》 Ellooo-- long time no post! It's the holidays so I was kinda busy at home, lol. Anyways I haven't been drawing much really BUT I did make a few arts...

...In particular this little lad. So Judas belongs to a noncanon ending in ImbalanceTale. (the story has 8 endings, 7 of which didn't last too long which makes them 'noncanon', even though they already happened but their timeline was permanently erased after that ending ceased to last too long. It's complicated :'] ). Now this ending was a very uh.. bleak, (possible) ending, and he was a part of it. Let's just say his parents involve a certain skeleton lady and a certain gold bastard skeleton king, of which you can probable guess who he is with that crown, the emblem, and the marking under his eye, and maybe the name. Yeah.

》 Anyways, below the cut, have some old doodles of him + his first reference, a little funny meme involving three other noncanon ending children [excluding a young Cauchemar], and doodles of him n his mum :D

Hi-iii-iiiii! YES that’s me, and my amazing co-writer is @noxnthea 💜 thanks for all your kind words on that series, your comments are absolutely fantastic and I appreciate you so much!

The Marshmallows actually split off from the original plan for If It’s A Highway, which is my (much angstier and darker and smuttier) Bucky/Jason Lost Days AU. When I first had that idea, I was toying with the idea of a Winterhawk-plus-Jason endgame, after Jason and Bucky come back to the States and get him settled in Gotham… and I was talking about it while we were also gushing about one of our favorite Batfam fics, Ain’t No Compass by @ebjameston - we were having both conversations at the same time, because ADHD, and I think wires got crossed between the two trains of thought? The phrase “marshmallow crime lord” came up and stuck somehow.

Lol here I just went and scrolled back in our discord chat and found it:

We ran with it from there, a couple weeks later I asked Nox to officially co-write… and that was that!

Really though, best feeling to have somebody like this who you can just message your weird random thoughts to and they say YES HERE’S MORE NOW GO WRITE. Nox is ridiculously supportive and enthusiastic about ideas, but also has the editing smarts to think critically and make sure they get shaped into something good once they’re on paper, which is a rare and priceless combo in a writer friend!

Nox is on vacation this week but hopefully next week we’ll be starting on the next part of that, which involves Damian! I’m psyched to get back to it.
