Just saw Longlegs in cinema, it was a packed room since it doesn’t seem like the film is getting a wide release here in Norway.

I really liked it! It actually scared me a little and I rarely get spooked anymore by movies. I wouldn’t say it’s overly scary or anything but yeah, my heart was racing a few times there!

Loved the character of Longlegs, very gross creepy guy, and I loved the main character Lee Harker!

I’m not too much of a film reviewer but I do recommend this one!

It'll Happen Again

Wandering around hell. I think this is the first time, but I’m sure it won’t be the last time, that I’ve published the same picture two days in a row. Sorry about that. In my own defense I’ve been burning the candle at both ends, and, in the middle. It’s that music business stuff I do. I’ve been to New York twice in one week. Luckily, it’s only a 45 minute ride by plane. I’d like to blame…

There’s something to be said about like. The gaang thinking that they need the eclipse in order to physically take down the fire nation and Aang thinking he needs to master all the eliments to kill Ozai. But then they don’t succeed. and they learn from their patterns and mistakes and the expectations that they’re holding onto. They learn from their loved ones to empower themselves and embrace change, and they learn to move through grief. They make so many mistakes and lose so many people but they move forward with all of their physical emotional and spiritual growth and they thrive. And they win on their own terms, letting go what’s not serving them and embracing their pasts. I just think that’s neat.

Excellent! Firstly, we must look a the symptoms. Heightened aggression, a tendency to ignore commands, and a slight discoloration. Discoloration, or to put it another way, anti-coloration. This is an obvious clue, telling us to look into the colors that are most against each other. As anyone will tell you, the two most opposing colors are black and white. Black and white. Blueberry Academy is in Unova. But wait, what about blue? Isn't that a clue? Hold onto that, it'll come in handy later. Naturally the first thing any Unovan will think regarding the colors black and white are the Subway Bosses Ingo and Emmet. Of course, the two of them have a good sibling relationship, thus this cannot be the answer. This brings us to the second thing any Unovan would think of. Reshiram and Zekrom. (Pictured below)

Now, we could look at how they represent truth and ideals and etcetra. BUT TRUTH AND IDEALS ARE MERELY A DISTRACTION FROM THE ULTIMATE CONCLUSION! Thus we look at their categories. The Vast White Pokemon and the Deep Dark Pokemon. Vast. Dark. Do you know what else is vast and dark? Caves. And as anyone who has been in any cave that isn't in Paldea will tell you, caves are full of Zubats. (Pictured below)

And we know we are on the right track as Zubats are blue. Just like a Blueberry! This is why I told you to remember blue. Now then, Zubat evolves into Golbat and then Crobat. Crobat have two pairs of wings. Two pairs. To par? Golf. We must look into a Golfer (Pictured below) for our next clue!

There is a golfer in Alola in possession of three Minior (Pictured below).

This was obviously a coded message! But what could it mean? Blue, red, yellow. Red rhymes with and. Sort of. Anyway, this leaves us with blue and yellow. Blue and yellow make green! Green as in grass. The grass type! Do you know what kind of pokemon is a grass type? Lots of them, it's very common. Thus we need to narrow it down via process of elimination. Blueberry Academy is one of the few places Terastalization can occur. The other two are Paldea and Kitakami. Paldea is already elimentated since Zubats don't live there. Lucky. Thus this leaves Kitakami. The most notable grass type there? Ogerpon! (Pictured below.)

...this was the only photo I had on file, okay? Moving on. Ogerpon. O! Orre! But where to from here? It's simple. You see those sleeves on Ogerpon? Sleeves go on arms. Albeit in this case they technically don't go on anything since Ogerpon doesn't have any arms. But that's not relevant. Do you know what also goes on an arm? A Snag Machine (Pictured below.)

The Snag Machine was used by Team Snagem, who clearly aren't very creative in names. Obviously.

They lost around the same time their headquarters in Eclo Canyon (Pictured below) blew up.

The perpetrator of this? Unknown. Unknown? Or perhaps... Unown (Pictured below).

Unown have been theorized to be partly behind the development of the written language. They also seem to communicate with each psychically.

Secret? Language? A secret language.

A Cipher! Cipher is a mysterious criminal organization that sought to take over the world, and was believed to have gone defunct shortly after its leader Greevil surrendered himself to the police.

The files don't say which police force he surrendered to, so I have no idea where he is. But what I do know is that he had children. Twins. One has left Cipher behind for good. But the other? The other swore to one day rebuild Cipher back up again. The conclusion. Cipher has been rebuilt from the ground up and were in fact responsible for the fall of Team Snagem as they reclaimed their stolen Snag Machine, which was originally a creation of Cipher. They seek to recreate Shadow Pokemon! These disturbances at Blueberry are merely the result of them conducting their research on innocent Pokemon to reconstruct the lost data and rebuild from the ground up! Now, I know what you're thinking. That's right! They clearly intend on performing the shadowification procedure on Ogerpon in an attempt to recreate the success of Shadow Lugia (Pictured below)!

Once they have Shadow Ogerpon, they will move Shadow Ogerpon disguised as a statue of Reshiram and Zekrom to Orre via their secret network of smugglers disguised as golfers!

Then they will release a large swarm of Zubats into Paldean Caves in order to distract the global authorities with the resulting enviromental crisis while they begin amassing an army of Shadow Pokemon!

How fiendishly clever.

Unfortunately for them, I will not be fooled by such deceptions.

Cypher’s gonna invade with an army of shadow Pokemon, disguised as golfers, using Zubats as a distraction…

well obviously there's a lot of things, but to narrow it down:

I would have LOVED to see more (if anything at all) from Blaine's family. His dynamic with Cooper was one of my favourite things. And I would also love to know more about Blaine's relationship with his parents.

Kurt solos. mainly competition solos.. the fact that Mike Chang got to sing more during competitions than Kurt, like,, wtf is up with that??

Kurt's vogue.com internship. I fukcing loved that storyline so much, dear god. Kurt was so in his eliment there. He was appreciated for his talents and I loved isabelle wright as his mentor <33

As cliche as it might sound, I think it actually would be Kurt.

Drivers For My Dark Garden Narrative

Whilst telling the story of me, through gardening, I was inspired by a local photographer, Matt Peers, to start looking at things in a more in-depth political way.  He takes pictures of regular everyday people and objects, turning the struggling and the demolished into strong, beautiful pieces of art. 

I am also trying to highlight the positives that can be found in the depth of crisis'.

Whilst working on the dark 90s trend report , I used the trend forecaster WGSN.  It forecasted that people will turn to fashion to help them deal with the current global polycrisis and will want to see the eliments of their own strugles portrayed in the clothes that they wear.  “Don’t be afraid to experiment with dark, dystopian themes that allow consumers to express and validate complex emotions. This offers an antidote to toxic positivity and the uptight, inauthentic aesthetics that have saturated Instagram and our lives in the past few years; in 2024/25, consumers will embrace radical acceptance instead” (WGSN)

Merging the briefs from my previous two pieces of work and research has allowed me to create a strong narrative for this one.  I want to use the death, disease, and strugles of plants found in the garden, giving people things that they can relate too and providing them with different ways of looking at the crisis' around them. People have been disjointed from nature, and the bigger echological picture causing them confusion and anxiety. Dark Garden will portray how disease is important. It helps us make positive changes to improve our health in the future, both personally and through evolution.  Death and decay are important. They focus our minds on purposeful actions and are the answers to over used body’s. Also, it allows for natures infinite experimentation of finite chemical elements, further boosting evolution.  We can find strength and resilience through hardship, bettering our experience of life. Seeing all these things happen in their garden will ease people back into understanding their own role in the bigger picture.

I want my final garment to teach its wearer that they are an integral part of the circle of life.

D&D what a game

I am running a DnD game online for my friends that live all around the country.  Just some details to put these shenanigans in perspective. 

1)I am a first time dm to DnD.  I have dm other games but not dnd. Most of my players are first time dnd players or first time ttrpg players. All members of this dnd game are neurodiverse.  I have OCD, we have mutiple people with adhd, autism, mental health shit going on.

2) I am homebrewing my world, many of the species inlcuding bbeg/player races, monsters, items.  I also am making maps for everything because I have one player with Aphantasia so no inner mindscape to do things off of.  My game has a fear/madness component due to my homebrew bbeg which add a horrer eliment to the game.  I have a very good imagination and love discriping things.

3) My main badies are a homebrew monster called Phobias.  These things are made of shadow and black icor, can posses people, can drive people insain and intrap them in their own minds.  They feed off of magic and fear.

Ok all that put together makes for a game that needs to stay on focus has tight schedualling and should be viseral/spooky.  I am going for some serouse things here. Reallity is nope.

Players cats jumping up into the screen and doing something cute everytime I start to set the mood for horrer.  Enough to the point I made a joke about making the cats npcs because they show up so much.  Now next arc of story has tabaxi pirate passed off eveyones cats.  Horror 0 comedy 1.

Phobia bbeg of first arc killed in a shower of glitter because bard convinced me to let them add glitter effect to atatcks with a crit (also character bassed on liberachie).

Our fighter every time fear/madnes is rolled and they fail roll and gets hit with either feingting or stunned so can move.  Fighter has fainting goat condition.

Our forest gnome has used speack with animals very well.  In second arc of game the party needed to pull a heist to rescue some people.  I ahd planned for many ways for them to get in and out.  I never planned for speak with animals to lead to the party using squirrels to figure out the gaurds schedual and then using racoons given firecracers to distract the gaurds.  My mutliple plans where defeated by small urban creatures bribed with food and shines.  (also my mistake for making creatures on university grounds more intelligent due to radiant magic and idea that bleed over from discworld series)

Highly intelligent racoon demanded payment in gold and reserving books on organizing goverment from local bookshop.  Only thing stoping them is language barrier.  Squirrels have obbsetion with icecream and need writting instiments in their size.  Joke has become give it 10 years and there will be two more sentient player races in my world.  Squirrels new jersey, Racoons yakouza. 

The idea of phobia and confertations so far have left an imprettion and they do do everything smarter.  They don’t just bash in and play big damn heroes.  They take time and find tools and do things I love.  They play so smart and don’t leave a trail of bodies behind them.  I atually have a problem that sometimes I need them to push a button and they are like nope not going there it might be spooky.  We laugh so much which makes the times the horrer/phobia are present more viseral, more dangerous.  

I am still a new dm and mess up on combat alot, many times I plan for comboat and my player go nope and walk away from the fight.  Barbarian intidation rolls have stopped combot even before it started and has actually gained allies. 

I adjust them game every week to fit what brain capacity my players have.  You having a bad adhd day ok throw out this puzzle lock and throw in a new idea I made up on the spot.  Player feeling sick from real life stuff ok throw out this combat and discripe an awesome sceen.  You want to be quiet in your character because you have autism in real life but your quiet character does the most amazing things with speak with animals/plants that just skips whole enire issues sure.  But they adjust back with me my OCD sometimes doesn’t allow me to add flavor to stuff because I am managing to many things, but they are cool with it.  Do I refrence shows and moves directly to discripe a scenn for my player with  Aphantasia yes, does it diminish my world no.

I wanted to run this spooky serous game but most of all I wanted to laugh with my friends that I don’t get to see because they all live in diffrent places.  I love my little home brew world I love that I get to scare my friends but also laugh with them so much my face hurts.  Do I do everything right, no.  Do I throw in stuff and allow people to do stuff because it makes them happy yes, rule of cool is present.  Rule of smart is the heart of my game.  Tell me why and how and we will see if its possible (example damening sound of armor with sacks to not have disadvantage on stealth but keep armor on, yes historic presidnce and using smarts, hell yes you can have that).  Use those overly intelligent animals I made up in a second and grabed a random accent for.  

I didnt get into dnd for years because eveyone I know who played it where murdohoobs, I didnt like the premade campains, and my firends wheren’t close enough to play at my home.  Things change, critical role showed my dnd was a fun game, other ttrpg games helped show me I loved being a dm where I only kinda liked being a player.  I want to play other ttrpg games.  I cant wait to do the next arc of my current dnd game with pirate cats and get my players to the heart fo where my Phobias come from.  I think its going to be a laugh.

I didnt take pictures but kiryu doesnt have a storage of counter top stoves, or hidden heating eliments p much anywhere you can find in the apartment. Leads you to believe he doesn't cook at all, subsisting off of microwave meals, and take out. Ingredients are never an option even when they're a part of the game. Food venders are kept out of the way where you have to fight to find them.

From a game narrative, the game leads you down kiryus frequent haunts, guiding you to places Kiryu goes to, and lets you in useless places that kiryu has a vague interest in at least. Not game mandatory, but you CAN go to a strip club, a call shop, the arcade, karaoke bar, regular bars, the disco. These are Kiryus interests, even just vaguely, and the absence of even the option tells a lot about Kiryu himself.

Typically pockets the limit, typically its dealers choice of what you can and cant stuff your pockets to the brim with. The choice that youd usually choose is health items, but Yakuza gives you a myriad of choices of useless things you can keep on person, from toys, to clothes and perfume, to literal fish. Food isn't included among any of that.

Even when cooking is something Kiryu involves himself in in later games its still not included, and he's shown to be a bad cook with a clumsy understanding of how to do it. And no option to go to the grocery store, or if you can it doesn't provide food, just more quick snacks.

Biased by chef life, but my god Im obsessed with Kiryus lack of food in y0. Hes just like me fr.

Meet one of my Witches, i have quite a collection.

This is Sitka

She is a Forest Witch and the marker for Baba Yaga. Her heart is replaced with a green Quartz (something I've enabled in my witch's)

She stands between 7 and 8 feet and is believed to live in The Taiga. Away from civilisation, but should any travelier stumble upon her home, she doesn't hesitate to pick them off.

She's actually a gentle giant. She loves children, and despite the stories surrounding her, she will guide lost children out of the forest and towrds safty, and will often be left gifts.

HOWEVER, she will not hesitate to eat children eather if they continuously disturb her for 'fun'.
