Intro Post

Figured I might as well introduce myself lol.

I'm @indigo-brainspark on main (@indigosabyss is my fanworks blog) and this is my writing sideblog!!

I have a post-apocalyptic LitRPG serial on RoyalRoad which is linked here, but on Tumblr, I have two main ideas going on. Here's a link to a list of ideas I had going a while back!

KeyMates, which is a story about two psychics whose only ability is an unconscious mindlink that allows them to automatically find keys the other person is looking for, and the queerplatonic relationship they foster as they get through this world filled with assumptions of romance and expectations. Snippets of this are all over my blog, but the main story hasn't started yet, so... no link for that.

There is also Surviving Nulls, which I'm currently doing using the 'For the Love of...' snippets. The overall story is about a loveless aplaroace girl trying to learn magic in a system that says that all magic must be fostered out of relational love, and her battle against strange void-like creatures called Nulls who serve to steal human's magic and love because they are incapable of creating any of their own. Or at least, that's what she's told.

My friends are really supportive of these projects, and every so often you'll see something on here that they've drawn or helped edit. I'll get them to introduce themselves if this blows up lol.

Maybe this sounds like wishful thinking, but I want to make a living off writing eventually. But that's a long way coming. For now, here's my ko-fi for donations and my Patreon for early access.

Asadullah is from another dimension from the other four Party members. When he was a child, a Level 25 Djinn attacked his home, only to be contained in a set of bangles to be stored away forever. In a last-ditch effort to escape, the djinn called Asadullah towards it, coercing him into putting the bangles on.

Now forever connected to the djinn, he's given the power to turn into all types of felines, and takes up the responsibility to protect his home from outside threats, until finally the Console brought him into the Game.

I know it’s a bit early but I just couldn’t wait anymore. Endwalkers was by far my favorite gaming experience so far and expansion. It holds so many good memories from staying up at launch, traveling to Elpis, and eating mac and cheese during Endsinger. The message of hope helped me through some very dark times and I can’t thank it enough.

you take a quick detour to visit the angriest woman who's ever lived who calls you and everyone you're with a pointless dumbfuck moron shit idiot (affectionate). then she gives you a gun she invented that sharlayan banned for being too cool

theres a flying allagan war crimes factory full of broken robots who think you're stupid. an entire legion of garleans are abandoned here to form a feral colony with the escaped lab animals. the robots make fun of them

the dad of all the dragons on the whole planet calls you his favorite in front of his real child who he hasnt talked to in 4000 years

an evil wizard tries to get revenge on you for killing his cousin but the pope loads his soul into a bong and takes the fattest rip. the next time you meet him you mostly learn about how much his wife bullied him

estinien picks up a second eyeball. surprise development!: there is an angry dragon ghost living in the eyeballs

you watch two dragon brothers fight because one called the other's dead wife a foul and trifling hoe

you save your friend through the power of friendship, and littering. as soon as he feels better he jumps out of a window and doesnt talk to you for two years

Character Intro: Verity Monroe

The first chapter of EndWalkers is narrated through Verity Monroe. She appeared in the world through mysterious origins as a kid and was taken in by a woman named Eleanor Monroe. When the apocalypse hit, Eleanor vanished, leaving eleven year old Verity on her own.

Trying to make it alone, Verity quickly discovered the redsight that took control of her and puppeted her into acts of great violence. At first, she assumed this was an illness of sort, but upon entering the Game, she realizes that she was actually an Armageddon-Harbinger, programmed by the System to keep the Apocalypse going. This throws her mission to stop all Apocalypses into conflict, and forces her to conceal her nature from the rest of the group.
