All sorts of content may be just various "wonderful ripples in the ocean of fandom", but in comparison, canon content is more often than not a cliff breaking off into the ocean, causing a flood elsewhere. Obviously, not everyone is gonna like that (duh). And to a lot of people in the fandom, the canon comics about Zuko & family specifically (The Search, S&S) are just that and a huge pile of salt.
Ah, you do make a point, Anon… but that’s where Ray’s trusty cynicism would come in. Nobody’s turned it into a flood but the fans themselves.
And in this is introduced another metaphorical wave: one of fandom culture. As the tide bends, so too does our collective opinion.
Following the end of Book Three, a full stop was stamped with the last endcrawl. This made anything after it an extension, not a continuation. We came away from AtLA having our own versions of the off-screen happy ending cozied in our hearts, each incredibly personal. Plenty of interpretations of canon exist, as you haven’t failed to mention - this nebulous reality separates what’s given to us from what we make of it. There are, simply, three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth. And in fiction, the line is blurred even more. What’s true in fiction?
It’s my belief that canon has never told you what to ship, who to root for, where to go next - it’s only presented the original tale, a foundation to build on or punch holes in to your heart’s content.
Did Kataang stop the rise of various Aang and Katara pairings - or entire, sprawling events in their honor? Did the heroic framing of the Gaang stop us from enjoying the company of villains and cheering on their monologues just the same? You have the dang remote controller in your hand - do you dictate how many times you fixate on one episode for all your OTP’s crumbs of interaction? Or is Avatar Studios policing that, too…?
So who’s telling you to rewatch it in strict, logical order? Who’s telling you canon is set in stone, that any addition to it is a massive tidal wave sent to wipe out how you explore and construe it?
The moment post-war content diverged from that secret ending stashed in our hearts, all hell broke loose. The Legend of Korra was disparaged en masse (re: Diet Coke Zuko) while others found their favorite characters and pairings in a world that earned the fandom majority’s thumbs-down. So quick to judge, and so belated to the celebration of revival. And, yes, The Search. S&S.
It’s not my favorite, either - yet a similar wave of peer pressure seems to have swallowed the idea of cracking open a volume with our own expectations above a looming negative review, heaven forbid an open mind. It’s hard to find any merit because, brick by brick of “I hate what they did to Mai”, “I hate what they did to Kataang”, “I hate what they did to Azula”, “I hate X, Y, Z”, we’ve made it incredibly difficult, almost impossible, to see canon as nothing short of a Bryke-sent battering ram. What we’ve got in the end is a giant, useless wall. (Oh, and the battering ram that knocked literally nothing down.) Pretty sure other fandoms have handled this sort of thing better.
I say they’re pixels on a screen. I say the emotions they evoke that get our wheels turning, our pencil to the paper, our fingers to the keys, our loud, midnight messages in all caps about musings that left us starstruck… are the magic of content in any form. All forms - all ripples.
Nobody’s told you what to think or feel, and no one should! It’s a personal journey you share generously with others. Even your own image of a mainstream ship is unique from bow to stern. (I’m running out of nautical metaphors, but… I’d say that one nears the top!) 🚢🌊

Adobe Project Management App
The seven stages of film production
See how Strawberry helps #UniversityOfAuckland bring order and efficiency to their video production workflows, reducing stress and storage cost, while still allowing content creators to work in their preferred editing app. https://t.co/9uDp1Mq8a5 #PostProduction #AssetManagement pic.twitter.com/Svzb5ge6cj

Colour-grading, (I use a camera with notably good colour and try and do only such colour grading as is required by the context of the images in the production), is done sparingly on the basis ‘If in doubt……leave it out’. The audio tracks from the video are cleaned up and mixed down, along with sound effects and music beds.
Post Production Workflow Model
Recently they’ve asked me to collaborative document editing software sift through their entire collection of products to pick out the most useful for maximizing the post workflow and helping editors with some heavy lifting. In doing so I discovered that rather than thinking of them as effects filters, I see many as power tools for post efficiency. They’re not just for prettying up pictures, but solutions to many day-to-day problems.

MOG offers a powerful and flexible set of solutions that are guaranteed to save time, money and resources on handling media to and from AVID’s Environments. The GNARBOX 2.0 SSD now uses SMB file sharing to integrate directly into your Jellyfish workflow over a shared network. Just connect your GNARBOX 2.0 SSD to the same network as your Jellyfish and select your share from the GNARBOX app on your phone. The GNARBOX workflow is great for when you know you’ll need to do quick offloads out in the field but you just can’t bring your Jellyfish with you. Create Frame.io watch folders right on your Jellyfish and upload them directly to the Frame.io cloud app for review and approval or to share projects.
Of course, not all projects require the precision and cost of a dedicated color correction team. If this is the case for your project, your editorial team might be able to handle the coloring process inside their NLE.
How do I distribute my film?
Written by MasterClass. Last updated: Oct 7, 2019 • 4 min read. “That's a wrap!” When a movie director makes the call, cameras stop rolling, and a film is ready to move into its final phase: postproduction. This the final step in taking a story from script to screen, and the stage when a film comes to life.
The Filmmaker's Guide to Final Cut Pro Workflow
Credits were done with a service called Endcrawl for the scroll itself, which was a company Alex’s brother, Shannon discovered. As an editor, I was really happy with the ease of working with the credits. When the project has been completed, the last step is to make this available for consumption by the end user. For others, it could be posting to an “Online Video Platform” (OVP) such as YouTube or Vimeo. Another option is making the project available to other outlets like such as HBO, Hulu or Netflix.
How do I unlock a .bin file?
To un-freeze a partially frozen track, right-click on the frozen insert and select Unfreeze, or just click on the track's snowflake icon. Auxiliary input tracks can be frozen as well, using all the same commands that you would use for an audio track.
Editorial Management FAQ
When copying a project, Project Manager creates a folder named “Copied_[Project Name]” and copies the project, footage files, and other specified files into the folder. Designates where Project Manager saves the files you specified.
With its familiarity and defined access structure, Bin Locking is a time-honored approach to enabling collaborative editing workflows in multi-user, Avid Media Composer-centric environments. Bins are opened in a Shared Project in one of two access modes, Write and Read-Only. Write access lets you work within a Bin as expected in a single-user Media Composer environment – read, write, modify, and delete Sequences or Clips. The appliance also grants access toElements’ full range of workflow enhancement tools, including a full-text search engine, a file manager and task management tool for customised workflow automation. Perhaps the most useful piece of content featuring Shared Projects is the this video by LumaForge.
Can Winrar open BIN files?
bin files virus has been detected to infect computer systems in order to encode target files with the sophisticated AES cipher algorithm. Following data encryption, it extorts a ransom payment from victims. In case this threat has infected your system you won't be able to open files marked with the extension . bin.

What Are Collaborative Editing Tools
Derek had the pleasure to be on Larry Jordan's @DPBuZZ again to talk about the @ProjectiveTech new branding, the lastest product development and #knocktheirsocksoff Strawberry foot wear. Listen to his interview: https://t.co/9wHNobCj0F pic.twitter.com/MkwBkYShTx

Ben worked with us closely to break down the process into a manageable post-production workflow. The very first step in any post-production sound journey usually begins with thespotting session. This is typically the first time the sound team gets to see the film. It’s also the first time the Director gets to sit with their audio team and discuss sonic ideas for the film.
What movies are 3 hours or longer?
There are actually multiple types of processes a manufacturer uses, and those can be grouped into four main categories: casting and molding, machining, joining, and shearing and forming.
Etherpad is a highly customizable Open Source online editor providing collaborative editing in really real-time.
Editorial teams also often work with a lower-resolution version of the film, and so it would be pointless for them to spend hours perfecting the titles if they can’t view them at their full resolution. If the editors decide to combine two performances in the same take, they will probably be able to do a pretty-good job in their NLE, but the finishing artist will recreate that shot with their more advanced tools. But they only serve as a rough blueprint for the color correction process.
Transforming the design process at
In my chat with David, he mentioned that the goal is not to teach you how to do each of the jobs that are essential to the post production workflow, but to give you the bigger picture. To help you to contextualise what you might already do, day-to-day, in the bigger story of the whole project. It’s also a living document that’s going to be growing and evolving over the coming months and years, adding depth to certain areas and keeping pace with the ever-changing nature of post-production workflows. If you’ve ever wanted to read a soup-to-nuts overview of the entire post production process, all the way from the camera sensor to the ‘silver screen’ then Frame.io’s new Workflow Guide is what you’ve been waiting for. Wipster is a tool that aims at helping media and post-production professionals achieve faster creative collaboration and reviews across internal and external teams.

For Hollywood feature and television editors, nothing around has worked better. The Avid Smart Tool was controversial in its introduction back in Media Composer Version 5- many editors wished it would just go away.

Inside Professional Editing Timelines
STEVE KAIRE is a Screenwriter/Pitchman who’s sold 8 projects to the major studios without representation. The last project he sold, he’s Co-Producing for Walden Media. A screenwriter for over 30 years, he holds a Masters in Dramatic Writing and has taught writing classes at the American Film Institute. The back-end means the money that will be paid to you if and only if the project gets produced. Produced means when principal photography commences and the movie gets shot.
You cannot have ‘Avid First’ and the full retail version of’ Avid Media Composer’ installed on the same system. If you are considering learning Avid Media Composer, downloading ‘Avid First’ is an absolute must to become familiar with the editing interface. I was able to edit an entire commercial with multiple video tracks, titles, voice-over, music, and sound effects within 30 minutes.
