I’ve spent more than a healthy amount of time brainstorming a remake of Empire of Dreams that fixes it’s shortcomings and inconsistences and adding a bunch of story; Why? I don’t know honestly...

Two major changes: -Huepow would get switched out for Maruji, it eliminates the glaring plothole while giving a benched concept character time to shine. -Another concept they left out, Purea the jester, would get to antagonize Klonoa on his journey since there was no one stopping him in the original.

One thing that’s stuck with me ever since I watched Empire of Dreams, the feature-length documentary about the production of the original Star Wars trilogy included in the box-set I got for Christmas one year, is the level of secrecy they went to for the reveal.

Before the movie came out, it’s likely that a single-digit number of people knew the truth. George Lucas, Irvin Kershner, Lawrence Kasdan, Mark Hamill, and James Earl Jones are the only ones confirmed to know what Vader said in the film’s iconic climax prior to the film’s release.

Everybody else had a fake script with a different line in, including David Prowse, the man actually in the Darth Vader suit. Vader’s lines being recorded separately and dubbed over the scenes in the edit allowed them to hide the truth, only giving Jones the correct script and telling Hamill what he was actually meant to be reacting to shortly before they filmed the scene.

The fake line was “Obi-Wan killed your father,” for the record.

Mark, of course, gave an appropriately anguished reaction to Vader’s reveal of his true parentage, but I can’t help but wonder what Prowse and the other in-the-dark members of the cast and crew thought about it. Did they think he was really overdoing it for a relatively minor “Nuh-uh, wasn’t me, he did it” reveal?

Hello! I decided to do a research presentation on the "cannibalism" tag and it's relations to the MCYT communities on AO3! I looked into time frames, overall fandom data, individual character data and made a hopefully coherent conclusion on the information I gathered. I will be posting a link to my very messy excel file where I stored the base information via reblog, so check the notes.

I used canva for the statistics graphs and indesign to put this together... And a big big thank you and a shout out to my very good friend @theslyvoid9 who made 99% of the drawings used in this presentation and who also helped me look up data!!!

I hope you enjoy this little project of ours! Also please remember that this was made in pure fun, so please don't be rude to anyone. If there are typos or weird number errors, or if we missed out on some SMPs I am very sorry ^_^
