New harbor, old jouney

Looking back over the last ten or fifteen years, I see that many experiences have been lived, many challenges faced, and many new horizons explored. Beautiful and less beautiful things have happened, some things haven't changed, others are no longer recognizable, and, I hope, others are on the verge of evolving for the better. I realize how much my creative path has changed over the years and at the same time how much it's still the same. Experiences and especially experiments have contributed to my creative vision and have led me towards new horizons. However, the creative spark within me has never been extinguished. It's always been there, urging me to explore one world, then another, and as a good Jack of All Trades, which I aspire to be, now I have many more experiences and skills in my very own knowledge bank. One thing that has been somewhat lost over the years, honestly, is drawing. There are many reasons, but I've decided that it's time to reignite this flame and share here my new journey. And also something of all the other paths that I occasionally tread, because, just like when I wander through my favorite city or just as I do when I'm on vacation in a new city, the thing I prefer to do is to walk as many streets as possible, without objectives and with an open mind. You never know which detail you'll take home, nor which tool or piece of information will come in handy, so it's worth leaving room for chance. It won't be a grand rebirth, but rather a gradual beginning to share what I create, my passions, and my experiences. I'm not very good at keeping a blog or a diary. My creative adventures often unfold through experiments, sketches, and ideas that take shape without a predetermined path and often without even establishing the necessary order of operations. However, I feel the need to find a new port of call for my creations and ideas, a place where I can share my creative process spontaneously and authentically. And so, I begin this new journey on a platform that offers me the freedom to explore without restrictions. Here, I'll share sketches, works in progress, and reflections on my artistic practice. It won't be a traditional blog, but rather a place where I can be carried away by my creativity without rules or expectations. From time to time, I'll start posting some of my sketches here, small fragments of my artistic vision, hoping that over time there will be an improvement that I, day after day, sincerely struggle to see. I'll take you with me on my journeys through the city streets, capturing the essence and beauty of the city I encounter along the way, often through the small details that we usually overlook. And, why not, I'll let you peek into my small woodworking workshop, showing you the projects that have already taken shape and those that will take shape in the future. For a while, I shared what I want to share here on social media, but, whether it's age, the sometimes too conflictual and oppressive environment, or the paradoxical ephemeral experience of social media, I've decided to let them go as much as possible and resume a journey, perhaps more solitary and peaceful, but less scatterbrained and negative here. I don't know what the future holds for this new creative harbor, but I'm excited to see where this journey will take me. Even though I'm not very good at keeping a blog or a diary, I'm ready to embrace this new adventure and see where my creativity and curiosity will lead me.

Nuovi approdi, vecchi viaggi

Guardando agli ultimi dieci o quindici anni, vedo che molte esperienze sono state vissute, molte sfide affrontate e molti nuovi orizzonti esplorati. Sono successe cose belle e meno belle, certe cose non sono cambiate, altre non si riconoscono più, e, spero, altre ancora sono sul punto di evolvere in meglio. Mi rendo conto di quanto sia cambiato il mio percorso creativo nel corso degli anni e allo stesso tempo quanto sia ancora lo stesso. Esperienze e soprattutto esperimenti hanno contribuito alla mia visione creativa e mi hanno portato verso nuovi orizzonti. Tuttavia la scintilla creativa dentro di me non si è mai spenta. È sempre stata lì, una volta mi ha spinto ad esplorare un mondo, una volta l'altro, e da buona Jack of All Trades quale desidero essere, ora ho molte più esperienze e capacità nel mio personalissimo bagaglio di conoscenze. Una cosa che negli anni si è persa un po', sinceramente, è quella del disegno. I motivi son tanti, ma ho deciso che è giunto il momento di riaccendere questa fiamma e di condividere qui il mio nuovo percorso. E anche qualcosa di tutti gli altri percorsi che di tanto in tanto bazzico, perchè, esattamente come quando giro per la mia città preferita o proprio come faccio quando sono in vacanza in una città nuova, la cosa che preferisco fare è percorrere più strade possibili, senza obiettivi e a mente aperta. Non sai mai quale dettaglio ti porterai a casa, nè quale tool o informazione ti tornerà utile, tanto vale lasciare una mano anche al caso. Non sarà una rinascita in grande stile, ma piuttosto un inizio graduale alla condivisione di quello che creo, delle mie passioni e delle mie esperienze. Non sono una persona molto brava a tenere un blog o un diario. Le mie avventure creative spesso si svolgono attraverso esperimenti, schizzi e idee che prendono forma senza un percorso prestabilito e spesso senza nemmeno aver stabilito il necessario ordine delle operazioni. Tuttavia sento il bisogno di trovare un nuovo porto d'approdo per le mie creazioni e idee, un luogo dove condividere il mio processo creativo in modo spontaneo e autentico. E così, inizio questo nuovo viaggio su una piattaforma che mi offre la libertà di esplorare senza restrizioni. Qui, condividerò schizzi, progetti in corso e riflessioni sulla mia pratica artistica. Non sarà un blog tradizionale, ma piuttosto un luogo dove posso lasciarmi trasportare dalla mia creatività senza regole o aspettative. Di tanto in tanto, inizierò a postare qui alcuni dei miei sketch, piccoli frammenti della mia visione artistica, sperando che nel tempo si veda un miglioramento che io, giorno dopo giorno, sinceramente fatico a scorgere. Vi porterò con me nei miei viaggi attraverso le strade della città, catturando l'essenza e la bellezza della città che incontro lungo il cammino, spesso attraverso i piccoli dettagli che di solito perdiamo di vista. E, perché no, vi farò sbirciare nel mio piccolo laboratorio di falegnameria, mostrandovi i progetti che hanno preso e prendranno forma tra le mie mani. Per un periodo ho condiviso quello che voglio condividere qui sui social, ma, sarà l'età, sarà l'ambiente a volte troppo conflittuale ed opprimente, o la paradossale esperienza effimera dei social, ho deciso di lasciarli perdere il più possibile e riprendere un viaggio, magari più solitario e tranquillo, ma meno dispersivo e negativo qui. Non so cosa riserverà il futuro per questo nuovo porto d'approdo creativo, ma sono entusiasta di vedere dove mi porterà questo viaggio. Anche se non sono molto brava a tenere un blog o un diario, sono pronta ad abbracciare questa nuova avventura e a vedere dove mi condurrà la mia creatività e curiosità.

and the topic of mothers. sometimes...nero can't help to feel very bitter about her mother, but she won't let this bitterness ruin her mood. the other seemed to really love her mother and she should feel happy for her. Even if she was lacking in some ways, there were tricks to make up for what she might have lacked. Asked about her aspirations, Ruby's cheeks burned red again. She wasn't used to admitting why she was so determined to walk this path, but there was no dangers with being honest in this city.
