I watched Two Tons of Turquoise to Taos Tonight (1975) for my 30 Days, 30 Films challenge and.... not for me. I literally don’t even know what this is, but it's not even an hour long so I gave it a go. I questioned the decision immediately. I questioned what I was watching. I asked myself if I was paying enough attention. I asked myself if it was cohesive. At one point a guy mentioned gargoyles and I was reminded of the tragedy of a show Riverdale. (Why hasn’t that been canceled, yet? It’s awful and no one actually likes it or thinks it’s good.) This was kind of a waste of time, but I also wasn’t paying that much attention honestly, especially when it lost me a bit once I got further into it. I do, however, recognize it as an experimental art piece and appreciate it in that sense. It’s just not for me.
