energy-efficient lighting. It stands as the first resort to become carbon neutral. The Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa participates in recycling, employs energy-efficient appliances, and uses solar panels for water heating.
Finally, the ATA encourages tourists to practice responsible wildlife encounters by instructing them to act responsibly and ethically. They discourage tourists from patronizing businesses that adopt unethical wildlife practices. They also encourage tourists to go with tour operators who value sustainability. They encourage tourists to choose tour operators who contribute to conservation efforts, support the local communities on the island, and use eco-friendly transportation.
