Continuing this ask! Because I reached the word limit on the other part of it, aha...

4. Original Trilogy. Of course, I had to have this on my list, they're the movies that started it all! Who would have thought the cultural impact these films would've had on the world? Time and time again, I'm impressed by the visual effects and special effects that went into making these films. They didn't have the technology we have today, so it's just so cool to see how they worked around their problems and came up with solutions to really make it seem that the characters were in a galaxy far, far away. The soundtracks in these films are absolutely amazing and though I think the acting *is* a little bad and amusing at times, these are nice comfort films for me to just sit down and enjoy. I love the messages of hope and second chances that these films convey, and though they aren't perfect, I appreciate and cherish these movies a lot. 5. Clone Wars. Last but not least! My favorite thing about this series outside of the characters is how much MORE it gives to Star Wars as a whole. It fills in blanks, answers questions, and gives it so much lore that it makes the prequels all the more heartbreaking. I really do adore the characters in this series a lot, though headcanons and art made it seem like certain characters had more screen time or interactions with other characters than they actually did, and it’s very easy to see why so many of these characters from this series are fan favorites (like Ahsoka and Rex). Yeah, some topics aren’t handled well and the Clones, in my opinion, look nothing like Tem (seriously, did they even USE any references for the models??) but nothing’s perfect, right? I do enjoy everything it does for Star Wars though, like what the hell was Order 66, “oh here’s some information on the background Jedi you see in the prequels,” and so on. The series is overall just a nice touch to the franchise that’s beloved by fans all over for a reason.

With the Doctor Who Christmas special Twice Upon A Time now less than a week away and since there's a new Star Wars movie in theaters, I thought it might be a good time to revisit a nifty Doctor Who/Star Wars connection. The Doctor Who Christmas special is rumored to somehow tie into the 1966 classic Doctor Who serial The Tenth Planet (as evident by the setting and that many of the original roles from that serial have been recast). So what's the Star Wars connection? One of the spacesuits worn in The Tenth Planet serial was later re-purposed as the costume for the bounty hunter Bossk in The Empire Strikes Back. I don’t know about you, but I definitely need to revisit this serial before watching the Christmas special.

1980年に公開された「スター・ウォーズ エピソード5/帝国の逆襲」の制作風景や出演俳優のインタビューを収めた「The Making of “The Empire Strkes Back”」は、「帝国の逆襲」で技術スタッフを務めたミシェル・パルボット氏によるドキュメンタリームービーです。このムービーは公開されず、フィルムも行方不明だったため、その存在は都市伝説として扱���れていました。しかし、フィルムが38年の時を経て発見されて、オークションで落札されたものがYouTubeに資料として公開されています。
