I figured I would share some personal headcannons about the kiddos just for fun!

I always imagined the Weir-Fields kids as twins for some reason. I can imagine the reader telling Calvin after an appointment that there’s two in there and him nearly passing out. They’d be partners in crime for life.

I can see Auggie growing up to be a teacher. He knew how his father grew up and never wants a kid to feel the way he did. August fortunately grew up around pure love from his parents and wants to pass that down to his students.

When Scout grows up and starts dating, Percy is definitely that dad who tries to intimidate the boy and goes undercover to follow them around town.

Olive and Juni would be best friends and would hang out together at every family event. They’ve both got spunk and sometimes their parents have to tell them to quiet down.

Ariel is like how I was as a kid—a diva but not disrespectful. She’s that girl who the teachers tell “this is a school, not a beauty salon”. She’s a mama’s girl until she grows older and comes to appreciate her dad’s nerdiness.

Sorry, that was a lot. I am autistic and I have taken a special interest in your writing. I hope you liked my little thoughts! -🥀

why is that an au i am totally willing to explore though?? like that’s such a big-brain thought like hello that’s actually the cutest thing ever? calvin would totally almost pass out oh my god and like the nights when they’re both crying and you and calvin are desperately trying to get them back to sleep and just. i truly love every single aspect of that i’m not even kidding i will truly have to consider playing around with that😉

talking about auggie when he grows up always gets me, just because of what happens in the normal auggieverse. like his relationship with eddie gets strained when he’s older, and like he only allows him so much into his life after that. your vision of auggie being a teacher is so fitting though, and like he would be the sweetest (probably math) teacher out there🥺 (between you and me and the rest of tumblr reading this, i always imagine that when august grows up and gets married, he has a daughter🥺)

the way scout would yell at him oh my GOD. she’ll literally kick dust in his direction and tell him to scram before she comes home and tells you what he did. you have to tell percy to calm down and let your little girl do things on her own, she’s tough, smart, and has a reputation as “the little dolarhyde girl” behind her.

no because literally aunt olive loves her junebug. like olive may be 14 years older than her (she’s 7 in the movie, dwayne is about 14/15, you and dwayne have juni when you’re 22 which is about 7 years later, bada bing bada boom math, olive is 14), but juni makes her feel like a kid again and loves watching her grow☺️

OKAY YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD. ariel loves fashion and being fancy like auntie danielle, and she’s such a diva but she has such a sweet heart. and as far as her father’s neediness goes, there’s definitely some of that passed down. when she’s older and going on dates and whatnot, if a boy asks her what she wants to do, she wants to have a star wars movie marathon. her shirt may be pink and cropped, but it says “star wars” on it in gold glitter so what are you gonna do?😔

roro you asked me a while ago what some of the jobs i think my dano babies would have, and the post itself literally kept glitching every time i tried to add the “read more” link and it would delete full on paragraphs i had written and i kinda got frustrated and gave up. so instead i will just. give a small basic list without going into detail but i will answer any questions you have at a later date if you put them in another ask HDYDGDHDHHD i love you thank you for your patience🥲

peony — (fun fact she knows english, ASL, korean, and spanish) marine biologist/botanist

those are the ones i know for sure. like i said, i might revisit some of this again at a later date when i’m not ticked off over my paragraphs being deleted🤪 ben and el’s explanations i’m pretty sure can be found in their descriptions in the dano baby overview. if anyone has any headcanons of jobs for any babies i haven’t mentioned, i’d love to hear them!!🤍

as i lay here and recover from my pain and ER trip, i wanted to let you guys know i’m writing some calvin weir-fields headcanons involving ben and el🤭 inspired/suggested by roro🥀🤍

the wizarding world of the weir-fields

my first calvin fic, and it’s a halloween one🤭

warnings: none, fluff with no plot🤪

“amuck! amuck! amuck! amuck!” your six year old daughter gleefully yelled as she jumped about your living room, scotty running around her legs. her long, gingery hair flowed down to her back as the skirt of her dress swished about. this halloween had been the first year eloise had watched the classic film “hocus pocus,” and your darling little girl fell immediately in love with the youngest sanderson sister, sarah. she thought sarah was beautiful, funny, and who she wanted to grow up to be.

she knew from the moment that movie finished that sarah sanderson was exactly who she wanted to be for halloween. so, you got her a red and purple dress very similar to the young witch’s, loosely curled the tips of her already long hair, and even let her put on red lipstick and mascara to complete the look. el was ecstatic and squealed incredibly loud when she saw her reflection of the final product in the mirror. her energy was high and you hoped a night of trick-or-treating would put her down easily that night.

“y/n, is ben almost ready?” you heard your husband call from the living room where he waited with eloise. you finished drawing the small lightning bolt on your eight year old son’s forehead and smiled at him as you admired him wholly.

“yep, we’ll be out in a minute!” you replied happily. eloise was going as sarah sanderson, and since she was a witch, ben insisted he go as harry potter so he could be a wizard. he was just starting to read the popular series, and you thought it was a wonderful idea to have your two kids go as magic characters. “look how nice you look, ben!” you complimented. ben adjusted the round black glasses on his face and gave a small smile.

“you think daddy will like it?” he asked nervously, always dying for his father’s approval. you nodded, smiling warmly.

“i think daddy will love it. let’s go show him,” you said. ben held your hand as the two of you walked back out into the living room from your bathroom, calvin watching eloise bounce about and run off some of her energy. scotty barked at ben when he walked in and quickly ran over to sniff him. calvin turned smiled at his son, eyeing his costume up and down through his glasses.

“well if it isn’t young mr. potter?” calvin said fondly. ben did a small little bounce at his father’s approval and eloise ran into your arms.

“mommy! is it time to go tricker treating now?” she asked as you hoisted her up into your arms. ben shook his head.

“el, it’s ‘trick-or-treating,’” he corrected. your daughter blinked.

“that’s what i said!” she replied simply as you giggled. calvin stood up from the couch and looked outside the window, the la sun casting an orange glow into your home.

“let’s get on our way, weir-fields,” he announced. you kissed el’s cheek and plopped her down as she grabbed her little plastic witch’s cauldron to collect her candy in. she bounced about and ben took calvin’s hand before being led out the door. you coaxed your hyperactive six year old out the door and took a deep breath as calvin locked the door behind you. you locked eyes with him and smiled.

“our kids are the cutest,” you whispered sweetly. your husband gave a small smile, glancing around at all the halloween decorations gracing the neighboring homes.

“i think you’re right,” he winked back. you took his free hand and smiled, setting off into the evening as eloise bounced and jumped about ahead of you.

so that’s something super cute omfg. okay. i don’t be doing everybody, because that’s a lot of babies to assign favorite candies and desserts to (especially the bezukhov babies and scout because like wtf existed back then in those separate times) but here’s what i think:

august: auggie likes cinnamon rolls. he really likes dousing then in icing and stuffing his face with the cinnamony pastry. he’s such a cutie and i think eddie likes to bring auggie cinnamon rolls on his way home from work, and often has to tell auggie to slow down and not eat so fast🤭

annie: i think you’re completely right. annie loves pop tarts, especially the strawberry ones😉 she’s a big fan of anything obnoxiously strawberry flavored, but pop tarts are her favorite. she’s only allowed to have one pop tart per package though because that’s way too much sugar for this hyperactive child, but joby is like “you want a pop tart? knock yourself out” and will let her go wild lmao

peony: peony loves strawberry chamomile cake. how much more angel-like could she get? it’s light and fluffy and sweet and she thinks she’s a princess and so fancy when she eats it. she wants it for her birthday, she wants it when jay leaves for missions, she wants it when jay comes home from missions… it’s just such a fitting dessert for her and it makes my heart flutter thinking about it🥰

eloise: eloise is a chocolate monster. she ADORES chocolate and will stuff her face until she has a tummy ache with the richest chocolate desserts. she loves gooey liquidy chocolate, like lava cakes and chocolate fountains. she doesn’t like candy candy super much, she very much prefers chocolate bars and similar things like that. she worships the ground that chocolate walks on. she’s risking salmonella to eat the brownie batter and all that. eloise is a chocolate fiend and constantly has remnants of her chocolatey feast left around her lips😅

ben: ben likes candy canes and anything mint or like mint chocolate. he’s one of those weird mint-chocolate people. he likes york peppermint patties. he likes mint chocolate chip ice cream. he loves candy canes at christmas time. he’s a bit weird because i don’t think mint chocolate is very good but whatever floats baby boy’s boat. he’s just a big fan of mint and who’s to tell him he can’t enjoy it?

juni: juni loves sour candy. period. she loves baby bottle pops, sour patch kids, juicy drop pops, warheads, etc. this child gets hyped on sugar, similar to annie, and you and dwayne have to control her intake. as she gets older, the tolerance she builds to sour candy is insane, she practically has to drink a cup of lemon juice to even pucker her lips. she intakes sour things like they’re necessary to her survival, she loves chocolate

luna: luna likes oreos, she’s classic like that☺️ she loves dipping her oreos in milk, eats the creme first… she’s an oreo girl. she won’t say no to chocolate candy bars, she and juni often trade candy when halloween rolls around. you always have to hide the oreos on high shelves from luna when she’s little because she will eat a whole package by herself. she looks so cute with little cookie crumbs stuck to her cheeks when she’s eating her favorite dessert, practically inhaling the sandwich cookies. luna adores those cookies so much

ariel: ariel likes cupcakes, specifically red velvet. she loves how red the cake is and she loves the cream cheese frosting. she always manages to get frosting on her nose, and she’ll try and reach it with her tongue to clean it off, but to no avail😂 she won’t let anyone tell her that it’s just chocolate cake dyed red, because it’s special to her. it’s red!! like how cool is that!! she thinks that red velvet is very fancy, and whenever she gets her favorite treat she feels like a million bucks eating it. she’s such a cutie and loves to savor her red velvet treats

ruby does exist in the same universe as the weir-fields babies! i think the only difference is that like, in the universe with ben and eloise, ruby doesn’t show up again or whatever like she did at the end of the movie. like calvin just lost her for good after that first situation, and had to learn to move on. so he found you!!💕
