I love my new job but some of the people frustrate me. For the most part it’s fun but when certain people are around I get anxious as hell and its kinda scary.

19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

Rowena’s deepest disillusion would be finding out her parents weren’t really the people she believed them to be, and learning that they were actually criminals.

27. How do they relate to their appearance? How do they wear their clothing? Style? Quality?

Rowena was raised on the ideology to take pride in her appearance, and to always look put together. Her parents had the money to buy her nice clothes, so there was no excuse for her to ever look dressed down. As a teen she would always be dressed very polished and classy; wearing dresses, skirts, and sweaters. As a young adult she started to grow into her own style and what she felt comfortable in, which is more of a boho chic look. 

38. Are they basically negative when facing new things? Suspicious? Hostile? Scared? Enthusiastic?

She tends to be a little suspicious when facing new things. She has a hard time trusting strangers and their motives. She’s selective with the kinds of people she allows into her life, knowing it will affect her brother’s life in some way.

He has a small ‘beauty mark’ in the righthand corner of his mouth, just above his lips, but that’s really it. Nothing else that could be considered distinguishable.

secondary school. the same group of boys, in his class. their persistence is ASTOUNDING. they live close enough to his house that there’s no avoiding them -- he manages to take a roundabout way home, and even then, he’s intercepted. ramsey tried to be patient, to just carry on without fighting back. for his age, he was still SMALL -- his growth spurt would come next summer.

he didn’t remember that day after school, what he did remember was repressed... and the rest of it was BEATEN out of his SKULL. T A K E N, so he didn’t have to remember. perhaps that was a blessing. there was only one thing that ramsey remembered, and it echoed in his memory from time to time. regardless of the confidence and self-assuredness he had now, the word still made his stomach clench.

Looking at the gash on his arm, he snorted at that. It was a bad cut, which seemed fitting for the rookie mistake he had made. Turning on the faucet, he sucked in a sharp breath as the warm water spilled over the open wound. Waited until the water stopped running pink before grabbing the gauze at his side and holding it out to her.

“It’s not a problem. I bandage this up, you find him, I probably put bullet between his eyes and then dispose of the body. You know how it goes. Now, can you wrap my arm?”

She glared at him and ignored the offered gauze, going instead for a clean towel and a bottle of vodka, soaking the fabric with the liquor until it was saturated, but not dripping. Without a word, she grasped his wrist in her free hand and with the other, pressed the towel into the wound, purposefully applying more pressure than necessary; she knew that she wouldn’t be able to hurt him, but her displeasure was loud and clear. Once she was satisfied that the area was disinfected, Savannah took the offered gauze, dropping the towel without a second thought, wrapping the injury tightly, but no so tight that his’ movement would be restricted.

1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?

Andrew loves his dad. his dad taught him a lot about what he knows to this day when it came to tattooing. He took on an apprenticeship under him and his knowledge and the way he does things now is heavily influenced by him.  Most of his work is really where his fathers influence is, but socially he’s more like his mother. I think one thing he would hate about his father though was when he was being instructed how to tattoo, his father was very particular- which is how he because so particular himself.

25. What are their hobbies and interests?

He loves comic books, reading comics, drawing and doing art and the like. He loves going to the movies and what not. Honestly, he doesn’t have too many hobbies that don’t include his work. 

33. Do they drink? Take drugs? What about their health?

The only downside about his health is the fact he doesn’t exercise enough . Other than that, he doesn’t do any drugs or drink heavily. He barely drinks really at all. He eats pretty healthily aside from a few cheat meals but they’re in moderation. He’s got a few extra pounds on him, but other than that- he’s golden.

36. Do they like to suffer? Like to see other people suffering?

No. She’s very empathetic and doesn’t like to see other’s suffering, and if she can help to make them feel better in any way, she’ll try. When it’s her, she tends to not be vocal about it, but she far from enjoys it. She would just rather keep to herself and if someone offers a hand, she’ll take it gladly. 

41. Is your character aware of who they are? Strengths? Weaknesses? Idiosyncrasies? Capable of self-irony?

She’s very self aware. I believe of my three muses she’s the most self aware character I have. She knows her strengths and her weaknesses and trusts her instinct. There are times when she missteps but eventually she’s able to realize where things went wrong. She’s capable of self irony when things lighten up around her, and uses each situation as a learning curve for herself.

50. What are the prevailing facial expressions? Sour? Cheerful? Dominating?

Softness, contentment. She’s approachable in her most natural look, not overly happy to the point of being irritating, but not stern or cold. She’s very soft and relaxed, even as an adult. After softness, it’s usually happiness or some form of a smile

4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?

Bruno was given pretty moderate discipline as a child. If he did something bad, he got his butt spanked or was grounded. The usual for a child. This went for anything like talking back, swearing, or throwing a tantrum. If it was something minuscule he’d get his arm or his hand swatted (like table manners)

As a teenager, when he became more of a trouble maker, he would be grounded up to his room with no electronics or phone and his social life was taken away- which, he didn’t have much of one to begin with, so it wasn’t a bother to him.

As he caused more trouble his father made him work as a punishment. He thought it would help him blow off steam as well as take up his time so he could not do anything fun like go to dates or parties. The work ended up being a career.

16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?

Bruno works in residential construction and he enjoys it a lot. He enjoys the social atmosphere with men around his age, older, or younger and enjoys the people he’s around, as well as the ability to create things. The downside is the hours, but he manages. 

28. Who is your character’s mate? How do they relate to him or her? How did they make their choice?

The closest thing to a mate Bruno has his his friend Tony but other than that, he’s not seeing anyone seriously.

On this blog, however, Bruno’s main mate is  Rowena ( @snckeshed ). He related to her at first through her brother, Manny, who he had bonded with at the diner. Eventually the two began “co-parenting” for lack of a better word and after five years of that, he couldn’t see himself without those two in his life.

♀ — what is an au you really want to play with your muse?

LOL. The one I was telling you about involving Aleks’ original character notes and the surgeon with a ceramic pink dick in his trophy room. Not going to go into detail here but it’s something I’d love to factor into more of his storylines.

♂ — is there any kind of music you hear while writing?

It depends on the atmosphere of what I’m writing, but usually it’s just rainymood or a movie soundtrack.

♠ — how many muses do you have?

Threeish? Ash, Aleks and another OC of mine I’ve been dabbling with lately.

♣ — can you play more than one muse, at the same time, or do you divide your rp-time between your muses?

I’m the world’s worst multitasker when it comes to dividing my time equally between all my characters, so it usually ends up with me focusing 90% of my attention on a dominant muse while the others chill in the background for the time being.

10 . Does your muse get carsick?

Nope! Not usually.

22 . What is your muse most thankful for?

His job, and stability. 

43 . Describe the first person your muse remembers losing.

His mom was the first person he ever really lost that had an impact on him. Distant relatives died off but she was the closest one to go, and she didn’t even die. Him and her got along decently as children but as time went on, and issues arose in the house, their relationship deteriorated in his early teenage years. It was her anger and frustration with both him and his father that really broke the familial bond. She had blamed Bruno’s behavior to be the breaking point of it all, and because of that, there were some hardships between him and his father for a good minute. By the time she left, Bruno really didn’t love her, but she was his mother, and he regardless of how little love was between them- it stung.

7. How dirty is your character willing to get in the name of a mission? Other than general lying and sneaking that the job requires, how far will they go? Has their time in the service dampened their morals at all?

The only time Aleks hesitates to kill anyone is when he’s certain that they’re innocent; whether they’ve been framed or it’s just a case of “wrong place, wrong time.” Even then it’s half morality and half impatience just because he hates dealing with mess and the paperwork with it. Apart from that? He’s KGB. They don’t lose sleep over their kill rate. They’re bred to be uncompromising. Aleks has been molded with an allconsuming ideology and, with that, a wholly different set of morals to most others, so it’s subjective. He’s never known anything different so he doesn’t see anything wrong with his actions, so long as it yields a result beneficial to him and “the greater good.”

13. What is your characters specialty in the field? Are they perhaps good at infiltration, interrogation, or reading others? Perhaps they have a skill in hacking, or being able to tail others? What is their ultimate proficiency, and how helpful is it in the field?

Infiltration is definitely a specialty, one Aleks is renowned for and subsequently assigned with whenever the service needs a top agent for an inside job. His other talent is tracking. If you’re in his little black book, sooner or later, he’ll find you. And he doesn’t give a shit how long it takes or who gets in his way.

18. Does your muse have any plans after the leave the service? Do they have some dream to pursue, or will they be happy just to live quietly after their time as a spy is over? Do they intend to make a career out of the service, perhaps being ambitious and seeking promotion?

Aleks doesn’t give much thought to life outside the service. The world of espionage is all he knows, and all he wants to know. Rather depressingly he hasn’t made any plans for the future, either, because he doesn’t expect to live long enough.

🎭 - How does your muse handle their emotions? Do they bottle them up or pour them out as soon as they start to feel? 👻 - Does your muse believe in an afterlife? What do they think it’s like? ⏰ - Does your muse feel like they need to do things quickly or do they take their time?

andrew:

Andrew doesn’t bottle them up, he just waits until the appropriate time to talk about them with whoevers near.

He also doesn’t think much on the afterlife. He likes to believe there may be something afterwards, but there’s no concrete belief that he has.

Andrew doesn’t rush most things, he takes his time to make things as perfect as he can manage.

BRUNO

Bruno is the one who bottles things up the most. He doesn’t like the feeling of being vulnerable but in turn, he has a tendency to explode and letting it all out in the most uncomfortable and aggressive, verbal way possible.

He also believes in the afterlife, and heaven. It’s a loose belief, but if someone passes, he believes they go to heaven or hell.

As a perfectionist, Bruno doesn’t rush things. Hes meticulous and likes to make sure things are orderly, but when it comes to crunch time, he panics inwardly.

RACHEL:

Rachel’s an open book. She won’t force her feelings on to someone or gush, but if someone asks, she is easy to get an answer out of. She’s more of a “breathe and let it go” type person unless it really bothers her.

She’s the one with the more concrete belief of the afterlife, more so than the boys. It’s comforting for her.

And like the boys, she’s also more interested in doing things right, not fast. If it can be done quickly and correctly, she likes that option the most, but she prefers doing it right the first time.
