Finally, here's my submission to the #ravenheart1500contest hosted by artist and writer @the_ermin! Happy #RavenheartFriday! Of course this prompt had to be Elnar and Sagarus. Sagarus is often sent on away missions, while Elnar stays in Krone, close to the eyes of the healers due to his ashing. They’ve had a number of partings just like this.

Happy #RavenheartFriday! In honour of the recent winter solstice (and the summer on the other side of the globe), I redrew these two pieces from 2018! It’s been a while, and it was nice to revisit the concept. I feel like I’ve definitely come a very far way from the originals! What do you think?

Overall, I’m really pleased with how it came out, I feel like I really captured the comfort and closeness these two share.

Happy #RavenheartFriday! Today’s scene is one of quiet comfort, the aftermath of Jolanus’ sudden death. To Elnar, the old Death Warden was like a grandfather. He takes the news of his passing very hard and feels lost. Luckily, Sagarus is there to help him find his way again.

Oc Kiss Week day 1: “The one that started it all,” prompt by @fyerbourne

Hello hello, participating in the challenge, because I’ve been working hard lately and I needed to do something for myself. We’ll see how many days I wind up doing!

This is Elnar and Sagarus’ first kiss, back when they were 14 and 15, respectively. It might surprise some that Elnar made the first move in terms of their relationship, even if Sagarus did most of the wooing.

Meet Vynn, sister of Hrafen. Hrafen was the first Raven King, long before Elnar and Sagarus’ time. Vynn, the elder of the two, was a shield maiden, blessed by the Raven. Vynn is vicious in battle, and fights like a deadly dancer with her silver spear, Höggormur. Crossing her isn’t a good idea, but if you are her friend or of her clan, you can expect her to fight to the death by your side.

#ocvkissweek23 day 4: “The one that says more than words,” prompt by @fyerbourne

Showing some love to lesser seen characters from Ravenheart, Kitt and Jia, the characters on the flip side of Elnar and Sagarus story. Kitt and Jia are from Heillas, a country that, unlike Löwenhall, has embraced magic and all that it brings. Kitt is captain of the Palace Guard, and Jia is her second in command, as well as a ravenheart. The two have grown up quite close, having gone through school and military lessons together from a young age. They trust each other more than anyone else in the world and know they can rely on each other in such uncertain times as the rebellion brings.

Every now and then I play around with AU ideas in my mind. This one is from an AU I had a few years ago where Sagarus is a forest spirit with antlers who is befriended by a version of Elnar who was never sent to Krone, the capital of Löwenhall.
