uncollected thoughts on episode 6 aka 'Chika Has 9 Hands' so I don't end up making a billion posts and physically dying on the spot

- id like to start out with this knowledge: the whole episode? the entire episode? it's kanachika. the whole thing? every scene? it's kananchika. and that's ALL we're going to get. - YET AGAIN we have chika calling seira but HOW did they exchange phone numbers and WHEN like as much as I love the idea of the two "rival" groups bein on friendly terms and shit like....when did they...im just...there's QUESTIONS, - mito?????????????????????? - YALL ARE SLEEPIN ON MARICHIKA IT HAD WAY MORE POTENTIAL THAN U THINK ITS LIKE A SLEEPER AGENT SHIP....way more like the elihono vibe than dia or kananchika - chika 'i need to be a shonen protagonist' takami - ill say it again: mito takami is my favourite fucking character in the show she's utmost by far the most relatable . tea. - kanans selfish streak showin again, and this is a more serious point of discussion I think. it's not bad, and i wouldn't call her self centred exactly, but it's interesting to see those traits carry over even after all the Drama(tm) from last season -- she's ultimately a good person, but seem to have trouble properly empathising with people on a serious level??? maybe ???? like, she lets her own thoughts cloud her judgement sometimes, and doesn't really like to get involved unless she has to. also, she is like, so afraid of feeling pain that she'd rather just go the easier route, even if it fails, because at least it hurts less. it starts to shed light as to why she was a massive egghead last season but it's still no excuse but i still love her A Lot she's just a 17 y/old goin thru some shit ok leave my daughter alone - "welcome to hell zone"

While the update was good I thought that elihono was kinda rushed here. Which is weird cause your honoeli is usually great or very natural. It feels like I havent read a important conversation or two when reading honoka and eli talk (or when chila and eli talk)

Oh shoot, I just noticed this!I kind of already answered this on Ao3 so I’m going to give you the same answer if that’s okay. 

I think it's been a slow process. Like Honoka finally figuring out she can have romantic feelings like that, thinking she has feelings for Chika and then Eli finally spurs herself to make a move now that Honoka seems 'available' which in turn then makes Honoka's feelings focused, kind of thing. Because she knows what it feels like to be with Maki and now she knows what it feels like to be with Eli and she realizes it's completely different. So I think when it's thought about like that it doesn't really seem sudden? Just like putting all of the different pieces together and stuff and taking into consideration what's led them to this point.

Oh also Honoka is going to mention the suddenness of Eli’s feelings in the next chapter so...

LOL now I don’t consider them a crack ship because it’s still one of the more popular Honoka ships I’ve seen out there (Honoka x one of BiBi in fact). Not one of my preferred ships though (anime-wise anyway), but I’ll give it a try! They-are- kinda cute in the manga

5. Guilty Pleasures

Eli spoils the adorable puppy that is Honoka, because who can resist those bright blue eyes and sunny smile? While Honoka does things subconsciously most of the time, she may use her puppy-like cuteness to her advantage and smoothly pushes Eli over nudge Eli into taking her side. Honoka also loves being the heroine to save Eli from the dark.”Faito da yo, Eli-chan!”

Eli is proud of being Honoka’s pillar of support, and urges Honoka to cry more often if she ever feels the need. Honoka’s let her her barrier down since their huge hug prior to the Snow Halation performance. Also, a crying Honoka is 10x endearing, 10 Harasho.
