It's been a while since I last announced a stream more than one day in advance...! Two years ago, I streamed Finrod as part of this stream series, and now it's time for the second rock opera based on the tale of Beren and Lúthien!

Absolute power or boundless love, pride or humility, happiness or self-destruction - the problem of human choices and their consequences shape the characters of the musical.

I was bound to stream it again one day, and since I got to see it live a while ago, now seems to be the perfect time.

Tanz der Vampire 'Dance of the Vampires' is one of THE most popular European musicals in existence. It premiered in Vienna (Austria) in 1997 and has since been performed all over the world. It features music by the late Jim Steinman and some fantastic dance sequences. We're watching the Berlin Revival with Drew Sarich as Krolock, Amelie Dobler as Sarah and Anton Zetterholm as Alfred.

You don't know German? No problem! English subtitles are included. If you haven't watched any ~European~ musical yet, this is your place to start.
