to the anon who asked which were my favorites, for the 2022 aus, its really hard to pick, I absolutely adored writing my Twisted Fairytales Bridgerton au and one of these days a will totally write a full fic about it, but also the Star Wars au and the Mafia au were so much fun!! An Au where Pedro die and reincarnated as Mirabel.

Before he's killed, Pedro wished he could lived with Alma and his family. He thought he's dead but he found out he is reincarnated as Mirabel, daughter of Julieta.

When Pedro was about to be stabbed, he thought of one thing.

He wished he could have lived with his family.

He feels the pain in his heart, but then he suddenly felt like he was shrinking. He woke up as someone. A child even, he knew what happened.

'No.'

'No OH GOD DID I REINCARNATE!?'

Apparently he was a 2 month old baby, who was clearly a girl.

He- she now? Was in a crib, she was trying to mimic an angry child, but looked like she was crying.

The door opened, she tries to look at the person and saw their face.

She was carried by the person- woman, she's guessing the mother.

The woman calls her by the name "Mirabel", guess she's Mirabel and not Pedro now.

Another person goes in the room.

"Julieta! A man needs healing because he broke his nose."

"Fine, but I'm bring Mirabel with me Pepa."

While she was being carried out, she only thought one thing.

What. The fuck.

Was she reincarnated as her daughter's CHILD!?

She saw Alma talking to Pepa, then Alma looked at her, smiling.

Dios mío, this is platonic now isn't it? She could live with that.

She got to know which one is the cousin and the parents, and the uncles and tia.

Isabela is the oldest sister, Dolores is Pepa's oldest daughter. Camilo is the same age as her, and Luisa is- actually she's a toddler.

Pedro Mirabel began to think of how could she make Alma know that she's back as her grandchild.

She notices that everyone has powers called "gifts" and it appears in the age of 5

Mirabel decides it might be a good idea to hang out with her son- tìo.

She hangs out with Bruno, making him the best uncle she has, and- 'Camilo get off Bruno's ruana.' She thinks.

She tries sewing and embroidery, thinking it is the only way to be with Alma platonically now- oh wow she's actually an amateur at emboidering that easily.

Years past and it's her 5th birthday, she's standing beside Alma and about to hold her doorknob.

She begs that she gets a gift that is similar to past lives, and begs that when she grows up Bruno is a normal person and not hated.

She doesn't get a gift, Alma is looking at her, Julieta and Agustin are trying to calm her down from fake crying, and where the hell is Bruno!?

Apparently Bruno "left" them, when she can just hear someone behind the damn walls. Actually- does Bruno know she knows? Does Dolores know she knows Bruno is still here?

Nope. Great. Her son-now-her-uncle is going to stay in the walls, starving and having bad hygene.

Even after her birthday, she tries to stick with Alma.

'why are you pushing me away Alma? Why? WHY ARE YOU PUSHING A CHILD AWAY!?'

Now she just realized that the townfolks use her family just because of the gifts after a month now.

They use Julieta to heal simple wounds. SIMPLE WOUNDS LIKE A PAPERCUT!

They use Dolores as a gossip machine, her poor ears might give her an overload later on.

Isabela- her poor hermana needs to be "perfect" now. She never has time for Mirabel.

Luisa is now lifting donkeys. Camilo is- honestly she thinks her funny primo/nieto is still himself, just not hanging out with her anymore.

She's sad for Pepa, she has to hide her emotions for the town and the crops, why can't you just get water from the river that's near you!?

Bruno. Her poor tio/hijo Bruno is now in the walls for some odd reason, she knows there's a reason but really? How the heck does he even get food from hiding in a painting?

She looks at Alma, who just scolded her because she was distracting Camilo from his work from helping others.

She knows those eyes, they hold trauma, grief, and sadness. Looks like she didn't mourn him properly because of the town, and accidentally gave everyone generational trauma except for her.

Years pass, and Pedro is still Mirabel, she still wants Alma to at least look at her in a appreciating way and not in an ignorance is bliss way.

Antonio is born now, she feels sad for Dolores, another trauma for hearing those "sounds" like her.

She decided to act like an adult like she was is.

She never notices that the more she acts and talks mature for her age, the more the family becomes sad and horrified that a ten year old is suddenly acting like a mature adult.

Now she just turned fifteen, and oh look! Because of their work THEY FORGOT HER 76TH 15TH BIRTHDAY.

Mirabel tells Julieta if she remembers what today it is, Julieta says it's monday.

"Mama, it's fucking March 6, my birthday?" She ignores the part where she swore, and ignores the part where Julieta looks horrified.

She shrugs and says it's fine if they forget her birthday, what she's not fine is the fact everyone doesn't even get a break on working.

Julieta did, infact, told Alma that they should get a break because it's Mirabel's birthday and she wants all of them to rest on her birthday, not celebrate it.

They fucking ignored it and only baked a cake for her. And 15th birthdays are suppose to be important! THEY GAVE HER A CAKE ONLY.

Now months later, Antonio's ceremony was a disaster, she had to walk him to the door, tell her former-wife-turned-hideous-abuela that cracks were forming, and now they don't believe her.

Well, at least her hija-turned-mom believed her ('you know she did not' her mind says.)

But for some odd reason, she just realized she started acted a bit like her old self, and her reflection flickers into Pedro when she looks in a mirror.

She goes to Dolores, makes Luisa take a break, and is now inside Bruno's tower.

"BRUNO! YOUR ROOM IS THE WORST!"

And almost died. Again. Her abuela found her, Luisa told the conversation, and decided to tell Mirabel to stop what she's doing.

When Alma was about to turn around, Mirabel did not realize she flickered into Pedro for only a second, making Alma look at her twice to make sure she wasn't imagining.

She asks Pepa about Bruno, even though she knows who he is, somehow got a musical number, Agustin found the vision, and now they're both trying to stop Dolores from exposing it.

Mostly Pedro Mirabel is stoppjng her though.

The same thing happens from the movie, the only difference is that something happens.

She meets Bruno and tells him she knew he was in the walls ever since he went there, she just didn't do anything because excuse me I was child Bruno.

When Alma was arguing with Mirabel. She flickered into Pedro after she said her line infront of the whole family.

The whole family was looking at her like they saw a ghost. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" She closed her mouth when she heard her old voice.

"Pedro?" Alma was looking at her- him again.

And then a crack formed below them.

Can I also just say that little Mirabel would probably be a little shit towards her big sisters, Luisa and Isabela? In a fun good-natured way lol maybe playing with Isa’s hair in a funny hairstyle and asking her to keep it on or Luisa playing tea cups and stuffed animals (secretly Luisa loves it) Agustín being a complete dork and making funny, expressive faces when she’s down, just like he used too when she was a child previously. “Ah the nostalgia, I remember doing this to Mirabel when she was young…which happened again but that’s besides the point”

Oh ooooh!!! Little Mirabel would be CRAZY about hair. She would insist on doing everyone's hairdo, including Bruno and Camilo lol. And no-one of them would have the heart to deny her anything lol.

She would be an early riser, so that she would start with her mama's hair, then she would give some pink clips for her papa's hair, then she would try to do Luisa's little braid that she always has on the side of her head, then she would try to put flowers in Isa's hair, then she would try Dolores's headbands (and this little Mirabel would be crazy about headbands for herself too), then she would make tía's Pepa hair, but it would be hard for her, so she would be like "ugh, tía, your hair is wild" which would make Felix laugh, because Pepa's hair is as wild as she is lmao

She'd try to do Bruno's hair and she would tug on Camilo's hair because he didn't like it and his indignation always makes her laugh lol she'd try to do Mariano's hair sometimes, and she would be spoiled by him as his favourite cousin-in-law (is it what it's called? XD).

And she would have this parties with Alma and Luisa where they're drinking tea and try to be proper like every lady should be hah

And Alma! What Alma would feel towards this Mirabel? Because I have this strong feeling she'd they her best to make up for any mistreatment Mirabel experienced in her former life.

After years and years of getting bad prophesies from him, some of the villagers decided to…end the source of them…

Or more accurately; Kill Bruno…

So, after luring him to an empty part of town to do a vision, which was another bad one, the villagers pretended to be okay with it, and offered him a drink as a “Thank you”.

Unbeknownst to Bruno though, the drink was poisoned…

He drank it, and at first the townspeople struck up a conversation with him like they’ve always been cool with him, like they didn’t intend on killing him, and Bruno finally felt like he belonged.

But then the poison took affect…

Slowly, all so slowly, Bruno felt immense pain in his stomach, and stumbled to the ground.

All he heard where those same nice villagers insulting him, calling him a disgrace and a stain to the Madrigals, saying that he was better off dead anyways, and that everyone would be happier without him around…

No one heard them say those words. Dolores was a month away from receiving her gift, so no one heard anything…

Eventually, after what felt like hours, Bruno had died, slow and painful, without any of his loved ones around…

Those villagers would dump his body in the jungle for the jaguars to eat…

But what they didn’t know was that Bruno came back as a ghost they couldn’t see, free to roam the world.

Bruno however, chose to stay and roam Casita, wanting to stay near his family he loved so much.

Meanwhile, Alma became quite worried when her son didn’t return home before dinner. Even when he had become distant to the family, he would always eat dinner with them.

So, she went to the town to ask if the townspeople have seen Bruno somewhere, but all of them said they haven’t seen him.

Within days, rumors started to circulate that Bruno had ran away, some even saying he had left the Encanto somehow.

Alma and the family didn’t believe the rumors at first, but as time passed, Alma and Pepa in particular began to believe those rumors. And so, “We don’t talk about Bruno” became a thing.

But they had no idea. They had no idea that their son and brother was murdered by those same townspeople who spread those rumors…

Meanwhile, Bruno saw his beloved family go about their daily lives, and saw his nieces and nephews being brought into the world.

He would watch over them, play with them as if they could see him, but he knew they couldn’t. It was a nice thought though.

But all of it changed when Mirabel’s gift ceremony arrived.

Upon touching her doorknob, the girl’s door faded away in front of her eyes, leaving her without a room and giftless…

She went to bed crying that night, in the nursery again, all alone…

Bruno went to check on her, and upon seeing her crying her eyes out, instantly went to comfort her.

“Everything will be okay, Mira.” He said, floating behind her. “You’re just as special as everyone else.”

After having said that, Mirabel stopped crying, and turned around, facing him, as if she heard that??

“Who are you?” Mirabel asked the ghost, looking at him.

Bruno couldn’t believe it. She could see him??

“Are you Tío Bruno?” Mirabel then asked.

“Yes…” Bruno could only answer, a small smile appearing on his face. She could see him…

From that day on, the two formed a bond that only grew.

Bruno never told Mirabel to keep his presence as a ghost a secret, because, well, he figured they wouldn’t believe Mira anyways, and he was proven right.

Slowly, the family started to leave the 5 year old girl at home when they went to help the town, since Alma figured that a giftless 5 year old girl was useless anyways, and the others simply…went along with it, even if some didn’t agree. Besides, Casita would look after Mirabel.

But they had no idea that Bruno was looking after her, taking care of her while everyone else tend to their obviously more important duties.

As Mira grew, she started picking up habits from Tío Bruno, such as knocking on wood, throwing sand over her shoulder, and crossing her fingers.

Pepa was the only one that noticed, and asked the girl where she got those habits from. Mira only shrugged her shoulders, but it left Pepa quite drenched in rain… :(

Meanwhile, Bruno continued to basically raise Mirabel from the grave while everyone was busy serving the town.

He thought he was simply babysitting her until Julieta and Agustín finally become proper parents for her.

Until the day came when Mira accidentally called him Papá…

Dolores - Detached but accepting. As the first, she didn’t have company, which probably didn’t help. Though she knew her death was coming down to the last second, it’s still very surreal. She didn’t know the others would join her or anything, she only really had herself and the guide books (their house came with guidebooks for things like technology and such). She didn’t know what to think of it, but she was always grateful for her second chance.

Mirabel - Denial/Grieving. Though she was in a dangerous situation, she believed Casita would/had protected her and she saved the miracle. To be told that “no, you didn’t” was rough. And the whole “everything went back to normal as if you never existed; oh, we never found your head” bit too. And then there’s the fact she doesn’t think she was worth reincarnating at all. …She had a lot of emotions regarding everything.

Isabela - Anger and confusion. All Isabela knows is she had a coffee, went to bed and has now woken up in the 21st century. She has no idea what’s going on and gets pissed at Dolores for ‘babying’ her - Dolores (and Luisa) believes that Isabela was responsible for her death and keeps a very close eye on her. Eventually, they piece together the fact she was poisoned and Dolores leaves her be. Isabela is livid Milagro murdered her and got away with it. She is glad she got to live again though.

Luisa - Accepting, dare I say excited? (To be fair, Luisa missed the middle of having to get Mirabel and Isabela to settle.) She is sad she died, sure, and misses the rest of the family, but allows herself to move on. It’s the healthy thing to do. They have a second chance at life, they can’t focus on what they did or didn’t do in the past one.

Reincarnation Greek goddess mama Isa au.

Isabela (who’s the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Demeter with her memories) will stop doing her job the instant that Mirabel ( who is Persephone reincarnated with no memories) is being bullied, ignored, and or pushed aside.

Like Isabela is not only making the town beautiful (which is unnecessary in her opinion) but she’s also helping the farmers of the village so that there is enough food for the harvest/winter until spring/summer.

The farmers of Encanto gave Isabela the nickname Demeter, after witnessing her give a harsh verbal lashing for making Mirabel cry for not having a gift.

OHHHH VERY INTERESTING…don’t know much about Greek mythology but. Sounds cool asl, and love mana Isa, so it checks out 🪼🪼🪼

Good for Isabela for standing up for herself and Mirabel. Farmers don’t realize how much they rely on Isabela (and Pepa but I digress) and it shows. Like she can just stop and. That’s that.

Obey Me AU where Mammon Kermit sewer-slides because he couldn’t handle the cruelty of his brothers anymore. Mammon gets reincarnated as Mirabel Madrigal, so it’s a crossover AU of Encanto x Obey Me. And the AU begins after the movie, where Mirabel’s memories of her past life as Mammon begin coming to the forefront. As she remembers more and more of her past life, her hair slowly changes from black to white, her eyes begin changing color, and her demonic power leaks.

As it’s canon to Obey Me lore that Diavolo made the brothers into his Avatars of Sin, he still has a connection to Mammon. And so senses Mammon after it being years.

Diavolo and Barbatos personally go to the human world to go to Encanto to check if it’s really Mammon or not. He doesn’t want to get the brothers’ hopes up if it is, so he doesn’t tell Lucifer. But Diavolo and Barbatos see Mirabel - reincarnated Mammon - and realize in an instant that it’s Mammon reincarnated.

Diavolo talks with Alma regarding allowing Mirabel to attend RAD for the exchange program, which in this AU has had set up for a year. MC is the balm to the brothers’ pain because they remind the bros of Lilith, but they miss Mammon greatly still.

Alma is pretty aware that something is up with her granddaughter, and pieces it together pretty quickly regarding a DEMON being there and Mirabel’s new changes, so asks for the truth. Diavolo gives it, since he knows as she is the matriarch of reincarnated Mammon’s new family, she has last say. Alma wants Diavolo to guarantee Mirabel’s safety in the Devildom because she doesn’t want to see her granddaughter dead by her past life’s family. She also has a stipulation that Camilo go with since Camilo and Mirabel are close. Camilo wouldn’t hesitate to be Mirabel’s bodyguard if needed.

Diavolo accepts and Alma tells the family a tailored telling of the story, that Mirabel has her gift from inheriting it through being the descendant of a demon. And that Mirabel would be going to RAD in the Devildom to help her learn to control her new-found abilities but also for the exchange program to foster good relations. And Camilo was to go with since the two would be good to watch each other’s back.

So when the two got there, and Diavolo informs Lucifer of two new arrivals, Lucifer is shocked to see a female version of Mammon. The other brothers get shocked as well, and aren’t sure how to respond beyond trying to get close to Mirabel, because they missed Mammon.

Meanwhile Camilo is seeing these demons as a threat to his cousin’s heart because he thinks they’re romantically interested in her until the truth gets revealed.

Also this is a Diavolo x Mammon or I guess in this case Diavolo x Mirabel AU.

It was summer after a fiesta when you and Camilo first met, his eyes landed on yours on that hot day and you smiled at him. Immediately, there was a spark ignited between you. The both of you began seeing each other more, forming a genuine friendship. Chasing each other around Encanto, laughing, and slowly falling for one another. It was you who first admitted your feelings for him, it was the happiest day of your life when Camilo says he feels the same too.

You and Camilo would sneak around town and share a kiss near the forest. It felt so incredibly right to be with him. Eventually, you and he turned 18, during your birthday, Camilo gifted you matching necklaces. Around that moment, it truly felt as though he has proposed to you. He took you to meet his parents and you do the same, your families totally overjoyed to find you both in a healthy relationship.

You'd continue to sneak around with Camilo. Sometimes he'll take you after midnight on the Casita's roof, either drinking or making out. It seemed like you and he are the only people in the entire world. Camilo would laugh and kiss you again and again.

"As soon as we turn older, I'm gonna bend on one knee and finally ask you to marry me. I'll find the prettiest ring out there for the prettiest girl I've ever seen"

He told you. Of course, your cheeks will turn red and you'll turn bashful. You really loved the idea of Camilo proposing to you and being his wife. As time flew by, the weather continues to change yet you and Camilo remained the same. However, one night, you fell ill until it remained for an entire week. Camilo was definitely distraught and stayed beside you the entire time. Eventually, you were told you have a sickness that has no cure and that you were bound to lose your life one day.

Your entire world comes crumbling down, your whole life flashed before your eyes before you began bawling your eyes out. Camilo wasn't strong enough to hold his tears back too, so he cried along with you. All those moments you spent with the love of your life suddenly felt so far away. The tragedy has broken your heart into smithereens rendering you hopeless. You remembered the time you met Camilo during that fiesta on a summer day. You recalled him making that promise that he'll make you his wife. You go weeping again, knowing your dreams with him will never come true.

Camilo did everything he could to stay strong yet he knew deep within, he was weak, you weaken him. Seeing you cry was enough to bring him to his knees. He did everything he could possibly think of. Yet despite his efforts, he couldn't stop the inevitable. Ultimately, his mother Pepa would come to hug Camilo and tell him to go spend his time with you while you're still breathing. So, he did.

You couldn't be more in love even though on the brink of death. You felt so weak yet so full of love. Camilo never left your side. He continued to do the things he and you would do while you were still well. The shapeshifter would tell you jokes, stories, and sing songs about how much he adores you. He'll be there before the sun would rise and never leave even if the moon comes falling down. In spite of all things, Camilo remained true and loved you until the end. It was enough to make you feel better.

The unpredicted day has come wherein you lie on your deathbed, eyelids heavy. Camilo was calmly humming beside you while brushing your hair. You snuck a glance at him and melted, he looked so beautiful. You reached to touch his hand, and he responded by interlocking his fingers with yours. Camilo kisses your forehead, and you smiled at him.

"¿Mi amor?"

"¿Sí, mi vida?"

There was a pause. You can feel your breath growing shallow as you struggled to keep your eyes open.

"Do you...do you think that I'll meet you in another life?"

You ask him. Camilo has noticed your weakening state and is already preparing himself for the most heart-crushing moment in his entire life. His breath hitched as he forced a smile, but his eyes begin to water. The shapeshifter wasn't sure if he believed in reincarnation, but if it were to be real, he wished you and him will meet in another lifetime where a tragedy like this wouldn't come between you both.

"I...yes. You...you and I will meet again, [Name]. I don't know when but we will. You'll probably be just as beautiful as you are now and I'll be falling for you all over again"

Camilo's words made your smile as enormous as ever, your heart swelled with joy. He goes to kiss your knuckles.

"In the next lifetime, I get to marry you and you'll be my wife. Nothing will ever come between us ever again, mi amor"

"Te quiero, Camilo"

With those final words, you sighed in contentment and closed your eyes for good. Camilo held in his breath as he noticed the halt of your heartbeat, he collapses on your side, letting out a loud cry.

After your death, Camilo couldn't bring himself to love another, it felt like he was betraying you. So, with the remaining days of his life, Camilo continued to live on with joy and no regrets. He kept the memory of your love alive in his heart until he passed away due to very old age.

The sun rises indicating another day. A girl opens her eyes to the sound of her alarm. She yawns and reached for her phone by the nightstand. She prepared for the upcoming day ahead. After breakfast and getting dressed, she exits her home and made her way to her university. This was an average day for any college student. She'll go through the crowd and walk in the city full of colors, she makes her journey towards the train station. The girl busied herself with her phone, scrolling through social media and messaging her friends. The train arrives and she squeezed herself inside.

She stands by the exit and looked outside the window. The train begins to move as she waited until it reached her stop. The girl watched the scenery outside, there was a blur of other trains passing by. All of a sudden, her eyes grow wide. She lets out a silent gasp as she stared at the passing train nearby. She stared at the fellow passenger leaning against the train's exit. Her eyes sparkled with familiarity. It was a guy with sun-kissed skin and curly brown hair. His eyes were hazel and freckles adorned his cheeks. The girl couldn't help but feel so familiar with this random stranger riding another train.

The guy notices her gaze and becomes speechless. His eyes looked at her with disbelief. She was beyond beautiful. Her hair was [hair color] and her eyes felt like home. The two shared a look for a while, unable to say a word nor do anything. Both of their hearts raced yet they felt so confused why they felt this way. They start to grow apart, their trains separating ways until it has made them snap back to reality.

They thought in unison. As soon as the two of them exited the train, they raced out of the station, looking for each other. The girl ran outside and searched the crowd for those warm hazel eyes. He pants while he ran around the area to look for that gorgeous girl. They seek one another for a long moment, almost running out of hope until, in slow motion where it felt like it was destiny, they meet each other in the middle of the crowd. She was the first to approach him and he came closer to her.

They shared another look, it felt like a century as they stared at each other breathlessly. He was getting flashes of memories he didn't know he had. And she was feeling emotions that felt like it was buried deep inside for centuries. He was the first to speak.

"Hey...have we met before?"

His voice in her ears sounded so familiar, like a pair of arms wrapping around her. The girl can feel her eyes begin to water the longer she stared at him.

"I...I think so"

Her voice somehow brought tears to his eyes. It seemed as though he has found something he has lost before for a very long time. The two never broke the gaze. She smiled and chuckled lightly. It felt so absurd that this handsome stranger felt like a long-lost lover yet she has no memory of him whatsoever.

"My name's Camilo"

He, Camilo, introduces first. The name brings a slight pinch to the girl's heart but she decides to brush it off.

"I'm [Name]"

She says. Camilo lets out a shaky breath, unable to believe this feeling of joy rising within him. She takes out her hand, and he shakes her hand eagerly. Within the crowd, Camilo and [Name] couldn't shake nor deny the emotions that came to life after seeing each other for the first time. It appeared as though this meeting was ought to happen. Camilo laughs and runs a hand through his curly hair.

"So [Name], uh...wanna go out for coffee sometime?"

"I would love to, Camilo"
