Life Outside the Binary

After an unfortunate series of misgendering events where I question my very identity, I realize two things:

1. As I didn’t always know I was non-binary, I spent my ENTIRE CHILDHOOD thinking of myself in a Binary.

2. It can take a very long time to retrain the brain to think of things differently.

But I have this fantastic knowledge that for people I just met, I am who I am.

One day I’ll be at that point too.

Pronouns- I don’t really use them, but it’s still significant to me when someone calls me “they” instead of my AGAB pronouns. Either they don’t remember enough about me to label me as such, or I’ve achieved androgyny.

Still don’t use them though 😏

Hiya!

I am bad at these and they always sound so weird in my head. But I am Danae. I run a couple other blogs and suddenly felt like making an enby themed one.

I myself am nonbinary, asexual and aro-spec. I also do not use pronouns.

I will put my usual disclaimer here- I love interacting with people, but do not love discourse or related things.
