It was a quick walk from his campus, and it was only a matter of time before Marco was walking inside already dreaming of way too many cookies as a reward for studying this late. There was only one other customer at the store, and he tried not to be rude and stand too close while looking over the menu that he and every other student was familiar with. Once he heard the other customer speak though, he recognized that voice, the bored monotone reverb. It took everything in him not to immediately interrupt instead of just letting his eyes burrow into the back of the other man’s long hair. He let the order happen and the transaction happen, mouthing his own ‘just a second hold on, sorry’ response to the employee who tried to take his order. The second this man turned around though, Marco was there, earning himself an ‘Oh fuck’ as a response, he would not deny he was pleased with it. “I have been looking for you, like.. everywhere for the past two weeks," he was fighting a smirk. “Yeah, well you shouldn’t have done that? Sorry man?” Marco sighed at that response before just putting both hands on his hips, “You know like, not a single person knows who you are?” “Yeah, and I like it that way,” Elliot deadpanned, “Are you going to keep standing here or like.. order cookies like I assume you came in here to do?” he tilted his head with a very obviously forced smile, it looked more like a snarl and made his nose scrunch some, “I would offer that we could step into the bathroom,” he was speaking in a stage-whisper, “But the employees are already staring at us.”
