Instead of shaming someone for feeling good about themselves and wanting to take a picture we should be celebrating and cheering on their confidence. I post this because I’ve always struggled with my acne prone, combination skin (some years much worst than others) and used to be bullied constantly for looking flawed and not the way I was supposed to look. And though I’ve fully realized there is no such thing as perfection and you are meant to be and look exactly the way you are, I have fought hard to maintain and improve my skin everyday because it helps me feel more beautiful and fearless to try something new. Today I post this because I’m very proud of how my skin looks today in this fun, colorful filter with my fresh haircut and brooding expression, and I encourage everyone to support confidence not ridicule it.
