My latest acquisition! And a PSA for first-time wood cane users

This lion design is from CG-Artis, the carved mermaid cane you can kinda-sorta see in the background is from Asterom. Both of these are Ukrainian artisan companies, I found them through their respective Amazon storefronts. The biggest difference between them is that CG-Artis canes have a fixed height (36") that either matches you or doesn't, and Asterom canes are custom-made to your measurements. Also CG-Artis uses ash, which is considerably lighter, so if you're nervous about wood being too heavy for you, they're good for that.

The Asterom mermaid was my first wood cane, and I'm so glad I found her, because all the other "mermaid" canes I found were like. Starbucks mermaids. Just a bust, and you couldn't see any tail to speak of except a vaguely-scaled handle (which of course is obscured by your hand, so what even is the point.)

Actually you know what I'm just going to sit here and plug both companies.

One other thing that distinguishes them is their metal accents (this one is on my bucket list)

Of Irminsul and the Wanderer

Spoilers for 3.2 Archon Quest and 3.3 Archon Quest Interlude.

If my understanding of Irminsul is correct, should not the Wanderer be able to wield Electro powers - or whatever powers he could wield as Scaramouche post-Dottore-unlocking-the-Seal?

Hear me out.

Irminsul, so far as I've understood, has no power to change events that have already occurred. This is why despite Scaramouche's attempt to do so, he could not erase himself from existence, nor could he bring back those people who had lost their lives. Likewise, Rukkhadevata could not erase herself from existence.

All changing Irminsul can influence is the memory of whatever you wish to change, not the events. The recorded remembrance can be modified or erased entirely. History can be rewritten, but not modified.

So when Scaramouche went into Irminsul to erase himself (which is essentially suicide, and is a really twisted moment, by the way) all he succeeds in doing is erasing the memory of himself.

What he did does not change.

Therefore, what happened to him does not change either. All his life experiences still happen, he still lived his entire life the same way, only he - and everyone he met or came across - no longer remembers it.

He still joined the Fatui. He still went to the Abyss time and time again and was repaired and made stronger. Dottore still unlocked the seals on his divine power.

Now, if Wanderer had remained as Wanderer, it would be understandable that nothing much would come of that, as he does not know anything of this power (presumably? or in any case, he would most likely not have tried to access it?). But in the state he is in now, with all of Scaramouche/The Balladeer's memories returned to him, he knows. He knows how to wield that power and how to access it.

So technically he should be able to duel-wield Electro and Anemo.

Obviously he wouldn't do that, as he has an Anemo vision so wielding Electro is questionable - it would likely mean Delusion but he doesn't even have a Delusion so it would most likely just raise uncomfortable questions - but that is a lot of possibilities for the headcanons, is it not?

And the fanworks. Electro-Scara merged with Anemo-Wanderer.

On another note, I find the fact that the Raiden Shogun not having voice-lines for the Wanderer anymore rather messed up. Now that his reputation as Kunikuzushi/Scaramouche/Balladeer is forgotten, it's like.. she forgot she even created him. Even the Wanderer before memories returning to him knows he is her creation - the memory of this has obviously not been altered. To me, it's like he meant so little to Ei that if it weren't for his notoriety (that she forgot about) he doesn't even exist to her.

Gundam Wing: Endless Duel fun fact: Tallgeese - true to its name - is tall. Most mobile suits have a vulcan attack that can be dodged by ducking. Tallgeese gets hit even when it tries to crouch! Blame the helmet I guess
