I personally look at JJ and say "you had Soul of the Dragon, literally the best exposure you could have had, and you barely did anything in it." That doesnt even cover my other issues with SotD but that's neither here nor there.

I have everh confidence Olivia will be so much better in the Return, and I look forward to it.

It's partly why I think the whole "WHAT ABOUT JJ??????" thing is less people liking JJ as a character and more just liking the idea that JJ could lead to stories set in SPD and its timeframe. Because really, I never even saw fanart of JJ until people were suddenly drawing him with Olivia to show support or whatever lol you cannot tell me that Plot Device Jr. actually had fans who liked him for HIM outside of his parents or power set.

It's why Minh was a far superior legacy character and Olivia absolutely will be too, because their stories will actually be about THEM

Scrolling the motu tag, I see many people praising your work (ill be looking at it shortly) so I wanted to inquire if you had any advice on writing some of the characters? Specifically:

Adam, Adora, Randor, and ol Bonehead himself. I have a story in mind and 2 pages of notes, now its just..writing...

I wouldn't consider myself any kind of authority on how fictional people should be characterized. Masters of the Universe is a line of action figures first and foremost and I feel like they should be considered action figures before people start debating what's "canon" for them.

In "canon" Skeletor has been a demon from another dimension, a servant of Dark Gods, an apprentice to Hordak, the estranged uncle of our hero, a victim of racism, a hero to his people who lost his wife and daughter, and a privileged and spoiled prince. Many of these contradict each other. There is no "right" answer.

My best advice to you would be to play with the characters.

I don't mean literally go out and buy the toys, I mean play with different ideas and scenarios for the characters in your head. Pick your favorite and make them the focus. Or, figure out what aspect unites your favorite characters and build a story around that.

Okay...one, I seriously love your stuff. I was just looking for some of my fav ships, stumbled upon your page...it's addicting. There are only 2 ships I like as much in all of yugioh (soulshipping and blueshipping). I dont think I have seen anything on this, but what is your take on Bonds Beyond Time and how the rest of 5Ds handled being told Yusei dueled alongside ATEM and Judai? I imagine them collectively going like “YOU DID WHAT?!?!” while Yusei talks about it like “no big deal” x°° delightful scene. I also imagine that Yusei does try to see if they’re alive somewhere in their world (I can’t remember how many years passed according to the canon timeline, but I’m pretty sure Yugi and Jaden are supposed to be alive). The main question would be if they remember about him, I would personally have no idea!

I agree honestly, a Yusei vs Yami is something I would pay to see. I get that Atem is that one protagonist no one is “supposed” to beat, but I am so ready to see that duel that it wouldn’t bother me to see Yusei lose. I’d be okay with that. It would still be an amazing duel. With all the due special effects and supernatural powers, lol. (I’d also be very okay with a Yusei win or a tie hahahaha)

Oooooh you like Dark Arisen!?!? I have loved everything about Dragons Dogma and have been looking for a way to implement sone of that media! (I never played the games because system limitations. Always a buy the game or almost buy it, the console to play it on dies. Sadness)

With that said, did you have a favorite archetype for your Arisen? If the Monsterverse were to be Arisen what would they be? The fact you are into it has sparked a sudden interest to ask about it so...SORRYNOTSORRY!

It's not often I buy multiple console versions of the same game... Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is that game. I really do hope for a sequel that isn't DD: Online, and adds some of the things that could've been in the original like a Monk vocation or BEASTMEN. You cannot imagine how sad it made me to learn that we could've customized our Arisen to look like a BIG BEEFY ORC LADY OR A HUGE BEEFY LION MAN. WHO CAN ROMANCE ANYONE. That one time the game couldn't decide who my Beloved was would've been hilarious and amazing.

I tend to favor the hybrid classes; Mystic Knight and Assassin are my favorites (right now I'm kinda roleplaying my Arisen as the daughter of a former Westron Labrys bandit who got tired of banditry (and also the misandry) and decided to settle down in Cassardis with a guy she liked). Next time I'll probably try to get a snapshot of her.

As for Arisen!Titans, Goji would either be a Warrior or Mystic Knight, Ghidorah would definitely be a Mystic Knight, Rodan's the Strider (or a Magick Archer), Mothra's the Mage (healing and nuking), and Kong's the Fighter.

What I like is the fact that both Nodt and Ulquiorra have their similarities. Also, I may be biased, but could it be possible that some of these Quincy have abilities that'd make them weak against the Espada? Think about it, each Espada had a unique talent, and depending on how they where matched up that talent nullifies the Quincy powers.

People say that he is scary, but honestly when I saw his face I started laughing. Dunno maybe it’s because of all the crack I saw in the bleach tag. He reminds me of Samara too. i don’t know if I like him but he sure is creepy. o_o; What kind of annoyed me is that Byakuya came to save Rukia. You can take it either way. “OMG BYAKUYA IS BACK!” or “GOODAMNIT KUBO GIVE THE POOR GIRL THE RECOGNITION SHE DESERVES.” Mixed feelings about this chapter,mixed feelings.

I like your theory. The only problem is that most of the espadas are dead -_-;; So basically we have Grimmjow, Harribel maybe Nell and hopefully Ulquiorra if he comes back. I sure do not want to see Loly fight alongside the main cast. Can this bitch die in a fire or something??

Honestly my first thought was that he somehow stole Ulquiorra’s release but then I remembered but they can’t steal the power of a hollow. Would be a nice  mindfuck surprise though if he somehow did that.It would mean that he is still alive ;^; Yes yes I desperatelly want to see him come back I know.

Is it bad I read the current events in the comics and think "wow...you know my AU fic in development hell that has Dark Specter just be a literal eldritch nightmare who turned a master of disguise into a Lovecraftian villain who takes the name Ivan before going to Earth to use its unique position in the stars to destroy the Morphin Grid" is actually decent storytelling?

There's something to be said about modern PR attempting to "explain" concepts that have been theorized on and developed and re-imagined by fans with free rein for over thirty years. Not to say fan ideas are automatically BETTER than what's now canon by the comics and show, but it's easy to see why fans would feel underwhelmed by what's been given

Hm? I'm not sure... If they're from other dimensions I don't see anything going wrong. As far as I know though I could be the only, currently, living Dukemon in my  Digital world. I don't know what happened to the previous one that Omegamon encountered, or even if there was a previous one.
