to be fair i just like complicated relationships with really dubious people. it’s even more fun when one or both has done heinous shit. the moral complexities sky rocket. i think radiohusk is especially fun in a context where alastor always thinks husk is the most interesting man he’s met, the one he finds most joy in interacting with. even as husk is just, oh man i need another drink

🙏 this is exactly how I like radiohusk also. Alastor having this fascination (maybe even obsession) with Husk and is why he keeps him around instead of doing away with him like other Overlords. I think Husk has also done some bad shit during his time and just mashing those two complex, fucked up pasts of both Alastor and Husk makes it so messy and intriguing. I like thinking they enable the worst in each other at times but are also the closest to companions they have. I think it's also why Husk was able to push Alastor's buttons in that hallway scene, digging at his secret that so far no one else knows of.

And I think it's a fun contrast when compared to how Alastor seems to detest Vox whenever he speaks of him, and instantly hating Lucifer on first sight, but with Husk he loves to tease and also get oddly touchy with even if in a demeaning way for Husk lol.
