Breaking Barriers: Women Redefining Their Narrative
Breaking barriers involves removing obstacles that hinder an individual or group. Barriers can be natural like a mountain, or they can be created by man barriers, like laws or social structures. In particular, women typically face gender-based barriers when pursuing the leadership role. Personal obstacles can be overcome by establishing self-confidence, which is essential to leadership development. Women Redefining Their Narrative in "We Rise' Despite the advancements that women's advancements have brought, gender-based biases and stereotypes remain a barrier to the potential of women. Insidiously, societal expectations portray leadership as something that is male and leaves women behind. This hinders their ability to take on leadership roles and contribute to thriving economies that are beneficial to all. In the '20s, working women became part of America's new mass consumer culture, that brought about changes to the nature of domestic life as well. The refrigerator, the washing machine and vacuum cleaner revolutionized the way we live. in changing the way household chores were done. A third wave feministism was a reaction to the sexist representations and stereotypical representations of women within popular culture. This was evident in the brutal truth, humour, and horror of Eve Ensler's novel and play "The Vagina Monologues" and in the righteous anger of punk rock's riot grrrls and the fun seriousness, subversion and humour of The Guerrilla Girls. Women who would like to lead need to act now. The economies of APEC must adopt and implement policies that take a gender perspective, integrating a holistic view of women into education curricula as well as economic and development plans including access to credit, jobs, and also in leadership positions at all levels of governance. "We Rise" celebrates women of Color Gender equality requires overcoming traditional discriminatory beliefs and practices which include sex-based biases. Women are taught how to challenge and overcome these obstacles is crucial to ensuring the global economy, which is beneficial to all. Women and girls of color are able to see themselves in female political figures like Kamala Harris who was born to the support of a Jamaican father and an Indian mother. "She's very inspiring to me and I hope that it inspires others of my age to get involved in public life," says 14-year-old Jayanti Jahagir from Brooklyn, New York.
youtube
While the number of women in leadership roles has grown, many remain encircled by glass ceilings. Social norms and unconscious biases hamper their ability to enter male-dominated industries that are more lucrative, and could be exacerbated by funding and partisan support limitations in winner-take-all electoral systems. This is mainly due to the fact that males have been historically thought to be to be the best candidates for various jobs. These barriers ultimately undermine the success of economic systems and society as a whole. "We Rise" Highlights Women of Faith Women of all faiths are affected by the world's biggest problems and strive to bring about the world better. They have a powerful voice in shaping policies that tackle racism and inequality. Kendra Taylor, an Amazon best-selling author, shares her story of how she was taught to never speak of God nor the Catholic Faith and that she only went to Church during the seasons of Easter and Christmas until the 'God-incidences' brought her back to her 'Catholic roots.' Her story is among numerous inspiring stories from the 2022 Assembly to show how a woman can conquer any challenge with her unwavering hope in Jesus Christ. Participants are urged to be active by volunteering and supporting community organizations working towards positive social change. A particular focus was placed on collaboration during the voluntary Ubuntu Day of Service which let participants come together to improve their communities. In addition, the assembly offered a variety of virtual opportunities for women to have an influencer in their own lives and to share their experiences. 'We Rise' Keynotes Women of Vision Women have been for a long time stymied by the glass ceiling that hinders women from rising to executive positions. In the United States, only 3 percent of executive-level positions are filled by women. All across APEC economies, this number is even lower. Additionally female entrepreneurs are impeded in achieving more success by numerous factors which prevent them from entering male-dominated industries. These include unconscious biases the social norms that limit exposure to these areas as well as a lack of access capital. But, a lot of female leaders are still challenging the status quo. Their success doesn't depend on any specific title in business or a specific attire. It's more about their goals and the values that inspire them. Those traits can be learned and utilized by anyone looking to advance her own or her community's cause. This is the potential that is Women of Vision. "We Rise" showcases the incredible stories of these women and encourages other women to join in the cause. Video source

Empowered Women - The Unstoppable Force
Women empowerment is a worldwide movement that promotes equality of chances and rights of women. It can have a major impact on society and helps break that cycle of poverty. A confident woman is aware of her strengths and values herself completely. She understands her flaws and is patient with herself when she is unable to remember something or fails to meet a goal. Self-awareness Women are more and more making their voices heard and insisting on equality in all aspects of life. But, despite the progress in empowering women, the fight remains far from being over. Leaders teams, conference lineups and speaking positions continue to place emphasis on male voices and men over female ones. One strategy to overcome this is to practice self-awareness. This helps you recognize bad habits and avoid escalating situations.
youtube
Self-confidence Women empowerment is developing a woman's confidence in herself, her decision-making power and her ability to effect social change. This is a concern for her wellbeing, including the primary and developmental needs (as as per Maslow theory) Access to resources and opportunities Knowledge and participation. An empowered woman sets short-term and long-term goals and is not afraid to make a risk. She also understands that she must be a woman who loves herself, all flaws and all. Self-love Empowered women know that vulnerability is a crucial element to self-love that is healthy. They do not shy away from discussing their strengths and weaknesses But they make sure to be aware of the way they speak to themselves as well as others. They also establish good boundaries. For example, they might make themselves feel a little proud for throwing the most perfect bridal shower for their cousin, only to they will quickly cheer her on when she does something similar. Self-care Empowered women are secure with their identity and remain solid in their choices. They are also incredibly generous with the time and money, and resources to causes that they believe in. Self-care can be as simple as taking time to reset by doing something that feels nourishing to you. This can be physical, emotional, or even spiritual. Gender equality is an essential aspect of achieving world development goals, therefore giving women the opportunity to be empowered is essential. Self-reliance Women empowerment is the process of providing women with the power to make decisions access to opportunities, resources, as well as control over their lives, both inside and out of the home. These are the key elements in improving the lives of women as well as their families. Women are taking a stand against gender-based inequality and it's vital to assist women in this fight. The empowerment of women can lead to healthier, happier, and more productive communities. Self-respect Empowered women are an element to be reckoned with. Women who are leaders within their areas and are able to make a difference in the lives of people around them. They are also confident of their own worth and know when they need to stand up for what they believe in. Empowering women can start right in your own community. Make a note of gratitude to the teacher who inspired you for years; or offer a compliment to that girl in your class who is always smiling; or inform your sister, daughter or mother, how you feel about her. Self-governance Whether she's reading personal development books, or taking classes in self-development, an empowered woman takes her own knowledge into her hands. She seeks out her mission and commits to living in a way that aligns with her purpose. She's always eager to help other women. She's experienced with the leadership teams, conference lineups speaking roles, and media sourcing tends to prioritize male or male voices. Self-expression Women are at the center of the global issue and must to be empowered to address them. However, this begins at the home, at work and within our communities. This means recognizing the fact that women are entitled to be paid equally for their work, and being willing to ask for what they're worth. Rothy's is honored to be part of a movement that's supporting women to become more empowered at work and in other areas. Self-reflection Women who reflect on themselves can recognize their strengths and limitations. This enables them to respond to difficult situations with intent instead of emotion or impulse. It's important to set aside time to reflect and incorporate it into your daily routine. This will assist you in moving toward empowerment. Support the women around you and be supportive of their voices. Self-advocacy Women should be empowered on every front which includes economic and social. If they're empowered, they can be more productive and create positive changes to society. The leadership teams, conference lineups and speaking roles generally prioritize men's voices. If you are seeing this happening, be sure to encourage other women. This will enable them to make a statement and gain the recognition they deserve. It also raises awareness. Video by YouTube

The Triumphs of 'We Rise'
A writer and New York Times columnist Arthur Brooks challenges middle-aged overachievers. He discusses his research into the fact that professional knowledge and productivity increase between 30 and 50 Then, they drop off unless one is able to adjust. Change is inevitable and inevitable, but it is not. From Strength to Strong offers the path to turn the sagging of your life into a new, exciting results. The Triumphs of 'We Rise' In a South Central Los Angeles school gifted students are challenged unlike ever before. The veteran journalist Miles Corwin (The Killing Season) was a part-time student with the students of a group of high-school seniors who had enrolled in an exclusive magnet program. The story of their bravery, achievements, and strength is a testament of the strength of the human spirit. A very moving moments in the film the reading of Maya Angelou's poem 'Still I Rise.' In the poem, the speaker states that she'll never be silenced and that her people are no longer a nation that is silence. It is an apt epigraph for the film, and the film is a powerful reminder of how there are many ways to increase educational achievement. The children In And Still We Rise find the refuge they need from their harsh surroundings by studying Hamlet and find comfort in the struggle of The Great Gatsby, and personal enlightenment in Portrait of an Artist. With their determination they prove that even those who are most depressed can be successful. Brooks's Insights
youtube
The introduction describes how an exchange in a plane spurred Brooks to write this book. Brooks learned that scientists have observed that the effectiveness and creativity of those who perform well early in life inevitably declines with age, but they are able to regain an amount of success jumping to what one researcher calls"the "second the curve." Beethoven, for example, created his most important works after he was completely deaf. Brooks dedicates a whole chapter to showing how successful people must retrain their brains to move to the second curve. Brooks draws on his research in neuroscience, psychology, history, literature, Eastern spirituality, and economics to prove his point. The most persuasive argument, however, comes from his own experience. He recounts how he got obsessed with success and discovered happiness when he began looking at relationships rather than the material things and status. He suggests that readers adopt similar steps. They'll be happy they did. Brooks's Conclusions Brooks's aggressive behavior during his first full day of trial was so intense that Judge Dorow had to remove him out of the courtroom. He repeatedly denied the authority of the court, argued that he's the "sovereign citizen," and claimed that he is not subject to U.S. law, a assertion that Judge Dorow ruled is not backed by the law. He also raged against the inevitable loss of physical and mental abilities that research suggests develops with age. in Chapter 1 he discusses studies that show that people who are productive generally peak at the end of their careers between the ages of 30 and 50. They then suffer a decline in productivity until they eventually retire. To beat this obstacle, Brooks writes that successful individuals must shift their attention away from the accumulation of material wealth and social standing to embrace new ways of living that allow people to feel joy in the second part of their lives. Brooks suggests that a lot of people resist this change due to being addicted to success. Brooks's Bottom Line Brooks has written a book that unlike other self-help publications of this kind relies heavily upon research and theories that have been reviewed by academic journals through blind peer review. Brooks also shares his personal thoughts and experiences, and the book is clearly the result of his soul-searching. The opening chapter of Brooks' book discusses the results of studies showing career knowledge and productivity decline with age. He introduces what he calls the second curve. This is the shift towards more completeness during the latter years of your career, where the skills that helped you succeed earlier in life will be in their prime. The key is to open the second curve sooner than you think. In order to make the change, Brooks says you have stop relying on success. This isn't an easy task for those who are overachieving. The chapters that follow examine the reasons you might resist this change, such as attachment to material possessions and social status. Go to the video

Unleashing the Power of Womanhood
Adversity often elicits abilities that would be dormant in more prosperous circumstances. This is demonstrated by the learners in Miles Corwin's novel Yet We Rise. Making investments in women's economic development leads to healthier and productive families, growing businesses plus stronger and more stable economies. This is why the WE RISE project supports this by encouraging supplier diversity and gender-responsive purchasing (SD-GRP). Learn more about WE RISES here. What are WE RISE's goals? We Rise is an online platform that allows the sharing of stories that showcase women's leadership, perseverance and strength. It also functions as a platform for advocacy and an educational instrument to help in the implementation in gender sensitive procurement (GRP) throughout the Mekong region. Real-life stories of the process of building up movement each episode highlights real breakdowns, detours, and setbacks. WE RISE illustrates how a single moment will affect the rest a person's life. The poem begins with the premise that women are standing up and speaking out. Women are providing visibility and a louder volume to people who are left out or unnoticed by society. Women must keep this momentum going and join other women in their own. This is why women are so powerful. This message is repeated throughout the fifty-eight lines in this empowering piece. A strong calling to action the poem is inspiring and motivational. It's a must-read and should not be missed. Who is WE RISE? The ability of women and girls to increase their opportunities in the economy results in healthy households as well as growing businesses as well as stronger and more stable communities. In the context of emergency or fragile conditions it is crucial. In the world women are the biggest group excluded from economic opportunities. However, they could bring immense benefits to the world economy, if governments firms and development finance institutions shift policies and practices to enable them to participate.
youtube
Founded by Danny Mendoza after learning that his cousin was living in her vehicle due to DCFS policies, Together We Rise has been working with local residents as well as foster agencies, foundations and individuals to make a difference in life of kids living in foster care. They also empower families and communities to act as advocates for them. They offer resources, foster family training, and provide children with permanent homes. They also promote economic growth in long-disinvested communities in Chicago which could benefit the entire region. WE RISE partners with local businesses, artists and leaders to improve the well-being of communities. Why is WE RISE important? Across the world Women are particularly affected by family illnesses and disasters which has more frequent and severe impacts to their households than men. This makes it difficult to get a job or go to school. In addition, the lack of income prevents them from achieving their full potential, and also from supporting their communities. States must legally mandate safe and supportive homes in areas of conflict to help women be able to escape violence and create better lives. Additionally, they should deal with the root causes of violence that are causing the violence, such as land tenure system that exclude women from property ownership and education systems that leave them behind. When we talk about equality, we need to keep in mind that equality isn't a right for all; it's a responsibility for everyone. This is why WE RISE is so important. It's a means to share the stories of those who are working to change the world - and to gain knowledge from their experiences, download tools and resources to help you strengthen your own builder of movement. The resources are organized in cycles, and is based on important decisions that builders of movement make throughout their journeys. What can WE RISE do to help? Every year, WE RISE events bring community members together to share stories, make connections and grow. These community-based events help local artists, organizations and leaders to build the wellbeing of communities. Every day, more than 1,200 children are taken from their homes and put into the United States foster care system through no reason of their own. Without proper support, these youngsters are often homeless, leave high school, and not complete their college education. Danny Mendoza and his team at Together We Rise are working to change this. They are mobilizing funds and developing programs like Sweet Cases (duffle bags) as well as Build Bikes, birthday Boxes, Framing Forever (free photo cards for families adopting from foster homes) superhero Boxes (a kit packed with a cape, mask, handcuffs, pillowcase, registration card and the superhero bag) and reunification events. WE RISE is assisting efforts across the country to advance a democratic society which empowers everyone to take on leadership. To accomplish this it will require funding strategies tailored to areas and communities that aren't considered by other democracy funders. It is the Cycles of Movement Building are an outline to help experienced and new activists learn how to plan strategically for the demands of the moment. Go to the video

Yet, a few female leaders are still challenging the norm. They aren't required to have the use of a specific business title or even a specific outfit. celebrating your birthday
A/n: It's nowhere near my birthday but whatever
Amity: It's been a while since she's had a real birthday party. She used to get mager ones when she was friends with Boscha. In retrospect that was probably to impress Boscha's parents. But enough about all that it's your big day. And with money (that she totally didn't steal from her mom) she wants to make sure that you have a great birthday. She takes you to any store you want. And then gets you your favorite food.
Luz: She loves birthday parties so much!!! She goes all out. There's a bunch of decorations. And if you like having more people there, all of her friends are there. Which we know is a fucking lot. If you don't want a lot of people that's okay. She buys your favorite cake. You only turn whatever age your turning once. And now I've at least alluded to Boscha two more times than I thought I would.
Willow: She's never been one that likes big crowds. And no matter how many people are on your part she'd feel kind of awkward. So she hosts a party that's just the two of you. On the plus side, it's more special. Also, her dads make you a cake <3.
Hunter: The FUCK is a birthday? Yeah, I think I've made it clear the Empoer's coven and the Empoer himself suck. Like doesn't even know what that word means. But once he finds out he's determined to give you a good one. Despite never being to or having one himself. And it's very all over the place, You have no cake but do have ice cream. Not sure how he managed to mess up the biggest part of the birthday. He's trying okay? Also the number of gifts he good you was absurd.
Vee: She kind of knows what birthdays are. A few kids had them at camp (Which was probably sad as fuck.) So while the general decorations are kinda dull. The gifts are great! Most (affordable) things you want you get. Though there are a few oddballs in there. Like she just got you a straight-up weapon.
Raine: Pretty good birthday. The happy birthday song is 10x more awkward. Because they have a beautiful singing voice. Thankfully they also are an awkward mess when it comes to stuff like that. So they probably won't sing it (if you don't when them to.) All of the gifts they get you are sweet.
Eda: Never trust Eda to throw a party, worst mistake of my life. There are so many different shows and gamed-themed plates it's insane. The presents don't make any sense. Like a book about how to get better at abominations, while your human ass is just sitting there confused as fuck. She starts laughing and then just straight up gives you 250 snails.
Emria: She bakes the cake herself (and almost burns the house down.) She's not great at the whole planning the party thing. But it is still an enjoyable experience! While the wrapping job might have been so bad that you could see the gifts, said gifts were still great. Is her lacking ability in making birthday parties just a her thing or is her mom also at the core of this? I don't know, you decide.
Edric: Dude was stressed. He wanted it to be perfect! But, just like his siblings, he had no clue what to do. I mean he'd had birthdays, but he's not known for excelling. And with his mom being Odaila there was no chance of him getting a proper birthday. Cue the googling! The birthday isn't very extravagant, despite his wealth. But it is a fun time. He did end up getting pin the tail on the donkey. So that's pretty fun.
The Collector: Any chance to throw a party is a chance he'll take! And it was about you? That's twice the fun. He can make you the biggest cake with just a snap of his finger, not sure how good it would taste but that's beside the point. Also, the presents are great, obviously. You guys have stereotypical "girls" birthday parties. You have a slumber party, eat pizza, play truth or dare, and stay up all night.
Lilith: She probably wouldn't do anything major for your party. A slice of a cake and a small gift or two. It's not that she doesn't care about you, she does a lot! She doesn't really celebrate her birthday. (Sorry boys it's not angst this time I just don't think she likes celebrating her birthday.) That being said, if you want a bigger party she's not totally against the idea. But the only people she has the confidence to ask are Hooty, Luz, and Eda (King probably tagged along.) It's pretty hectic, as all things with the owl family are, but it's honestly the best birthday you've had.
Gus: Gus is almost the biggest overachiever out there (second only to Hunter.) So he's more than excessive. He takes all his past parties and parties he's been to and combines them into one big party. He invited Willow over to make sure it looked okay (bless her and the crap she has to deal with.) She tells Gus in the nicest way possible that you'd probably have a heart attack from all the colors. She quickly helped him fix everything up. When you do come over it's overall presentable. It's a far cry from what Gus had planned but it is chill.

a small collection of headcanons for heinrix van calox under cut ( つ﹏╰)
》He has a small hobby of writing poetry and prose. Most of his practice came from his time as nobility on Guisorn III. But since his psyker curse manifested, he has had little time to spend writing poems. Sometimes, when his emotions need an outlet, he attends to his largely discarded hobby. Most of these poems and letters end in the waste bin or burned.
》He has always had a soft spot for heroines in stories.
》He used to read to and with his sisters on Guisorn III. Heinrix now shares a shade of this tradition with Cassia and the Lord Captian.
》Heinrix attends sermons as regularly as his duty allows. He finds solace in confiding in the God Empoerer and various Imperial Saints. One he prays to often is Rybel Gorth, the Watcher of the Dark. Especially when the pressures of the Archenemy are strong and Heinrix himself strained.
》The Interrigator prefers Tanna over Recaf. But drinks both when offered.
》Heinrix has always had a fondness for flora. Born from the lush fields and beautiful gardens on Guisorn III. It is, generally, his preferred gift to any potential informants (or lovers, but those are fewer and far between).
》He is a terrible shot (The Lord Captian's words).
》Frequently sparring and working out is an essential part of his daily routine. Of which he hardly deviates. He is more than happy to spar with anyone (and show off) but rarely has a partner. This has changed since being assigned to the Lord Captian's retinue.
》He thinks of the life he once lived on Guisorn III more than he would admit. And ruminates over a life he could have had there. Heinrix keeps himself busy with his duties in order to alleviate a wandering mind.

Kulapari Blog Name: Candied Scorpian
I have not watched Rise of the Kings because Hulu is in the US{It is new so I couldn't even pirate it}-
but I sure love Stinger, so even with spoilers I was excited- IS THAT A SNAKE IN THE GIF??? I just noticed that
but anyways, for a small fandom 'Edit for a dead fandom' I can make edits, idk how to get the clips.... Right theirs on clips of stinger in one pirated site that has season 2
I accidentally watches epidose one of season 2 back in lockdown before kipo was uploaded... Oooh the memories of rewatching this before I slept.
Im still gonna make shitty drafts and post it on ao3, idk what happened, but ill just give stinger amnesia and meet some half scorpian half snakes Hehe! <3
Also bit of a headcanon that Their a emperor scorpia(They are in West Africa...) Idk, maybe other scorpians would assume, or another animal incorrectly guessing. I couldn't find a scorpian in austrailio I liked. Emperor sounded cool- and no ones arguing with me... Ik its someones pet peeve, but hey from reddit the show sucked, and I might still enjoy watching it. My work is gonna be as bad as the writing, also how friendly empoerer scorpians are HAH XD
... I kinda added that their was a disease that just never gets talked about, and eveyrones just, monotone, tired, depressed, something with slow mating cycles and infertility and miscarriges.......... From what I learned empowers are usually aggressive after giving birth, so maybe that anger is channeled to fighting, belief of a lord that is survival and nature is cruel. or smth dark, and oc in the makaign for that.

Concept writing of my oc with a placeholder name Magma- for volcano room
Magma is self-aware and quiet, easily accepting of failures, and accepts that not everyone will be a good person and do what they're fully capable of, but they understand they should still stand up for others. They like to argue when they fully research a specific topic, and will trauma dump at a moment's notice to keep the conversation going, they are extremely sensitive so any jokes at others' expense, just when it's directed at them – they quit side eyes – but with someone else is also in the butt of the joke they'll sting. They tend to hold grudges rather than holding others' hands out of awkwardness, having a hard time asking for help. They can bottle all their emotions up, and that leads to… More panic attacks and stinging a frog{Fear of water from threatening to be drowned from an accidental party bash, and misses the hot springs gifted from Chinese scorpion} they acted on it from stinging a frog helping them get to the other side{inspired by Tumblr short story{Lost it}.. They struggle with misinformation, everyone knowing the obvious royalty or power core, and the struggle of political disinterest and being the eldest to have to take the crown and responsibility. He can be bitter about others being wrong or not that self-aware, always keeping to themselves, but the inevitable panic of intrusive thoughts of accidentally murdering someone. They Value and adore it when people like them and know their bad, or even stay, to be listened to is nice and they can only be so much. They can come across as sweet, sometimes a bit obvious to their surroundings, or forgetful souls, but on other occasions, they can play the oblivious card. While plating obliviousness has its wins when seen as stupid, they tend to be insecure about the existence of their responsibility, but not exactly knowing how to not be the cause of corruption, assassinated siblings, letting things go bad, or secretly being power-hungry. Despite all of this, their family loves the self-isolating ‘Sun’ Daughter, and the people see them as having humility and being well educated but a person(forgetting, being neutral and self-aware of their bias on their interviews in boarding school.). They put others' needs before themselves, the weaker their friends, but an enemy could just die.

Little Concubine
Media The Last Legion
Character Romulus Augustus
Couple Romulus X Reader
Rating Flirty
Concept Visiting
I yawned pushing myself up from my bed leaving the many silky layers behind on the bed, I went first of course across the marble floor of my room checking the temperature of the bath with my toe finding it nicely warm so I climbed down into the fresh warm water I took my fresh cloth and scrubbed the sweat from the night away at times using the flow of water from the wall to wash down my body like a shower. Once all done I climbed out and picked out one of my pretty dresses slipping it on over me even if it left little to the imagination given it was small, thin and sheer with only a few small gold pieces to hold it all together. I took a goblet and filled it with wine heading out to the balcony to watch the flowers and trees in the palace garden. Once I finished my drink I headed back into my room sitting on the chamise and gently plunking at the strings of my harp to play a gentle song. I plaid for a good while not sure how long exactly but It kept me busy until I heard the familiar sound of footsteps so I got to my feet going to the door to stand waiting it quickly opened two guards in gold and red marched in then a familiar face.
The young emperor himself in his usual fine gold clothes to match his golden hair, he had two more guards behind him all four men stood barricading the door.
"Your grace" I curtsied low
"There she is" he smiled bolting over picking me up in his arms lifting me off the floor to spin us around making me squeal between laughs "My beautiful Little concubine" he Cooed Letting me put my feet back on the floor "I've missed you"
"I always miss you" I smiled
"Go on I'm safe, you boys can wait outside," he told the guards but none moved "out!" He demanded and three of them left "Marcellus. Don't make me have to cut another finger off for disobeying me you're running pretty low on that hand as it is" he warned and begrudgingly Marcellus stroked his hand missing three fingers already he huffed and left leaving us alone "That's better,"
"It is" I smiled
"Humm I knew getting you that dress was a good idea" he smirked looking at me as he bit his bottom lip hard
"Does it please you, your grace?"
"Very much" he smirked "You always look so beautiful, especially when I haven't seen you in a while"
"My Empoer is always very busy"
"Not too busy for my favourite little concubine" he smirked rubbing his nose on my own "Come on let's go cuddle up"

Empowered Women - The Unstoppable Force
Women empowerment is a world-wide movement that advocate equal access to rights for all women. It can have a major impact on the world and can break this cycle of misery. An empowered woman knows her strengths and loves her wholeheartedly. She recognizes her shortcomings and can be patient with herself if she makes a mistake or fails to achieve an objective. Self-awareness Women are becoming more vocal in speaking out and insisting on equality in all aspects of their lives. Yet, despite this progress, the fight for empowerment remains far from being over. Conference lineups, leadership teams and speaking roles continue to have a tendency to favor male voices over female ones. One method to counter this is to develop self-awareness. This helps you recognize mistakes and prevent them from escalating into situations. Self-confidence Women empowerment is about developing a woman's sense of self-worth in her decision-making ability as well as her ability to influence social change. This includes her welfare including essential and developmental requirements (as as per Maslow theory) access to opportunities and resources, knowledge and participation. An empowered woman sets her goals for both short and long-term, and is not afraid to make a risk. She also knows that she must love her own imperfections and flaws. Self-love Empowered women know that vulnerability is a crucial factor in a healthy self-love. They aren't afraid to talk about their weaknesses and strengths however, they pay attention to being aware of how they talk to themselves as well as others. They also establish good boundaries. For instance, they could offer themselves praise for throwing the perfect bridal shower for their cousin, only to promptly signal-boost her if she does something. Self-care Empowered women are confident in their identities and are firm in their decisions. They are also incredibly generous in their time, money and resources to causes that they believe in. Self-care is as simple as allowing yourself to reset yourself by doing something that feels nourishing to you. This can be physical or emotional, or spiritual. Equal gender representation is a crucial component of achieving the global development targets, and therefore the empowerment of women is vital. Self-reliance Women empowerment involves providing women with the power to make decisions as well as access to opportunities and resources, as well as control over their lives, both inside and out of the home. These elements are crucial to enhancing women's lives and their families. Women are taking a stand against gender discrimination and it's crucial to help women in this fight. Empowering women leads to healthier, happier and more productive communities. Self-respect Empowered women are an asset to be reckoned with. Women who are leaders within their respective fields and can make a significant difference in the lives of people around them. They are also confident of their own worth and are able to defend the things they believe in. Empowering women can begin right within your community. Write a note of thanks to that teacher who encouraged you for years; or offer an appreciation to the woman in the class that is always smiling; or say to your own daughter, sister, or mother how you're proud of her. Self-governance While reading personal development books, or taking classes on self-growth an empowered woman will take her own learning into her own hands. She searches for her purpose and sets out to live her life in an environment that aligns with it. She's always ready to signal-boost other women. She is aware of conferences, leadership teams, speaking roles, and media sourcing overwhelmingly prioritize men as well as male voice. Self-expression Women are at the heart of the global issue and must to be empowered in order to address them. This starts at home, in the workplace, and in our communities. This includes understanding that women have the right to receive a fair and equal pay for their jobs, and having the courage to request what they're worth. Rothy's is proud to be part of a movement helping women become empowered at work and in other areas. Self-reflection Women who engage in self-reflection are able to understand their strengths and limitations. This allows them to react to situations that are difficult with purpose instead of emotion or desire. It is important to make time for reflection and incorporate it into your routine. It will help you move along the path of becoming more empowered. Be a positive influence on women around you, and help their voices.

Self-advocacy Women must be empowered on all fronts which includes economic and social. When they feel empowered, they are more productive and bring positive changes to society. Leaders teams, conference lineups and speaking assignments overwhelmingly focus on male voices. So if you see this happening, shout out to other women. This will help them be heard and receive the respect they deserve. It also helps raise awareness. Video credits: YouTube
