my endermen headcanons (don't like if you're not going to reblog)

I’ve decided to do some illustrations based off of this post, and first up is enderfolk!

Note: I unthinkingly sign things as my main account all the time so don’t mind that lol it is actually my art

Endlets are born completely helpless - blind, nearly deaf, unable to walk (even on all fours), and unable to thermoregulate. Upon hatching their fur is pale yellow & spotted, and their eyes are a dull lavender.

Once their eyes open, endlets’ fur becomes downy & fluffy. At this point they are much softer than adults are. Once endlings are fully mobile their coat starts to darken and they begin developing stripes.

Endlets hatch with fully-formed pearls, which are too big to fit in their chests. The pearl is partially exposed and vulnerable, but as they get older scales will grow over the pearl, encasing it by the time their coats turn black & they start to become independent.

Endlets grasp onto adults’ tails to avoid getting lost or straying from the protection of their guardians.

Enderfolk typically only lay one or two eggs at a time. However, once their endlets are old enough to leave the burrow, enderfolk will often rear their young communally. Often one adult will end up with a long train of unrelated endlets trailing after them.

Made it at 3 am, spent like half an hour drawing a night background, hated it, deleted it, fixed the lineart to white and here you have it.

Minecraft makes me happy and calm. Idk what is it about it. I use creative mode to build like crazy cities and I can only play survival on easy mode, bc I'm a nervous mess.

Rotating my AU like rotating crops for the season. Anyways, the AU before another outstation is how to babysit your enderdragon au! One of the cutest baby ahem I mean His Majesty out there!

The lore that has never been shared about this AU is that enderdragon!Dream is a mix of admin code and enderdragon! So yes, he is absolutely capable of creating chaos when he wants to. Also XD absolutely adores him.

When I was about 14 I thought Endermen were so cool and I'd give them tragic Greek backstories and I wanted to be their friend so bad. They're just existing. They don't like eye contact. They hold blocks just because they can and destroy public property like the god intended. They get overwhelmed and rampage out of their control and probably wonder why there's blood on their hands.
