oh my god!!! i can’t stop thinking about ellie williams not caring at all about shaving—she literally stopped shaving her legs at fourteen and never did it again (partly because she didn’t care and no one in her family circle did either; neither joel nor tess). just imagine her slightly flexing her toned arm, showing a hint of hair in her armpit!!! or even her defined abs, feeling solid to the touch except where her happy trail starts, feeling the softness of her reddish-brown hair leading to the best part—the damn paradise with a bush... oh ellie williams with body hair, you are so dear to me.

autism vent ??

had to talk to a psychologist for 90 minutes as part of my autism assessment. actually exhausting talking about myself for that long and basically saying hey these are all the reasons why i have never felt like i "fit in" no matter what i do and i can never change this and it'll be this way forever and I'll always be perceived as weird and disliked and I can't do anything independently and i basically just suck at everything apart from my useless "skills" which don't really even matter anyway in the great scheme of things

So I finished watching Supernatural Academy, with 16 episodes it's a little rushed but overall I really enjoyed it. When I first saw it, yeah I assumed it was an off-brand Monster High, but in truth it's everything I wanted when I was growing up reading fantasy novels. It has canon and good lgbtqia representation as well as disabled representation, they swear and talk and act like teens their age are supposed to, and the whole concept of sisters reconnecting in a fantasy environment always appealed to me. I seriously enjoyed it, even if the opening theme is a bit cringey. It's cringey in the best way and my inner child loved every minute of it. 1000/10 highly recommend

I just find it so funny that TLOU "fanboys" are complaining about the most recent episode being too "woke" and shoving it down their throats when it shows two men falling in love, when in the game, it was implied that the same characters were in a relationship.

Also...that teenager that's immune, the main female protagonist? She's a lesbian in the games, but sure. The show totally is making stuff up to be "woke".

I’ve seen some discourse on the lucy/cooper situation and I understand folks at either end of the spectrum on why they do/do not like the pairing. However, one thing that I’m like ehhh about is interpreting things in a fatherly sort of way (slightly alarming ppl find his behavior more acceptable from him as a father figure to her than as a romantic suitor) and imma explain why and it’s not just bc I ship it (of course I do, I’m me)

Point being cooper already has a daughter. And he’s not looking for another one tbh. He wants HIS daughter. He’s not on the lookout for some replacement bc he’s looking for his daughter still. So I genuinely don’t think he sees lucy like that at all.

And while I think he absolutely sees her as naive I also don’t think he thinks of her/sees her as a kid. It’s not a childlike naivety that she has. It’s a naivety of privilege and having been sheltered. And there’s a world of difference between those things.

REGARDLESS tho their dynamic is already so fucking compelling even and especially outside of the context of a romantic ship. Like they’re just interesting. In any sort of way u look at it.

they didn't really specify what happened to doctor scott after the end of none shall sleep except that she got fired (understandable considering what happened under her watch) but i feel like her life after the asylum mission also probably involved a lot of staring at the wall having an existential crisis considering she genuinely thought simon could be reformed and the first thing he did after being let out of his cage was eat someone's face immediately followed by vivisecting them
