Redo of my original G(a)linda Portrait. I just felt like the original just looked really off to me and it didn't really match my Elphaba drawing stylistically, it really didn't look like Glinda/Ariana Grande at all, and it was not at all how I pictured it. Still not sure how I feel about this one as a whole, but I definitely like it SO much better than the first one!

I intend to have limited prints of this one along with my Elphaba portrait as well!

I’m SO EMOTIONAL over the fact that Elphaba AND Glinda are both named after saints— Saint Aelphaba of the Waterfall and Saint Glinda!!! (Yeah she went from Galinda to Glinda but it still counts and perhaps is even more symbolic!!!!)

And then YEARS after they part ways in the Emerald City, Fiyero finds Elphaba AT A UNIONIST CHAPEL!!!! PRAYING TO A PORTRAIT OF SAINT GODDAMN GLINDA!!!!

ELPHABA FUCKING THROPP????!! THE MOST ADAMANT, MOST NOTORIOUS ATHEIST IN ALL OF OZ!!!!??? PRAYING??? TO THE SAINT OF HER BEST FRIEND’S NAMESAKE!!! A FRIEND WHO SHE HASN’T IN YEARS AND DOESN’T KNOW WHEN (OR IF) SHE’LL SEE GLINDA AGAIN!!!
