I listened to this programme where a young lesbian singer talks about growing up a tomboy. Her mother asks her as a child if she "wanted breasts" ("Of course! Wait, is that a choice?) This is so, so, so difficult to answer. But I absolutely loved Is it over now?, Now That We Don’t Talk and Say Don’t Go by Taylor. (But also Yoko by Maisie Peters). Hungover by Ellen Krauss!

3: Favorite artist you started listening to this year?

I discovered so much new music this year! But top two probably Maisie Peters (listened casually before but never really got into her music) and Omar.

7: Favorite actor of the year?

Is it cheating if I say the entire YR cast (especially Edvin and Omar ofc) but also the Lockwood & Co trio?

9: Best month this year?

Most definitely July. I went on the most beautiful hiking trip with my sister 🫶

Oh god, finding a topic for my master thesis and looking for jobs was not a fun time.

Explore Europe by train and not let others’ opinions dictate my life!!

Is it very cheesy if I say everyone in the YR fandom? Probably. So I’ll just name the random dog walker who started recognizing me always sitting on the same bench in the park and left it free so I could sit there.

I have a whole bunch of recommendations, no books, unfortunately. Actually, scratch that, I have one but it's actually a history book! I found it to be sociologically fascinating, though. It's The Origins of the Modern World by Robert B. Marks. It's a really interesting take on decolonizing the study of history and our understanding of how the west became the global superpower

To be honest, I don't know what book chapters I was reading for my theory class, our professor only sent us pdf scans. If you're interested in the philosophic origins of sociology, I am happy to try to hunt down the reference for you. Personally, I'm not a big philosophy fan so I can't speak to how good it was lol
