The conversation had been abrupt enough that it startled the brunette, having her turn on a dime and whipping around to face him. Her Delphox, Merlin, whipped out his wand in a way that he could be half protective of Ashe in stance but also let off a warning of sorts with gaze alone that the man had better back off, flames sparking at the end of it, and the Delphox moving his head slowly in a way that sharp eyes were locked straight onto the blond’s. 

Taking a moment to compose herself and register the question, she felt her Empatheon’s ribbon slide around her arm while also sharp blue eyes from him met the man as well, fur bristling. “... Who’s asking... and why...?”

Ashe might have caught sight of Sabrina wandering about and immediately hid herself. She doesn't know the extent of her powers but at least appear small -- try too -- she tells herself. It doesn't help her Empatheon is with her and he's radiating the biggest psychic energy of all. He doesn't seem as bothered as his trainer for reasons unknown, but his trainer... she does. In a small clearing of a dark forest, a strange meeting occured. A meeting quite odd, indeed. The empatheon was not supposed to be in an area like that, in fact the luxray had only the slightest clue of what the smaller pokemon was. It took quite some explaining, initially, the house pet not really knowing much about the larger pokemon either. What happens when a plush city pet gets stuck in the mountains with only a stoic loner? And why are they there? What will this life turn out like? Find out within.

-- Muse Ramblings: Ashe

Honestly I don't think I talk much about how nervous and desperate Ashe was for validation from others, herself, and really how scared she was to exist. She really had never found herself until she went to the Crown Tundra and got sick and in doing so at death's door met Leon. It's because of Leon that she found the courage that she saw him wield to stand fast against the storm she had brewing and really just... be true to her own heart.

Really there is no right way to describe Ashe except she's gone from a scared little girl to a unpredictable but vibrant woman who has to be met and felt through actions and adventure then words. Words are used for communicating and they also mean so much, but actions also mean just as much. It really humbles me as a mun to take a step back and just see how far she's come over the last few years i've played her.

( I want to pinpoint yes she is still a self-insert trainersona mix, but she's also grown much more then I have and I find myself as a person struggling to keep up with her, but it's something I aim to do because I, too, want to live vibrantly and true to myself and not feel shackled down by my own feelings and mind. )

To watch her real 'start' from Paldea's Area Zero arc where I finally made the decision to evolve Lucky into a Sylveon ( at the time I chose Empatheon because I thought Sylveon didn't fit, but in the end Sylveon did end up being the final choice ) because of the fact she was finally ready to take a leap of faith and love herself and really show her heart to the world, she's done leaps and bounds from the PWT where she still did fairly well ( better then Leon, actually! ) and went onto claim Champion Rank title in several regions where she held a fear of challenging the Elite Four due to a past incident.

She's also allowed herself to open up to people and start trusting more -- going as far as trusting humans such as Jackson despite everything that she's experienced, and on top of that, actually want to leave the confines of her home which, in the beginning, it took Kianga or Leon to drag her out. Now it's her dragging them out to a point they're more or less exhausted, lmao!

We're now moving just out of the two events from September/October and finishing up the Kitakami Arc where we see Ashe actually having an effect on Ogerpon to want to be better as well.

All in all I just wanted to gush about my main muse and honestly i'm just... really humbled to have seen her come so far in a short time. I honestly can't wait to see what twists and turns are going to come with the Indigo Disk arc since she's a Blueberry Academy alumni and not to mention the PWT 2024 as well as the Sinnoh New Years Festival 2024 is coming up.

Also... her and Leon's wedding?! Still need to plan that, but... soon... SOON.

-- Ashe: Steel-Type Allergy

Besides seasonal allergies like anyone else, Ashe has a major allergy to steel-types. She relies heavily on Morgan’s Blessing, the oil that her mother made to help treat the steel that steel-types grow on their bodies, or they’re made of... but pray tell, what does Ashe do if she has to deal with ‘normal people and their pokemon’ so to speak without giving away her secret of being a Changeling? 

 If she can, she’s going to stay away from the pokemon, but let’s say she has a gym battle she has to overcome, well, that falls into items that Ashe has purchased and had coated. Her butterfly clip she wears during the warmer months is one of these items. It provides a shield of sorts to this allergy -- at least for a time. At most she can’t spend more then a week in a place full of steel-types without taking better measures which would require more items she’s coated.

When it comes to multiverse shenanigans or event-type things, Ashe still remains a Changeling but being she’s more or less sleeping in her timeline and projecting herself into another, she remains unaffected and it means she’s unable to use any magic either. This explains why her pokemon all look like normal pokemon that are commonly widespread ( ie. Lucky being an Empatheon but appearing as a Sylveon while he was present during the PWT ‘23. )

-- HC: The Eeveelution Project

Ashe has a off-hand project besides her main studies of every pokemon she can get her hands on/befriend and that’s the study of Eeveelutions. It began with Lucky’s evolution into an Empatheon, a psychic/fairy type under unusual circumstances and who is her partner, first pokemon, and do-or-die best friend. It is her belief that there are all kinds of Eeveelutions out there and that they are capable of great and wonderous things. Later he would settle finally into a Sylveon, but the fact that there were dual-types has driven this project still.

DISCLAIMER: Below are a list of the Eeveelutions I consider canon to my verse and if they are designed by someone, as also where they would be found in my verse. They can be considered common to rare at this point. If at all we get canonical eeveelutions they will be swapped out accordingly... Also if I find more appealing eeveelution fakemon, I made swap them out as well.

Flareon - Fire-type, first recorded in Kanto

Ah, thank you. It’s not me this time, it’s Tumblr. For whatever reason, when I share a link to one of my posts, the link is redirected to in-progress Feebas. This seems to happen on Androids only. I have no idea why this is happening, as the links are correct. But apparently if you scroll down, the right post will be underneath the Feebas post. 

I’ve written to Tumblr support to try to figure out this odd issue. So we’ll uh, see how that goes. In the mean time, I guess I’ll start adding a disclaimer when I post a link??
