You already know that I love your storys to the very last bit. So I'm curious about the process behind the curtains: 1. How do you come up with new ideas? 2. Do you know from the start how long a story will be and how it ends? 3. Do you write linear .. So from start to end or like all over the place? 4. How and when did you start writing storys at all? Was there some inspiration/passion that you no longer could resist not to write? ❤ ❤ ❤

ily, i’m so sorry that I’m only replying now... I haven’t been on tumblr a lot lately.

1. so, for my inspirations: I have maladaptive daydreaming. It’s a mental disorder that is characterized by compulsive, vivid daydreaming, and I’ve had it since I was a kid. maldaptive daydreaming doesn’t make you a writer, you still have to write the story, *but* it IS easier for me to come up with interesting situations/stories than it is for people who don’t have it, maaaybe? just because i’ve been imagining stories non stop since I was young. I don’t need anything else to find inspiration. it’s compulsive for me, I’ll find inspiration anyway, whether i write or not. coming up with ideas and imagining the story is the easy part. writing them is the part that sucks ^^

2. I know the story from start to finish before I start it, however i barely outline it, and sometimes, if not always, some plot details change while writing it. but the overall structure stays the same, I have the ending and pivotal emotional moments in mind the whole time when writing it, and those being the most important elements of a story, don’t change. it’s necessary to keep a story coherent. I have a vague idea of how long it’ll be, usually, but often it does end up being longer. sometimes much longer actually. well actually nevermind they’re always longer lol

3. I write linear, but sometimes there are sentences/ideas that I want to save for future pivotal/emotional moments that I know are coming, so obviously I write those down, but they’re just notes. I never write a future chapter in advance, for instance.

4. Reylo fics! I haven’t written a single paragraph before the reylo fandom, and i’ve never been in another fandom before, even as a teenager. my first piece of fiction ever that i wrote was “enemy of a nation”. before that, again, even younger, i absolutely never wrote anything. I have to clarify, “reylo” didn’t make me write: reylo FICS did. the incredible authors in this fandom opened a door for me. it was just insane to have access to all this amazing, mind blowing content. i’m forever grateful that I’ve discovered this fandom.

Maybe you or someone can help me, I'm trying find a story wheres Ben lives in other AU(being a scientist or photographer),but he ends up in the canon universe and meets Rey. I think the author was inspired by the look of Adam in the movie 'Tracks ". I can't remember the name of the story or the author (who is still active).

It’s really fine, I just feel sad for these people who have nothing better than to try to make something out of nothing. They just scream of wow I just learned US history is fucked up in collage so now I get a pass to start judging others actions and choices. If they can’t understand why someone in a small town no where USA who was directionless signed up I can’t fucking explain it clearly to them as to the why. It also says a lot that they never had to seriously ever think if I want to get ahead in life I might have to join the military to have a chance or even having their parents pressing them to. When I was in high school which was before 9/11 we had military recruiters every day trying to sign us up. I’m not going to fucking judge anyone who did. You can get a good pay and a good job after you serve, sometimes its all people feel they have.
