i'd like to just say that lesbian is not "the only sexuality that excludes men", here are some sexualities that fit the "exclusively attracted to women and nonbinary people" definition:
nomasexual
neptunic
trixensexual
trixic
nominsexual
enbitrix
venusic
lunaric
(you can find all of these on the lgbtqia+ wiki - there's probably more, i didn't search for very long)
Thanks

If I identify as lesbigay, can I also identify as uranic and neptunic? I feel drawn to those labels but I'm nervous about actually committing to IDing as those..
i'm going to be honest, i can't tell you what you can and can't identify as. it's kind of hard to give an exact answer due to the definition of neptunic and uranic specifically excluding masc-aligned/male-aligned individuals and fem-aligned/female-aligned individuals respectively and i do want to respect how the coiner originally intended it but at the same time i also don't feel entirely comfortable telling someone they can't use something? because from personal experience being told that i should use trixic/enbitrix instead of lesbian was just...very uncool and not fun. like i do feel that in certain cases there can be exceptions and honestly, identity can be incredibly complex and that can include having "conflicting" labels. i'm probably not the best person to go to regarding that since honestly, this probably isn't that helpful of an answer /gen
followers can feel free to add onto this with advice.
#not gaybian culture#gaybian#lesbigay#uranic#neptunic#submission#(apologies if this isn't the exact answer you were looking for anon)#(not the best with this sort of thing and well. identity can have nuance at times)

Thank you so much for explaining yet again, and I’m the same as you. I have really long hair, I’m short and petite. Have small features on my face. I look like a typical feminine way (I’m hesitant to put it that way but Erh I guess I will). Another thing is. Can you be bisexual, pansexual or gay AND be non binary or gender fluid?
No problem, I totally understand. I'm 5'4" and have big hips and and thighs and big eyes and lips, and like to sometimes wear skirts even when I feel masculine, and I like having my hair long and don't want facial hair. So I always feel the pressure of people who say looking like that means I'm not really a trans-man, or I'm not really genderfluid.
And absolutely you can be bi/pan or gay and be non-binary or genderfluid. I'm personally pansexual and genderfluid, and I know others who are genderfluid who like using the pan label over the bisexual label just because they feel it fits with their own gender identity more.
If you're genderfluid and you only like men yes you can call yourself gay. The gay/vincian and lesbian labels exist for both men/women and non-binary people who only like men/women.
(This is the part were anyone reading this stops interacting with me and unfollows me if they don't support non-binary people and neopronouns and neogenders)
But there are a whole world of more labels I've been learning about lately that you may want to use instead (you absolutely do not have to!) that are more niche to non-binary identities). Note: when I say non-binary here I am using it as the umbrella term for all gender identieies that are classed as non-binary identities (anything that isn't cis or trans men and women):
Achilean = someone who is a man or male-aligned non-binary person who is attracted to men or male-aligned non-binary people (can also be attracted to women as well)
Ceterosexual = someone who is only attracted to non-binary and genderqueer people
Diamoric = someone who is non-binary and experiences attraction in a non-binary way, a non-binary equivalent to sapphic and achillean
Enbian = someone who is non-binary and is attracted to non-binary people (can also be attracted to binary genders)
Enbitrix = someone who is non-binary and only attracted to women and/or non-binary people
Feminamoric = someone who is non-binary and is only attracted to women
Finsexual = someone who is only attracted to feminine people of any gender
Floric = someone who is a man or non-binary and is only attracted to men and/or men and non-binary people
Neptunic = someone who is attracted to women, feminine non-binary people, and gender neutral non-binary people
Neusexual = someone who is attracted to people with neutral genders e.g. people who are agender
Nofinsexual = someone who is only attracted to non-feminine (maculine or neutral) people of any gender
Nomasexual = someone who is attracted to all genders apart from binary men (cis or trans men)
Nominsexual = someone who is only attracted to anyone non-masculine (feminine or neutral) people of any gender
Noninsexual = someone who is only attracted to any neutral (not feminine or masculine) people of any gender
Sapphic = someone who is a woman or female-aligned non-binary person who is attracted to women or female-aligned non-binary people (can also be attracted to men as well)
Saturnic = someone who is only attracted to androgynous-aligned non-binary people
Torensexual = someone who is only attracted to men and non-binary people
Toric = someone who is non-binary and attracted to men (can also be attracted to women and non-binary people as well)
Triasexual = someone who is only attracted to non-binary people
Trixensexual = someone who is only attracted to women and non-binary people
Trixic = someone who is non-binary and attracted to women (can also be attracted to women and non-binary people as well)
Turian = someone who is a man or non-binary person and is only attracted to men
Uranic = someone who is only attracted to men, masculine non-binary people, and neutral non-binary people
Viramoric = someone who is non-binary/genderqueer and is only attracted to men
But by no means do you have to use a more specific identify and you can go ahead and call yourself gay if you want to! I hope that was help and not confusing
