Every time I see photographs with his hair greased like this, my mind straight goes to the Madison Square Garden interview, in 1972.

REPORTER: Elvis, you seem to have less grease in your hair these days.

ELVIS: I stooped using that greasy kids' stuff just like everybody else did, man.

He looked great either way, but my favorite is no-greased-hair-Elvis. His hair looks so soft. Man, talk about wouldn't I spend a whole night caressing his head! I would smell his hair like a mom to her baby's. He must have had the best smell on earth (not talking about perfumes, hair products, I mean the person's smell. IDK, Elvis to me must've smelled like home. ♥
