“el, this is the third cornfield this month.” you get it, he wants to be abducted, but this is dramatic. “i get that you don’t wanna do your school stuff, this is just a bit much.” not to mention inconvenient. picking eldon up from random cornfields is hard when you don’t have a car. luckily, though, you’ve got an imp. you glance behind you, though in the dark of night you barely see him. a gentle red glow emanates from his eyes, the rest of what you can see no longer looking like the man you know. no, he’s fully transformed, in perfect shape to carry two teenagers from a cornfield to wherever it is they’re staying for the night. “just ‘cause you’re friends with a flying demon doesn’t mean he’s free travel.” then again, would he ever say no? you doubt it. ash just likes to spend time with you guys, a burger is all he asks in return. like refilling the gas of a car when you borrow it, you just gotta keep him running.

“eldon, you know i support you and all your alien stuff but this is..” their room is filled with newspaper clippings and books, not to mention a couple of blow up alien dolls that just sit in the corner. and right in the middle is eldon, looking almost tiny between the stuff piled up around him. “i mean, when’s the last time you even slept?”

In fact, it’d take him all of thirty seconds to do this, giving himself two minutes is just being a bit generous. He hovers in the doorway a little longer. In fact, he could’ve gone and checked the mail a couple of times by now. “Yeah, I probably shouldn’t have said that, I’ve scared myself a little bit.” And with that he closes the door, staying inside and proceeding to sit down next to Eldon.

“so you believe in aliens?” she asks, keen observation skills noting the millions of alien books and pictures she’s sure she’s seen the boy with over time, not to mention that she knows that he’s the president of the astrology club. a kid like that has to believe in aliens. you can’t study space without believing in aliens. she’s decided to mess with him, because apparently that’s what she does these days. she gives an awkward smile, looking around a moment before sitting next to him. “i mean, i understand the desire to believe in them, especially when it’s clear life could be sustained on other planets, but surely aliens on earth is a little bit of a stretch?” for once in her life she’s trying to act suspicious, convincing him she’s an alien could be the most entertaining after school activity in beacon hills.
