But Ducks don't back down...and nothing can stop Della Duck. Then things really get interesting, because nothing can ever be simple with this family.

We get Fenton’s blonde chickee before Daisy Duck!

Considering the original was a one-dimensional babe let’s see what they do in this clever new reboot. I mean, jesus look what they did for Mrs. Beakly .
No, I’m not hoping for Grease references. Nope. Not really.
Will she be an Angelica? An Eliza? Or a Peggy?

Yay! a Challenge!
Soo @turtleduckdog tagged me in this ^^ And I will do ittttt cause its fun!
name your top 10 favorite characters from 10 different fandoms then tag 10 people
1. Ducktales- Webby Vanderquack. Gosh I honestly didn’t believe I’d love Webby as much as I have. She’s very similar to me in some ways which is probably why I’m drawn to her. I love pink and am quite the girly girl. But I also love weird stuff like magic, I’m awkward at talking to people. I will often yell. “Churros!” when I see the churro cart. I also try to be a optimist and see the good in people like she does. What’s not to love?
2. Animaniacs- Yakko Warner. My first cartoon crush XP Witty, able to talk his way out of any situation and quite the charmer. He’s got a great sense of humor. I do wonder if he will be the same in the new edition of the cartoon.
3. Gravity Falls- Mabel. Was there a doubt? I love her wackiness and randomness. Her willingness to just be herself.
4. Tangled the Series- Cassandra. Not only does she have a awesome name, but I understand her emotions about feeling overlooked, stuck on the sidelines and feeling if there was something more she was destined for.
5. Tiny Toon Adventures- Babs Bunny. Might as well continue with the disney/warnerbrothers theme here. Like Yakko, Babs was witty and quite the trickster. She always had something to say and probably was the smarter of the duo. She certainly got Buster out of a scrape or two.
6. Care Bears- Cheer Bear, I still remember this cartoon to this day because I loved its characters and idolized Cheer Bear as a little kid. I wanted to be like her so much so I tried to blend her character into me. It’s helped me a lot in life and will always be grateful for her.
7. Gargoyles- Elisa Maza. She was a pretty bad ass cop and good hearted as well. She made the show for me.
8. Real Adventures of Johnny Quest- Jesse Bannon. I loved Jesse in this version of Johnny Quest. I’m glad she was included more in this series and I loved the stories of some of these episodes. Quite a few gave me chills. Even if the computer animation if cringe worthy now as is the voice acting. Jess was so much stronger as a character and able to handle her own. She was a bit like Webby in a way that she wouldn’t back down against bad guys.
9. The Wild Thornberries- Eliza Thornberry. Who doesn’t want to talk to animals? I certainly want to know what my cat is thinking. Eliza is independent, strong, kind and fearless quite a lot. She would get herself in quite the pickle and end up safe at the end. Still it was slightly scary watching poachers almost grab her.
10. Avatar- Katara. She grew so much as a character as the series progressed I was amazed at her character development. Zuko was a close second because I loved his bad to good.. and of course Iroh was a really close third. There were just so many good chracters in this series! I kinda wished this had a anime one like it. I have tons of anime I’d love to add to this. I don’t have much time tonight to write out my top ten favorite eps of DT but I’m working on it! Edit: I just realized I could have done anime in this if I wanted to. Face palm. It didn’t specify just cartoons. Oh well lol. I have way more fandoms than ten for animes and RL series. XD I don’t know many people and I’m sorry if I tag you and you don’t wanna do this. Feel free to ignore me! I tag @randomduckydoodles, @pick-and-shovel-laborer, @thebardscipher I think that’s all I feel comfortable tagging in this lol. Have at it if you’d like or haven’t done it already!

Since I’ve been tossing out little scenes of Blot trying to uncover Pepper’s origins and Beakley’s potential involvement (which can be found here if you missed it), have a little flashback scene that’s been bouncing around in my head. I need some time off so I can finally string this all together (not to mention catch up with my other fics...) @ai-higurashi
Scrooge couldn’t help but draw in a sharp breath when Duckworth brought him the cordless phone, calmly stating, “Director VonDrake for you, sir.”  This could be the call he’d been waiting for or the one he’d been dreading.
Fortunately, Ludwig wasted no time in getting to the point once Scrooge answered.  His usual ramblings about whatever idea had caught his fancy today were gone, and that alone spoke to the gravity of the situation.  “We found her.”
Scrooge let out the breath he’d been all too aware he was holding, and it felt as if much of the tension of the past seven months went with it.  If it had been nearly anyone else, Scrooge would have assumed they wanted to disappear, but when S.H.U.S.H.’s accountant had suggested the same, Scrooge had almost decked him.  He knew Beakley and that wasn’t her style.  If he ever doubted it, all he had to do was look into the wide, worried eyes of the little girl she’d left behind and his conviction deepened.  “Where?  How is she?”
“Moscow,” Ludwig said, “and they’ve taken her to the medical wing.  That’s all I know.  They said she was in rough shape, but...you know, that’s relative.”
Scrooge snorted.  “Especially where she’s concerned.”  He and Beakley probably should have been dead several times over, given the scrapes they’d gotten into over the years, but somehow, they always managed to bounce back.  “I’m going to call for a pilot as soon as I hang up.  Do you need me to pick you up in Vienna?”
“No, no, I’m leaving in a moment myself,” Ludwig replied.  “I should beat you there.”
“I’ll see you soon, then.”  Without wasting time on further niceties, Scrooge hung up and began to make arrangements for his immediate departure.
---
He’d had a duffel bag in his study, packed and waiting for this moment.  As soon as the pilot arrived, Scrooge hurried to grab it...and found it was heavier than he recalled.  He frowned, setting it down and opening the bag to reveal a brown-haired duckling nestled among his coats.  “Hello, Eliza.”
The girl frowned, but did crawl out of the bag.  “If you found my mom, I’m going, too!”
Scrooge sighed.  It was a safe house, not a rescue mission.  And, as for much of a curmudgeon as he could be, he’d seen how hard the last several months had been on Eliza.  She’d already lost her father, and while she tried to keep a brave face while her mother was missing in action, she was still nine years old and dealing with adult-sized issues.  None of his arguments felt like they had anymore weight.  “All right, then.  Let’s go.”

A random exchange I don’t have anywhere to put at the moment, but it amused me.
Eliza: I appreciate your concern, but I don’t need a new partner. I’m not afraid of Silver Falcon or her threats.
Ludwig: Yes, I can appreciate that, but your mother is very concerned for your safety and I’m afraid of her.

I’ve shared my reference for Eliza before, from the All Ducked Out creator, but if anyone was curious what she’d sound like (or look like as a human), my inspiration for her is Angie Harmon...especially her character in Rizzoli & Isles. Basically, if you could create a perfect blend of Beakley and Rizzoli, that’s Eliza. 😂

Hii, I was wondering, do you have any kind of reference for Phillip Beakley and baby Eliza? I love them so much!!!
Aww, thank you! I’m so glad...they’re my darlings.
Alas, I would l o v e to have a reference for baby Eliza...I imagine she’s a cute lil ball of floof, and I see her as a girly girl (who would absolutely climb trees in dresses). She’s got dark brown hair and her feathers are light, but not quite as white as her mother’s. I wish I could draw!
Phillip was inspired by Fenton, and I imagine him to be about the same height and build, with feathers about the same shade. His hair is similarly wild (if not wilder, but much darker...Eliza gets her hair color from him). He’s from Sullana, in Peru...his mother was indigenous and his father was Spanish.
If anyone wants to draw them, you’re more than welcome. ❤️ I tried to create Phillip in the All Ducked Out creator, like I did with adult Eliza and her husband, but it didn’t have the customizations I needed to get him to look right (where are all the wild hair options? 😊)...

The only good thing about this hiatus is the chance to get my little headcanons and fantasies out there before I get jossed...
It’s a weird place to be in when your OC is a character who, technically, exists in canon but has never been mentioned, not even by name.  We all want to know what happened to Webby’s parents, and Season 3 has teased that.  But, in the meantime, we all have our own ideas, and here’s mine.  (Yes, I did dig up the old All Ducked Out creator because I can’t draw.)
Meet Eliza Vanderquack.  (Technically not the Eliza of my username, but she was named for Eliza Hamilton, who is.)  All she ever wanted to be was a S.H.U.S.H. agent like her mother, and Eliza never let anything get in the way of what she wanted.  Along the way, she met and married a fellow agent by the name of Richard Vanderquack, and they had their beloved daughter, Webbigail.  Unfortunately, on their last mission - a rare joint one - when Webby was two, Eliza and Richard walked into a FOWL trap.  There’s not a lot known about what went wrong and how, since most of the evidence was destroyed in a fire.
I’m writing a lot more about her and her fate in a fic I’m currently working on (which I’ll post progress on here, since I’ve revived this blog from the dead), but she’s feisty and sarcastic - a lot like her mother, but more willing to throw caution to the wind when it suits her.  She knew Della and Donald when they were children (she was a year older than the twins), though she spent more time with Della because of their similar natures - and because someone had to be the voice of reason when their games started to get out of hand.
