Poor Sam, I clung to her arm and stole her attention from everyone else. Choso came up to her for after-school notes, and I put my hand up to his face to shut him up and said;

"No. Not today, emo boy. I'm sorry I am stealing my girl away — we're going to go rob a bank and then catch a flight to Italy — Sam why are you laughing? Stop laughing, I'm actually quite serious."

Poor Choso, he was confused as he always is.

I complained about life and my problems to Sam and she nodded and hummed in understanding, only half-listening because I was in one of those dramatic moods that couldn't be taken seriously.

We went to the library for no reason except that we knew Satoru and Suguru were there. Sam had a big crush on Suguru so I was trying to do her a solid and break the ice between them. She didn't have the courage to approach him herself. I didn't get why. I told her life is short, one day you'll be in a coffin, so you should talk to hot guys while you can.

Anyways, I wasn't sure about those two. Suguru's detachedness annoyed me, because when I'd talk to him during class he'd sort of recede into his shell — his shell being Satoru.

And Satoru? I liked him, yes sure. I was ashamed to like the guy that the whole school liked, so I made a joke out of it — I think he thought I was joking when I flirted with him because I exaggerated everything to the point of sounding like a joke.

During mid-year, things got steamy but nothing more happened. We definitely shared a spark in April but now it fizzled out and I was desperately trying to relight it. Flirting during class? No I wanted to flirt outside of the classroom. I wanted to flirt in his bedroom.

"Alright, Sam. My girl. This is what you do; you go up to Suguru and say "Be my husband." okay?"

"You're funny."

"Hm... yeah actually, on second thought, marriage is an awful idea. Never get married — this is my granny advice to you; don't get married. CHOSO WE MEET AGAIN!"

"Oh god." he walked in the other direction.

"DON'T GO! DON'T YOU WANT TO FUCK IN THE BACK OF THE HOT TOPIC?" I yelled after him. I don't think he's heard that Ayesha Erotica song so I think he just thought I was crazy and yelling outrageous stuff.

"YOU'RE CRAZY." he yelled back, "Anyways, you still on for later?"

"Yes I'm turned on for later — wait what? Yes. I'm still on for later. I'm bringing Sam with, too, even if I have to drag her by her leg. Sam?"

Choso left, and then I returned my attention to Sam who was pretending to read a book because Suguru and Satoru were glancing over.

"See, they're looking at us. You know what that means? They're obsessed." I said, "Kidding. Fuckin' kidding. I think I talked too loudly." I laughed at myself.

"I think Suguru reads classics... do you know any classics?" Sam asked, skimming the book spines with her eyes.

"Yes — Dostoyevsky but man he's a fucking pain to read. Anyways, Suguru probably only reads hardcore smut." I joked. "Anyways, stop stalling — let's go say hi before Satoru and Suguru fall into a void."

"What? No way. NONONONONO DON'T DRAG ME—"

"Hey boys~!" I greeted them and invited myself to the free seat next to Satoru. I crossed my legs, made a motion of flipping my hair (it was tied up) and encouraged Sam to sit, too.

They greeted us, we four talked for a bit. Shoko came around, and sat down next to me and we put our legs on each other. I was as comfortable with her as I was with Sam, which was a nice feeling.

Satoru stole my glasses off my face, so I stole his sunglasses off and wore them.

I couldn't see without my glasses, so I told him he was the hottest man I'd ever seen.

He had a smug response and nodded. Then he realized.

"Hey wait a minute."

"Wow that took you a while." I laughed. "Give me my glasses back — hey you fucking smudged them you absolute cunt. Oh my god... worst day ever... I'm gonna cry... anyways."

I cleaned the lenses with my t-shirt but they just got more and more smudged so I narrowed my eyes and kept wiping the lenses.

Suguru, Shoko and Sam commented on this moment between us.

"You two should date."

"Nah, she'd turn me into an ex real fast." Satoru said immediately.

"Boy, I'd turn you into a triple-ex." I said and winked.

He shook his head. I put on some chapstick. I felt eyed out. I looked to the side and surely there was Satoru staring very obviously.

"What? What are you staring at, perv?" I sassed, "You want some of my chapstick?"

"Hell yeah." he leaned in. His lips quivered when I put my chapstick to his lips. "Oh that smells good."

"It's Chupa-Chups." I said. He hummed and inhaled.

Satoru kept his lips parted while I applied the chapstick.

"You smell good too. 'That your perfume?" he asked.

"Yes. Vanilla."

"Why are they always flirting?" Suguru asked out loud.

"I dunno." Sam shrugged.

"We're not flirting." Satoru said.

"It is what it is." I said at the same time.

My mouth fell open. Satoru giggled at my reaction. I still had my mouth open, to emphasize my shock. We're not flirting?

"Close ya mouth, Jay, you'll attract cock." Satoru said.

"Wow! I'm so over you, Satoru!" I said.

I scooted and scooted my chair away from Satoru on the carpeted library floor. Satoru blatantly stared at my jiggling breasts. The other library goers looked irked by the laughter coming from our table.

"Shoko, want my chapstick instead?" I offered. She started giggling.

"What about me?" Suguru said.

I made an awkward noise, "Sorry I don't fuck with Satoru Besties." I joked quickly, noting Sam's expression.

We all headed out the library to talk because Shoko and I wanted to have a smoke.

"... and it pisses me off!" I finished complaining about something to Shoko and we exchanged the cigarette. She took her turn puffing on it.

"Damn, you complain a lot." Satoru commented.

I gave him a look.

"Yeah, care to shut me up with your co— I'm sorry I'm joking I'm kidding." I put my hands up.

Satoru shrugged, "I mean, I can do that for you if you want." he flirted.

I pulled my round glasses down and gave him the look.

"Right here? Right now? Because you know I'd be on my knees any time and place for you, boy." I winked.

"Yeah yeah, your bark is bigger than your bite." Satoru dismissed.

"Wanna come find out?" I said, "Because I think I could slut ya out."

He looked at me with wide eyes — I couldn't judge if he was turned on or just thought I was being outrageous.

"Haha, Satoru you're going red in the face." Suguru laughed. I smiled smugly. Satoru went silent. It feels good to out-flirt a flirt.

Sam was making heart eyes at Suguru. I was trying to figure out some witty joke to say to bring them together, but it just didn't work out. I tripped over my own words and then covered it up with a long, exaggerated noise.

But they ended up going off somewhere together, talking about Dostoyevsky. I thought that was quite romantic.

Shoko let me steal another cigarette off her. Satoru was complaining about our smoke smelling awful.

"Yeah but you'd still kiss me even with smoky breath." I said.

He hummed flirtatiously. Oh shit I did something.

"Uh, I'll give you two some space." Shoko laughed, then left us alone together.

"Oh god." I whined. "Shoko please."

"What's that grimace for?" Satoru narrowed his eyes at me.

"Well I looove flirting with you but I hate being alone with you." I groaned. "Each minute spent with you is a year off my life span."

"I can't tell if you're joking or not, Jay." he laughed.

Oh. I made him laugh.

"I can't tell if I'm joking or not, either, Satoru." I sighed.

"Oh, shiiit don't say my name like that." he purred, "You'll turn me on."

"Yeah?"

Is he joking around? Are we flirting flirting?

"Yeah..." he came closer, leaned down and pushed his sunglasses up the bridge of his nose. "You know what I think? I think you're not as big of a freak in bed as you've claimed. I bet you're a virgin or something."

I let out a laugh. "Nahhh! I'm a freak freak. The shit I'm into will make you look like a vanilla bitch. And although I may be a virgin — "

Satoru laughed. "Ah, I knew it. You're a virgin freak."

Satoru made a toothy grin and leaned down closer. His breath smelled like the hard candies he always sucked on during the day. My cheeks were burning.

"What if I'm into that?" I moved my body suggestively. My knee nudged his thigh.

He gave me a doubting grin.

"Well... let's see about that at the party tonight, yeah?" he rasped.

"Fine." I sassed.

"Fine." he smirked. "See you tonight then."

"Okay. Whatever." rolled my eyes. "Don't be fucking late to the party, by the way you useless idiot."

"No promises." he winked as he backed away.

As soon as Satoru left, I let out a silent scream and bounced around like I just won the lotto. Funny, Choso came around the corner. He witnessed my little moment.

"What theee hell."

"Oh hey Choso. Small campus, huh?"

"Yeah this makes like what, three times we've encountered each other today?" he said.

"It's a sign from god, Choso; we're meant to be. The emo freak and the virgin freak. Match made in heaven." I said.

He stared at me with his heavy, indecipherable eyes. "Are you just horny all the time?"

"Yes." I answered straightly. "Sorry if I'm a bit much. I'll stop if it makes you uncomfortable." I went serious for a second.

He stuttered, "No, no — it's hot, I enjoy it. Just not used to being on the receiving end of this kind of attention." he looked away.

"Anyways, are you really coming tonight?" he asked with a light in his eyes, needy for an answer.

reasons Jujutsu Kaisen is really good actually I swear please I'm not just weird I promise:

every character has comedic potential. all of them. EVERYONE has at least one moment of being the funniest character present.

even the incredibly overpowered characters have downsides to their powers that actually limit what they can do. my wife Gojo is The Strongest Sorcerer, but he's also TOO strong: when he goes into battle, he HAS to go alone, because his powers are too destructive. Yuta can copy any technique/spell/power, but there's a hard time limit, and he uses up energy fast. Conversely, some of the most respected and accomplished sorcerers in this world have comparatively weak powers (Mei Mei) or none at all (Kusakabe, Maki).

Itadori Yuji is a very good boy. That's all.

this is a series essentially about child soldiers. every single adult involved in raising/training these child soldiers cares So Fucking Much about their safety and innocence. The teachers, the principals, the managers, Nanami and Ino, they just want these kids to be safe while they study and fight. Even Mei, arguably the character most likely to be horrible about other people's morals, respects Yuji's refusal to hurt human beings.

some people will tell you Fushiguro Megumi is weak or annoying. they are assholes. My infant emo son Megumi is deeply traumatized and broken and he needs his best friend's help. also he keeps trying to sacrifice himself and everyone keeps stopping him and it's SO funny to me. You Are Not Allowed To Die, Boy.

the majority of the students love a woman or girl so much that they would commit atrocities for her. a sister, a mother, a mentor, a best friend, and in one case that breaks my fucking heart every time, a fellow student he had a crush on, and she liked him back.

Gojo is queer. "It's never explicitly stated--" fuck that, Gojo Satoru is queer.

the neurotypes on display in this series......... there are at least two ADHD characters, Nanami is for sure autistic, and I think Mei could be read as having antisocial personality disorder? she isn't considered evil or bad for not caring about anyone else, just slightly irritating to work with.

Junpei was radicalized by an ecofascist but he was, at his core, a good boy. this is why we should take bullying seriously.

omg!! i'm so sorry it literally takes like 4 business days for me to reply to stuff x_x favorite characters like of all time? this is an impossible question to answer ��

i have too many and one simply cannot choose just one character from any show to pick as a favorite ugh. i guess i can start with the main shows my blog consists of/the shows that have a lot of different kinds of characters (each one has at least 4 omg 😭)

demon slayer

rengoku (the literal love of my life, the one who started it all, the main reason i got into anime, the cure to my depression at one point?? i get emotional just thinking about him sometimes. i go back and listen to the mugen train soundtrack just to hurt my own feelings)

shinobu (🦋 [can't add my blog tag for her cause it's an emoji but she has some of the prettiest fanart ever], gorgeous character design, color scheme, overall aesthetic, classy. she deserved more out of her life than being in a constant state of anger 😭)

inosuke (i have no tag for him but he is my fav from the main squad. he is chaotic as hell and caveman-ish in the most hilarious ways. his pretty face makes it that much more ironic)

nezuko (the cutest baddie ever. so pretty. protective of tanjiro and comrades. how can you not love her)

zenitsu (his cowardice is actually really relatable. his expressions are sooo funny in the show they've got to be one of the best)

obamitsu (i love them so much individually, i love them so much together, i literally love them so much. literally black cat and golden retriever energy in the best ways. the last episode with iguro's jealousy was so funny and such a treat omg)

jujutsu kaisen

the main trio's dynamic (i enjoy them all as individuals, but when they're together the silly antics and the chaos that ensues is so dear to me. gege was so wrong for what he did to each of them. if i ever see him it's on sight)

nanami (my man, her man, everyone and their mom's man...! literally impossible to not like him. the miserable corporate life is just so relatable. but the fact that he's still such a good man at the end of the day and wants to protect the children ;-; WHERE are the men like him irl 😭 i will never forgive gege for what he did to him,,, gege,.., when i cATcH you gege.,.,..)

ino (my ABSOLUTE FAV underrated man?? his skater boy aesthetic makes me wEAK!! and correct me if i'm wrong but he just gives off major himbo energy. he's such a puppy, i love him so much 🥺 also fun fact i met his VA, who also voices tanaka from haikyuu [i don't think i will ever shut up about this])

gojo (for obvious reasons. handsome, funny, good at everything. at the same time he cares so much for the youngins it's really touching. but also he's just so unserious about everything i wish i had even an ounce of his confidence fr. an uncontested king, he deserved better 😭)

geto (oh geto (be forewarned: only depression posts in this tag). it hurt me so bad to see his descent into madness. i think his story and especially his relationship with gojo is beautifully written. the visual symbolism is also heavenly in the most melancholic way. he reminds me a lot of eren from aot. i felt his exhaustion and hopelessness from the depths of my soul. i think about rengoku when i want to be hurt in a good(ish?) way, but geto is my go-to when i'm in the mood for straight depression)

yuta (a blorbo if I've ever seen one. so precious. very sad about his current state. if gege kills him off there will be no one left 😭)

choso (normally i don't care for emo boys but he's so 'i am onii-chan,' it's endearing and also kind of funny. other than that he's really quiet for the most part but also like responsible and cares a lot about people he's close to. i ship him and yuki. i remember finding out about his death when i'd first logged into tumblr one day and i was devastated. how does gege manage to kill everyone 😭🤡)

my hero academia

shoto (see tag: SHOTOOOOO. my favorite boy. i love how the angst just completely left his body after deku forced him through his inner turmoil during the sports festival. competent. obviously one of bones' favorites given he's always drawn so handsomely)

kaminari (he is so dumb and i love him for it. good vibes only and even if a bit perverted, still super respectful and funny. bones always animates him with the most hilarious expressions. love him and jiro. also love him and mina as last in the class. and him and kirishima for being able to handle bakugo's difficult personality in stride!! he is so stupid and happy and i love him omg)

kirishima (a himbo!! the friendliest and most encouraging jock ever. i would've appreciated if i had a presence like him around when i was in high school. so manly!! i love how he just gets along with everyone. him and tetsutetsu are such an iconic duo. i also love how silly him and kaminari are [and sometimes bakugo too lol])

jiro (she is just so cool. introverted and operates mostly on the sidelines/behind-the-scenes, which i relate to and am also most comfortable with. she's like me if i was cooler and musically talented and had a rocker girl aesthetic)

most of class A (you can't hate any of them!! except for mineta maybe but the rest are all so cute and quirky [haha 🤪] in their own way)

mirio (energetic and positive and caring and such a bright light. also very hardworking. i'd love to have someone like him around in my life)

recovery girl (funny and sweet and a badass!! we love to see an advocate for the wellbeing of young heroes in training)

present mic (he is just such a funny announcer and narrator. always has something to say and i love his energy)

vestiges kudo and en (they are just..,., so handsome..,.)

jean (a motherfucking STALLION. the man that he is ugh 😩 shoutout [and rip] to marco who is honestly the reason for his amazing character development. truthfully, i think he could've done better than mikasa at the end [and i love her but it's so obvious that she only ever had eren in her heart] but i appreciate his consistency)

hange (just wants to be left to her own devices and be her true, unhinged self. i respect it. i love how everyone also just accepts her eccentricities and no one really makes fun of her for it [except levi of course but i love their dynamic so much])

erwin (the kind of leader we all wanna see!! intelligent, competent, respectable, pragmatic but also caring and inspiring. knows how to and is capable of make difficult decisions. a charismatic pillar of the military fr. i get so emotional when i listen to eren zahyo [hiroyuki sawano the goat fr] because of his scene at the end of S2. i search it up on youtube sometimes just to feel something honestly)

bertholdt (my poor boy. got absolutely nothing except wronged 😔 it hurt me so much to see him have to be the villain in S2. another blorbo who deserved the world and was literally thrown out the window once he was killed off. justice for my boy! 😭)

sasha (i miss her so much!! she was so funny and wholesome. a simple gal with simple needs. her and niccolo were so (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) tragic ugh. it breaks my heart)

pieck (her voice!! she also voices nakamura in assclass which i talk about here later. as for her character, she is super intelligent, respectable, and admirable as a female soldier. i'm a sucker for good covert ops and she's definitely one)

colt (handsome, caring older brother to the death. i wish we saw more of him. he deserved better ;-;)

toph (a badass. witty, funny, also really smart. does whatever she wants and gives no fucks)

azula (cunning. gorgeous. a crazy bitch and i love her for it. i wanna be her so bad)

asami (gorgeous. smart. talented. hard-working. literally the whole package. you wanna hate her but you just can't??)

airbending kids (jinora, ikki, meelo. all their voices match their personalities so well?? jinora is so smart and respectful, ikki is so sociable and good at interacting with people, and meelo is hilarious. i literally want to be all of them)

mako/bolin (i love them as a duo. they balance each other out and as siblings they just make so much sense)

wing/wei (they had so much potential for content as twin himbos 😭 so handsome too. i wish we saw more of them in the show)

assassination classroom (not a big anime but 10/10 would recommend this series. it's like a shorter mostly lighthearted version of mha with the wholesome school stuff)

kayano (she's so cute. secretly crazy but for good reason!!)

kurahashi (she's literally sooo cute!! 😭 so fluffy)

nakamura (just the coolest girl ever. if i knew her irl i'd probably be intimidated by how cool she is)

takebayashi (he's kind of lame [i believe the current term for it is 'boyfailure'] but i just like him!! i can't explain why)

isogai (our fav poor class president!! he is such a nice and respectful boy)

maehara (a flirt and a playboy. i mostly only like him because he's handsome and he reminds me of kaminari from mha. i also love his friendship with isogai)

chiba/hayami (iconic sniper duo. very low key. i enjoy this introverted ship so much)

finn (the most normal™️ boy in this series. i'd love to be friends with him irl. he seems to be the only reasonable one in the group lmao. i guess he's considered kind of lame? but only cause his friends are wack jobs *affectionate*. his power is really cool and i think he deserves more interactions with his brother.)

lemon (my fav kooky girl. she'd host such a good girls' self care night imo. i feel like she deserves more attention but she's all good vibes and just so lovely)

dot (kinda crazy. almost the boy version of lemon? they give off the same chaotic energy but he's a good boy at heart and very golden retriever. he deserves the love he so wishes for!!)

Shojo Romance Anime I binged in two days?!

Do you guys ever have those friends that are just the best and they tell you about a show that you’ve never even heard of but you wind up falling completely and utterly in love with it within the first few minutes? That was me with my best friend @2oppositesidesof1coin the yesterday! I’ve been having a really rough last few days emotionally and just been physically drained after my first physics test. I needed some good old fashioned serotonin in the form of a cutesy show. So like with just about anything I talk to my friends about, of course voice actors. For those of you that don’t know, my favorite anime voice actor of all time period end of argument and I will fight you on this, is J Michael Tatum. The way that he can come off as so fun loving when I watch him do panels to his characters that he brings to life the man has changed my life in a lot of ways. So we’re talking and they told me that their favorite show with him was a romcom called Kamisama Kiss. A quick google search already had me intrigued. A supernatural romantic comedy with two of my favorite Funimation voice actors sounded like a fun time to me. A quick episode later changed my Sunday for the better.

Nanami Momozono is a typical high schooler, only whoops she’s also homeless due to her dad’s gambling problems and he’s gone a-wal. In a chance moment, she meets a stranger in the park who tells her that she can have his home after Nanami saves him from a dog. He tells her to go to the Mikage shrine. There she finds that when the stranger in the park kissed her forehead she became the land God of this shrine even though she is still mostly human. In the shrine she meets a fox demon named Tomoe (aka the baby of all tsundere’s and I LOVE him.)

Where do I even start with this show? The romance is adorable, the comedy is balls to the wall, your crying laughing and pausing the episode you’re laughing so hard. There are so many things that made me split my sides laughing due to these characters and how they interact off of one another.

3. Turn around three times and meow like a cat: I SWEAR THIS WAS SO FUNNY. Basically for a little bit of context is Kurama, the person playing land God for a distraction, is a being called a Yokai and him and Tomoe constantly bicker. I could pick any one of their arguments but this was by far my favorite part of the entire show with them interacting. (I could only find this clip in long form but I desperately wanted to find it because Tatum’s meow had a full belly laugh cackle. Your time stamp is 3:33.)

2. Make friends with the fish\Runaway ostrich : This was the first time that I laughed hysterically at this show and it’s quirky sense of comedy. Sometimes the comedy is just so random that I can’t help but laugh at it! These two scenes go together because this is one of the other forms of laugh out loud humor. I wanted to pair them together because I love them both equally and did not want to choose between them.

1. Anytime protective Tomoe came out \ possessive Tomoe. Am I kinda cheating here because this is more of a character trait? Yes, yes I am. However, it’s my list and I do what I want. I love possessive Tomoe especially because that results in a lot of adorable petty arguments with Mizuki and Kurama especially and I love that. One of my favorite moments is with the fish solider from the number just below because that was one hundred percent protective Tomoe. I love this aspect of his character so much because it means deadpan snark up the wazzo. I will give you some of my favorite examples.

Kurama: What is the emo fox boy doing here?!

Tomoe: I have a penchant for melodrama as a leisurely activity

Tomoe: Calls the villain a troglodyte because he made a sexual comment about Nanami

Tomoe: Why do I already feel something troublesome afoot? Oh right because I predicted this.

Tomoe sees that Nanami got a scar from where Mizuki left his mark on her: No need to worry I will not let him lay a finger or a scale on you.

(This includes one of my favorite things, when he turns himself into Nanami either because she can’t go to school or to play with a villain).

Alright now that that’s out of the way, lets talk more about why I binged this show so fast. One of it being the romance. As much as it painted me (Tomoe get your head out of your ass you idiot you love her, she loves you, kiss her please) I love the trope of tsundere but protective over their s\o. Like anybody that hurts the other is dead meat but they would never hurt their partner on purpose. The type that would move hell or high water for their significant other is my personal favorite role that they can ever come in. I loved Tomoe especially because he was just so cute, sweet and funny with the way that he would bicker but eventually learn to cope and deal with Nanami.

(Plus just look at his ears I want to floof them and I loved how expressive they could be depending on how he was feeling.)

But it’s not just about Tomoe. Oh no, because this is one of those occurrences where I love the female just as much as the male counterpart. Nanami is a fantastic leading lady going from being entirely useless at being a land God to being utterly powerful was something I really got behind. Most of the second season was about her learning that yes I can protect myself without the help of Tomoe. I can get myself out of this situation and I don’t need no man. This becomes especially relevant when you see young Nanami in the last episode.

In general I just loved this show so much. Be like me and go and watch it please. You will not regret it.

Demon Slayer

Why am I not surprised that Rengoku tops the list hahah. The Sun of Demon Slayer ♡

I tell you honestly, after the last season I wanted to oficially divorce Demon Slayer (I was never a fan of this series, although I liked the movie; I had too high expectations due to the hype for this series and ended a bit disappointed), but your excitement about Demon Slayer and these characters encourages me to take up this new season a shot.

At the very beginning, I didn't really like Demon Slayer's style, but only after some time I started to appreciate this aesthetic. Shinobu actually looks great. And yes, Inosuke and Zenitsu are DESTROYING ME lmaoo. I guess it's really impossible not to like Nezuko. And yes. Obamitsu. This is THE ship in Demon Slayer.

His confrontation with Deku during the Sport Festival holds a special place in my heart. I love it as much as after that the angst started to disappear from Todoroki. That's why Tododeku will always be my fav mha ship.
