Never noticed the pawprint on his boxers before. And I though I couldn't like him more!
Also, not to be *that* enby, but you did miss one. When he asks you what you want to see him in, your choice *does* change it. Here, have mine (below the cut since I have a couple marshmallows following me, and a couple lesbians, and a lesbian marshmallow)

In Love with All of You
Summary: Eli Kawase has opened up to you and told you that heâs a different Eli everyday. Youâre fine with that, but are you fine with the way that you present yourself? The thoughts rear their head on your third date, you get a little bit upset, but Eli is there to help.
Authorâs Notes: Oops, writing for a very niche game. For the love of everything PLEASE give âHush Hush: Only Your Love Can Save Themâ a go. I love all of Sad Panda Studioâs games and I like how you can play them pretty much SFW and having NSFW being entirely optional. I got into their games from playing Blush Blush. Came for the otome idle clicker, stayed for the characters. Eli is no exception, especially in Hush Hush. He was very fun to write for!
This fic gets a bit serious before it gets tooth-rottingly sweet. Warnings for talk about deep thoughts with gender and identity. Also I mention the word dick. Dick. PENIS! If youâre laughing at the word, consider going back to school for sex education and laugh about it there.
Gender neutral pronouns for the reader as the game does this, and he/him pronouns for Eli as the game and himself refer to him as male.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it. :]
Words: ~2,000 | AO3 Link
A beautiful, sunny day in Subrosa can only be spent outside on the beach. Which is exactly what youâre doing - on Subrosaâs famous beach. Doing anything else would be a crime. But youâre not alone: you have a date!
Youâve hit third base with your date, Eli Kawase, funnily enough on your third date. Youâve had such a fun time on your dates with him. He had a bit of reluctance to continue dating you after heâs tried really hard to set you up with his sister, but you told him youâre still one hundred percent fine with going out with him. So youâre both trucking along and having fun.
However, after your serious talk on your first date (which is strange for Eli, because of how he acts), you also have just a tiny bit of reluctance. But not because of Eli himself; youâre totally fine with Eli being genderfluid and pansexual. Youâre more so wondering if youâre right for him, being the way you are. Does he actually like you like you, or are you both just playing along to have fun? You needed to know.
As the sun started to set and turned the sky a beautiful caramel, you both sat under your beach parasol and fluffy pair of towels, admiring the gentle waves in the distance.
âWell, I had a lot of fun today, thank you cutie.â Eli was the first to break the silence, letting out a content sigh, fiddling with the hem of his sundress. âThis is probably the most fun Iâve had in a while. And thatâs saying a lot, since Iâve messed around pretty much with everyone in Subrosa! Youâre definitely one in a million.â
âI had such a great time too, Eli. Thank you for making this vacation so fun.â You smiled, the soft breeze blowing your hair. Your heart was overflowing with warmth as you looked into his eyes. âWe can still have some more fun, even if the sun is setting - how about we continue this at mine?â You suggested, turning to Eli.
âOh, I would be delighted! Even if we just relax. Or if we get freaky, I donât mind!â He gave you a wink and a smirk. âLet me just head home real quick and get cleaned up. I donât wanna trail sand through your house, and it always seems to get trapped in the most awkward places! We donât want that!â He giggled as he got up, adjusting his dress.
âDo you need a lift?â You asked, picking up the towels and collapsing the parasol.
âNah, Iâm good. My house isnât far from here anyways. Just text me your address, and Iâll be there in a jiffy! Iâll change into something a bit more comfortable.â
+++
You drove back to the Airbnb, cleaned yourself up and changed into some cleaner clothes that werenât absolutely covered in sand. Your âcatâ didnât seem to be around this time, so she must be asleep and hiding somewhere, which might be a good thing since youâll be having a guest.
Just as that thought crossed your mind, the doorbell rang. âIâm coming!â You called as you paced over to the door, unlocking and opening it. Eli was there, now dressed in a white button up and brown pants. Quite different to the long yellow dress, sandals and sun hat he was wearing earlier today. Though, you were used to Eli switching it up at this point. He smelt faintly of cologne, you savoured the scent as he drew himself close for a hug.
âAww, I missed you too. Even if we were only apart for half an hour,â He leaned in and kissed both of your cheeks, making you giggle. You invited him inside, both of you settling down on the couch. âOoh, nice place you got here. You mustâve had this place booked in advance, aye! Itâs perfect for an unforgettable summer vaycay!â
âYeah, itâs a nice little house. The neighbours are old, so itâs quiet at night time. Iâve got no complaints.â You replied, sinking into the couch to make yourself comfortable. âSo, how about we watch a movie first? Have some snacks?â
âThatâs such a wonderful idea, I was about to suggest the same thing!â Eli beamed, reaching for the TV remote as you got up to whip up some food.
+++
It was just a generic romcom you found on Netflix. It was at least a little bit funny, though neither of you were really paying attention with both of your talking and laughing. Background noise, really. Although, the main characters in the movie started to get hot and heavy, showcasing a wonderful display of them kissing, andâŠ
âHeeeey, wanna do the thing? I mean, theyâre doing it, right? Isnât this what youâre meant to do when you watch romcoms with something youâre romantically and maybe a little bit sexually interested in?â Eli gave a smirk with a glint in his eyes, leaning towards you. You nodded in agreement, diving in for a kiss. But as things started to advance in your make out session, Eli fiddling with the buttons on your shirt, your hands reached up to his wrists in hesitation.
âWait,â you whispered, your cheeks blushing.
âWhat, getting all embarrassed now?â He chuckled with a cheeky grin, but waited for you to continue.
âNo, itâs not that, justâŠâ you voice trailed off, Eli frowned as your tone changed.
âIs it me? I thought we established early on that Iâve got a dickââ
âNo, no! Itâs not you! Itâs never been you!â You quickly interjected, shaking your head frantically. âIâm totally fine with you - all of you! Itâs me thatâs the issue.â
Eli didnât respond, but raised his eyebrow, urging you to continue.
âAre you sure you want⊠me? I mean, Iâm not that exciting, or great. And Iâm only here for the rest of the month. I just donât want us to get super serious, and then you decide Iâm not what you were expecting, andââ Eli gently placed a finger on your lip before you babbled on anymore.
âDarling, I love everything about you. I know at first we were only talking because I was trying to set you up with my sister, but that ship crashed and burned, so I wanted to give us a chance, too.â He responded, smiling, though he was serious. âIâm absolutely crazy about you, thatâs why I told you everything about me having a dick and all on our first date! I wouldnât have told you if I wasnât serious about this. Iâve got so much love to give, regardless of my gender, someone elseâs, or whatâs in someoneâs pants. Iâll love you, for you.â
âYou⊠you mean it?â You asked, your eyes just stinging a bit with tears during this emotional moment.
âI do. If youâre not ready yet, we can just slow down, whatever makes you comfortable. Iâm happy to wait,â he placed his hand on your cheek, stroking it with his thumb.
âThank you, Eli. And⊠Iâm sorry for getting all emotional.â You let out a watery sigh, but composed yourself with a sniffle, reaching up to wipe your eyes before they get too wet.
âNo, Iâm glad you brought it up,â he helped you wipe the tears away, reaching up with his other hand. He puffed out his chest before he spoke, grinning. âBut before we continue, youâve just gotta turn that frown upside down! Otherwise youâll make me all sad too!â
âIâll try⊠just for you.â
âNo, not just try - do! Or, yâknow, I could helpâŠâ his smile turned devious, you had a feeling you knew what was brewing in his mind. âDonât think I forgot that little tickle fight we had at the boutique on our first date - the Tickle Monsterâs gonna tickle you so much you completely forget being upset!â
âNoâ wait, Eli!â You pleaded, quickly shooting up from your seat. You booked it for the bedroom, leaving Eli a bit stunned.
âOoh, youâve made it so much more worse for yourself, hun!â
The chase was on - though it didnât last for long. You needed somewhere to hide, so you hid yourself in the closet and shut the door. Eli entered the bedroom, his voice sounding mischievous.
âI think youâve forgotten, my dear. I am an older sibling,â His voice boomed with dramatics. He approached the closet door, standing just outside of it. You held your breath, not wanting to be discovered, but it was futile. âIâve done this song and dance more times than you can count, so I know all the tricks in the book!â He twisted the knob, the door flying open. You squeaked as he dived into the dark, grabbing you as you protested and weakly smacked him as he carried you out, bouncing you down onto the bed. He straddled your waist as you tried to wriggle away.
âEli, donât! You know Iâm ticklish!!â You let out a whine, but you were enjoying this more than you were letting on, and he knew it.
He cracked his knuckles for dramatic effect as he wiggled his fingers at you, your cheeks burning red. âToo late, pumpkin. Your fate is sealed. Besides, I know youâve been waitinâ for this!â He dove right in, going straight for your tummy. You let out a shriek as you squirmed around in his hold, throwing your head into the pillows as you laughed yourself silly.
âThereâs that beautiful smile! That suits you SO much better than a frown, doesnât it?â He commented as he glided his fingers over your stomach through your shirt, not offering you much protection. âYour adorable tummy is as soft as a marshmallow! I wonder if it tastes the same, too?â He pondered aloud as you shook your head.
âDONâT Yâ HAHAHA!! DONâT YOU DARE, ELI!â But it was far too late. As he scribbled his fingers on his left hand, he was already unbuttoning the bottom of your shirt with his right. Before you knew it, his hands switched to scratching at your ribs as his head dived straight into your belly.
You positively cackled. You tried pushing his head filled with rainbow locks away, but he wasnât budging. He gave your soft belly peppered kisses, and to be even more evil than he already was, blew some raspberries as well. You gripped onto his hair as your skin vibrated, being overwhelmed with the ticklish sensations. No skin on your stomach was ignored as you cried out in hysterics. Tears even welled up in the corners of your eyes, though they were very much the opposite of the upset tears you had earlier.
He continued his tickling onslaught, so you could forget ever doubting your sense of worth ever again by turning your brain into soup. As your laughter grew silent, he got the hint that you were hitting a limit. He gradually grew to a stop, giving your tummy a pat as a sign that he was done as he sat upright.
âWhew, that was a workout for you, huh?â He chuckled quietly, reaching over to wipe some of the tears streaming down your face with his thumb. âSorry if I went a little overboard - I had to get a little revenge from our tickle fight from last time. I hope thatâs okay.â He reached down to your shirt as he intended on doing your buttons back up, until you reached out and grabbed his hand with yours. He looked to your face questionably, raising his eyebrow. But you smiled at him as you reached for his collar.
You grabbed him and dragged him down with you, snuggling up to him for a cuddle. He definitely wouldnât refuse.
âThank you for accepting me for who I am,â you whispered, breathing in his scent.
âNo; thank YOU for accepting me. And making me feel so comfortable.â
You leaned in for a kiss, and he gladly accepted. His fingers tangled into your hair as you deepened the kiss.
Time for another make out session, and maybe a little fun afterwards!

Regreso (Alexia Putellas X Reader)
Better late than never is my motto, and as I try to continue to get back into writing here is the continuation to Soldado you should read that first if you want to know what is going on here. Hopefully we still have access to a parachute :)
Seeing Alexia in that park and having her react the way she did was exactly what you expected. You admitted you loved her and then you ran away to a war torn country for the last 8 years you would never be able to blame her for that reaction. So you did what any person would do for the next 2 weeks, you keep your head on a swivel and avoided any of the spots you heard the footballers frequented or the ones you used to know Alexia did.Â
So when you were doing some early morning grocery shopping after coming off a night shift the last thing you expected to hear was a surprised âY/N? is that you?âÂ
As you turn you meet the eyes of the women who for most of your teenage years was like a mother to you, after yours abandoned you. âEli, wait I mean Mrs. Putellas?â you stutter out still in shock at seeing her.
As she moves closer to you, you can feel the nerves in your stomach and you brace your self for something as you assume sheâs upset. When she wraps her arms around your shoulders pulling you into her for a strong hug you let out a surprised âOhâ as she says âi am so glad you are okay Y/N.â
You sink into her hold and wrap your arms around her back as you softly say âiâm here, Iâm okay.â
You remain in her hold for a few minutes and when you pull back you see the tears in her eyes as she says softly âoh Y/N, I am so happy to see you.âÂ
You immediately can feel all your walls fall at the soft comfort of the women who was the most like a mother to you, âI missed you Eli, and I am so sorry I never calledâ you tell her softly.Â
âhush child, I know why you didnât but I understood why you needed to do what you didâ she says softly, she places her hand on yours squeezing softly as she asks âwhen did you come back?âÂ
âabout a month ago, I am working for the police force now here, It was time to come homeâ you tell her with a small smile.Â
She smiles and says âwill you come to Sunday dinner?âÂ
Shaking your head you say âyou know I canâtâ
âshe has Spain camp this week and wont be there, but Alba will be and we both missed you and love you Y/N. Itâs time you spend sometime with your familyâ she says firmly and doesnât give you the option to say no.
You smile and can feel the tears in your eyes listening to her and you nod and say âI end my night shifts Sunday morning so that works perfectly.âÂ
âgood, I look forward to it. I have to go now but I will be expecting you on Sunday, usual time Y/N.â she says sternly and you nod and smile as she leans in and presses a kiss to your cheek and whispers âsee you soon Y/N.âÂ
âbyeâ you tell her with a smile and you watch as she heads toward the checkouts. You take a moment to stand there and gather your mind as you cant help but smile to yourself as you feel a tiny piece of your heart heal after seeing her again.Â
**
The following Sunday you get off night shift, and immediately go home and sleep. After resting and getting ready you make your way towards the Putellas family home. When you get there you pause on the end of the driveway and cant help but to think of the last time you were here. 8 years ago you walked up these steps and broke your heart in a million pieces and left the only real family you had ever known.Â
Being back here brings back memories but you are not the same person you were 8 years ago, and you know you need to face your demons but having this family back by your side will make it a lot easier to do that. With that thought and the mental reminder that Alexia will not be there you move towards the door, clutching the bottle of wine you brought, you knock on the door and wait.Â
After a few moments the door opens and you are face to face with Alba, and she looks pissed off. You take a step back and take a deep breath channeling the strength you have acquired over the years and the things that have hardened you. âhola Albaâ you say with a small smile.Â
She still doesnât say anything but she moves towards you and immediately jumps on you wrapping her arms over your shoulders and legs around your waist. You can hear the soft sobs as she says âI am so glad you are okayâ at this you wrap your arms around her back and hug her back.Â
âIm right here now Alba, I am here and I am okayâ you say softly, you see Eli come up to the door behind you and she smiles and grabs the wine from your hand. With your hands free now you rub up and down her back and you continue to reassure her that you are here and okay.Â
After a few minutes she pulls her self together and drops down in front of you and she moves her hands to wipe her tears and she says a soft âsorryâ and steps back and when she meets your eyes and you smile at her she reaches out and punches your shoulder hard.Â
âow! Alba what was that for?â you screech and jump back.Â
âthat was for leavingâ she says and moves to hit you again and she says âand thats for not calling me and telling me you are okay.âÂ
You nod and say âokay I deserved that, any more?âÂ
She chuckles and says âI cant speak for my sister, but 2 punches is enough for me.âÂ
Before you can answer Eli comes back to the door and asks âif you two are done, I have wine open and dinner almost ready.âÂ
âYes I need wine now after this.â Alba responds and walks into the house past her mother.Â
You walk up to Eli and press a kiss to her cheek with a âHola Eli.âÂ
She chuckles and says âcome child we have so much to catch up onâ and she moves into the house and you follow her into the kitchen.Â
The three of you settle into the kitchen, where Eli keeps on eye on dinner and you and Alba spend the next half hour sitting in the kitchen drinking wine and catching up on everything that happened over the last 8 years.Â
You can feel your self relax and let your guard down as you feel comfortable in the house that felt more like home than any other, with people who feel like family. You can feel the walls come down as you watch Eli move around the kitchen and you have Alba beside you sneaking food off her mothers cutting board. You can feel there is one thing missing but you leave that thought alone and enjoy the current mood you are enjoying.Â
You are so relaxed you missed the front door opening but just like when you were teenagers you can feel Alexiaâs presence before you see her round the corner from the front hall. Before you see her you can hear her yell out âmama? Alba?â
They both freeze and look at you and before anyone can say anything Alexia rounds the corner and immediately meets your eyes and freezes.Â
Everything is still for a moment before Eli moves towards her daughter stepping in between the two of you to break your eye contact and she asks âAle, I thought you were in Madrid?â
âFlights got moved to tomorrow and I thought I would surprise you, but I guess I was the one getting surprisedâ she answers sharply.Â
You move to stand up and Eli turns and glares at you and you sit back down âI have all 3 of my girls in one place for the first time in 8 years, cant we just enjoy this?âÂ
Keeping your eyes downcast you know you do not want to be the one to make this decision and when no one else speaks up you know you should leave. Again you move to stand up and you start to say something but before you can someone else speaks up.Â
âNo I cant do this mama, I am sorry but you cant force me toâ Alexia says and before anyone can say anything she turns and moves to walk down the hallway to the front door.Â
âalexia wait.â both Alba and Eli say at the same time.
Before either of them can move you are out of your seat and chasing Alexia down the hallway, you exit the front door before she can get into her car and you yell out to her âAlexia wait, donât you dare run away from this, let me explain.âÂ
She turns around on you and spits out âOh coming from the queen of running away thats rich Y/N, you wrote the book on running away and I am just taking a page out of it.âÂ
Feeling the hurt of the sentence you push through the sting and respond âyou were always better then me Ale, donât stoop to my level now.âÂ
The emotions that play across her face as you say that take you by surprise, you think she seems hurt by that but that was a dig at yourself more than anything else. She shakes her head and asks âwhat do you want from me Y/N? do you want me to admit that you hurt me and you broke my heart too? or that for the last 8 years I could barley breathe every time a news article came out about a soldier dieing? or do you want me to admit that when I saw you last week it felt like I could finally take a deep breath in knowing you were alive and well? What do you want from me Y/N, cause I have no idea what to even think anymore, and the last thing I expected was to walk in on you sitting in my mamas kitchen like nothing happened!âÂ

dog whisperer (before the void blurb) II a.putellas, j.hermoso
part of the filling the void universe dog whisperer II a.putellas, j.hermoso
"mami he is too bouncy, he will knock her over!" alexia argued in a hushed tone, glancing to the door to make sure there wasn't a set of little ears listening in.
"she has met him a dozen times ale, your hermanita will be fine." eli reminded, not even looking up from the book she was reading as her eldest daughter scoffed.
"sĂ when he has been tied up or there are a million other people around for him to play with. mami she's too little he will hurt her!" alexia continued to disagree, crossing her arms and scowling.
"alexia, hija it is for a week and it is for family. angel will be here tomorrow, que es definitivo." eli warned firmly. "but mami-" a sharp look had alexia's words dying in her mouth as she signed, the pitter patter of small feet entering the room.
"i want angel to come! he's my friend!" you demanded, shooting through your sisters legs and skidding to a halt at the end of the bed. "lo sé fresita, and he will be here tomorrow." eli smiled while alexia rolled her eyes.
"hermana, ven aquĂ." your sister squatted down and pointed to the floor in front of her as you made your way over, her hands resting on your shoulders.
"now fresa, angel can be...too friendly sometimes. he can jump and bounce and bark and play rough-" alexia warned, glancing over your head as eli cleared her throat and raised an eyebrow, snapping her book shut.
"so he is going to stay outside, and you are only allowed to go and see angel if someone bigger is with you. like me, or alba, or mami, or-" alexia was cut off as you stomped your foot.
"no. angel is my friend, he's not staying outside what if it rains? he would get wet, thats mean!" you protested with a scowl, trying to wriggle away as your sisters hands tightened on your shoulders.
"nena angel will be fine outside. he has a comfortable bed and lots of toys and a water bowl and-" again she was cut off as you grunted trying to pull away. "no! no, no, no-" you chanted over and over, alexia letting you go at eli's warning.
"angel is not staying outside. mami, you tell her!" you ordered, turning toward eli who smiled. "we will see where angel wants to stay, he should get to choose hija no?" you settled at that, hesitating before nodding in agreement, alexia throwing her hands up in annoyance.
"angel isn't gonna like you if you're mean to him hermana." you warned your sister with a glare, smacking her leg and stomping your way out of the room in the most dramatic way a five year old could.
"watch the attitude pequeña!" alexia called after you as you turned and poked your tongue out, racing quickly away as she stepped menacingly toward you. "what?" the girl looked to eli with a frown who chuckled.
"she is exactly like you." eli smiled fondly causing her eldest to roll her eyes. "me? no thats all alba." alexia scoffed, shaking her head in disagreement.
"good! i don't wanna be like you anyway ale, you're mean to dogs!" you sang out from the living room, clearly still eavesdropping though out of sight.
"fresa." alexia groaned throwing her head back and coming to find you. "i thought we were going to the park?" your sister reminded as you scowled at her from the lounge, staying silent.
"you know, jenni will be there." alexia added on, watching your eyes widen slightly.
"really?" "really."
"lets go!" you changed your mind, smile plastered on your face as you jumped down and raced for the door, stopped in your tracks as your sister snagged the collar of your top.
"ale!" you whined trying to pry her hand off. "you need shoes tonto." alexia chuckled, spinning you around and gently pushing you in the direction of your bedroom as you sprinted away.
"and you have to wear socks with them fresa!"
~
angel sure enough arrived that next day though you weren't home when he did, out at a play date with a friend. you'd started to have quite the active social life now you were in your first year of school.
angel himself wouldn't hurt a fly on purpose, but the dopey chocolate labrador belonging to your tio was not aware of his own size, forever knocking things over and smacking into walls as he ran about too fast to stop himself.
he'd failed puppy school twice, and though he'd sit for a treat that was about all the lab would do, when it came to anything else he was seemingly as deaf as a plank of wood.
when you got home you were disappointed to see angel wasn't there, your sisters having taken him out for a walk in hopes to wear him out for the evening.
waving goodbye to your friend and her papi at the front door and ignoring elis' open arms for a hug you raced past her inside as your mami chuckled and grabbed the backpack you'd abandoned at her feet.
"mami where's angel?" you frowned sadly after searching everywhere you thought a dog could be in the house but coming up empty handed.
"your hermana's took him for a walk, they will be back soon. now how was your afternoon nena?" eli lifted you up and onto the counter, disappointment gone as you perked up and busied yourself rambling on and on about every single little detail of your day.
your sisters meanwhile were not having a good time.
to any onlooker who passed it would be hard to tell who was walking who, angel practically dragging alba who stumbled not to fall over as alexia repeated the commands given to her by his owner over and over with no luck.
"angel, stop. sit. slow down!" the footballer repeated, almost jogging to try and keep up as alba's hand started to go red from the lead tugging against it.
"and we have to do this for a week!?" the younger girl groaned, turning onto their street and breathing a sigh of relief as finally angel stopped pulling, eagerly sniffing around in the grass.
though when he began to turn in circles both putellas sisters eyes widened, wincing as the dog squatted and sure enough nature took its course as both girls spun to look at one another and spoke in unison.
"you're cleaning it up!"
you were midway through a very thorough recount of what you had for lunch when you heard the front door, head swiveling toward the source of the noise.
"angel sit! angel sit! sit!" alexia ordered, remembering her tio's instructions to get the lab to do so before his harness was removed, however all he did was pull and fight against her hold on the lead.
"estĂșpido perro de mierda!" the girl swore, giving up and just unclipping the leash as the dog raced off still with his harness on, nails clacking against the floorboards. "you said a bad word!" you yelled from the kitchen, alexia wincing as alba snickered.
"angel!" you cheered happily, laughing as he tried to jump up to reach you on the counter, alexia quickly scooping you up and pushing him away with her foot as he continued to jump and ignore everyones instructions to calm down.
"put me down." you grunted trying to wriggle out of your sisters tight grip as alba tried to wrestle angel into a sitting position with her hand on his collar. "he needs to calm down hermana, he might hurt you." alexia warned ignoring your request.
"no he won't he's friendly!" you defended the lab who barked loudly as eli shushed him. "he's too excited, mami i'm putting him outside until he calms down." alba grunted, struggling to pull the dog toward the back door.
"no! leave him alone." you huffed as alba too ignored you, throwing open the back door and pushing angel out, breathing a sigh of relief as he raced off to explore the garden and she pulled it close again.
"don't you kick me." alexia warned sternly as you dug your foot into her side, eli telling her to put you down as she did so with an eye roll.
"fresa no don't you open that-" eli's words fell on deaf ears as you reached up and flung open the back door, three pairs of eyes widening as angel turned and came sprinting over.
"angel sit!" you yelled with a hand up, silence falling as the dopey lab did exactly that, skidding to a stop right in front of you and sitting back on his hind legs. "did he just-" alba started in disbelief.
"lay down." you tapped your foot against the floor, alexia's jaw dropping as angel did exactly that, flopping down onto his stomach as his tail thumped excitedly against the deck.
"buen chico." you clapped happily, throwing your arms around his neck and giggling as he licked all over you, still remaining laying down as he rolled onto his back and you hugged him tightly.
"is he...listening to her?" alba questioned again, both her and alexia watching on gobsmacked as you ran off and clicked your tongue, angel racing after you as the two of you raced about the backyard in circles.
"sĂ, i told you both not to worry so much. it would seem your hermanita is a dog whisperer." eli laughed, resuming her dinner prep as you and angel started a lively game of fetch.
"do you think she knows that is not how fetch works?" alba couldn't help but chuckle watching as you'd throw a toy and angel would chase it, sitting by it happily and waiting for you to run over and throw it again instead of bringing it back to you.
"why does he listen to her? he would not do one thing alba and i asked him to on the walk!" alexia scoffed, eli calling both of them over to help her as they took turn washing hands and watching angel be uncharacteristically well behaved for you.
"i told you nena's, it would seem la pequeña is a dog whisperer."
"fres don't feed him. he has had his dinner!" alba warned later that night watching you grab a piece of steak and try to sneak it to the dog laid down at your feet, giving up with a frown and putting it into your own mouth instead.
"what if he's still hungry?" you questioned once you'd swallowed your mouthful.
"dogs are always hungry but if you overfeed them hija they get sick." eli warned as you seemed to accept that, nodding and launching into a very animated recount once again of what you did with your friend earlier, alexia listening along attentively as alba pretended to.
later that night it would seem your dog whispering ways had their benefits, the chocolate lab who refused to leave you alone dead asleep in the corner of the bathroom as you were struggling to keep your eyes open in the bath.
you jerked back awake as water rushed over your head, eli massaging the conditioner out of your hair and chuckling at your exhaustion, both you and angel having well and truly tired one another out.
the next part of your routine would normally be arguing with whoever was tasked to put you to bed about not wanting to go, forcing them to read you a story or watch something for as long as you could con them into letting you stay up.
but again barely able to keep your eyes open as you were changed into pyjamas you made no move to argue as eli lifted back the covers on your bed and slipped you in, blinking sleepily and exhaling.
the woman stepping out for two seconds to grab you a glass of water she couldn't help but smile as she returned to your room, angel curled up on the end of your bed as you'd wiggled your way out of the covers, head on his body as you lay almost upside down in bed together.
with a quiet chuckle eli grabbed a spare blanket from your wardrobe, laying it over the two of you and kissing your forehead as you stirred but didn't awaken, your mami backing carefully out of the room and closing your door, leaving it open just a crack so angel could get out if needed.
"mami we can't find-" alexia appeared in the hallway, eli putting a finger to her lips and nodding behind her at your door. "he's decided where he is sleeping." the woman smiled in amusement, alexia frowning curiously and pushing your door open a crack, peering in.
"dios mĂo she really is a dog whisperer."
though there were also some downsides to your bond with angel.
"ale. ale. ale. alexia!" the brunette jolted awake at the light slap against her cheek, sitting up so quickly she almost sent you flying off where you were sat on top of her. "pequeña? estås bien?" the midfielder asked groggily, rubbing her eyes.
"angel wants to go for a walk." you notified pointing down to the chocolate lab who sat eagerly on the floor with his lead in his mouth, your sister groaning tiredly and flopping down into bed, jenni stirring beside her but making no move to get up.
"come back in a couple of hours fresa, it is too early." your sister grumbled, covering her face with her arms as you huffed.
"he likes going early! theres birds to chase, its not as hot, theres more dogs around for him to play with, the beach is not busy, the sun is not too bright-" you ticked off the reasonings with your fingers.
"vale, vale, bien!" alexia's hand shot to cover your mouth, knowing full well once you set your mind to something there wasn't much anyone could do to change it.
"go get your shoes." alexia sighed in defeat as you wrenched her hand off and leapt off of her, hitting the floor with a thump and racing off as angel chased after you.
"jenni, levĂĄntate." alexia shook her girlfriend beside her who pushed her hand off. "she asked you to go for a walk amor, not me. but have fun!" jenni smiled, eyes still closed as alexia's jaw hardened, though before she could open her mouth to say anything you beat her to it.
"jenni has to come too!"
though the real downside of your bond with angel, was not understanding why you had to say goodbye once his week with you all was over, your tio due to come and pick him up tomorrow morning before you left for school.
"but why can't he stay? i'm his best friend!" you whined, arms locked tightly around the labradors neck. "because nena, angel belongs to tio danny. do you want to make tio danny sad if we tell him he can't come get angel? he has had him since angel was a puppy!" your mami explained gently as you sighed deeply.
"we will still see angel whenever we see tio danny, maybe we can ask him if he can come and take you to walk angel once a week after school. would you like that?" eli offered as you nodded, pout still permanently etched into your face as you pressed a kiss against angels neck.
"hey pequeña, how about we go to the pet store and you can pick out a special toy for angel to take home with him. that way he always has a reminder of you!" alexia tried next, heart breaking a little at the obvious sadness in your face.
"i think angel would like that hija." eli added on as you nodded in agreement, letting go of the dog and patting him on the head, giggling as he licked you and everyone else cringed, jenni and alexia getting up to take you.
~
"fres i think we have looked at every toy in the store at least five times." alexia sighed, jenni giving her a look where she was crouched down beside you. "i can't pick! can we get more than one?" you asked hopefully, your sister firmly shaking her head as you deflated.
"what about this one? it makes a funny noise!" jenni tried to help, honking the small burger as you shrugged, the girl changing tactics.
"you know chiqui, if you hurry we can get ice cream on the way home before the shop closes." jenni bribed as you perked up, frowning for a moment before grabbing a plush dinosaur and holding it up.
"this one!"
"you couldn't have said that a half hour ago?" alexia mumbled to her girlfriend as they followed after you, jenni pinching her with a grin making the brunette roll her eyes, grabbing out her wallet.
"woah." you exhaled, pressing your face to the glass of the rabbit enclosure, smiling at the little bunnies hopping around inside.
"ale can we-" you turned to your sister after she paid, taking both her and jenni's hands. "no." alexia answered before you could even finish the question.
"what about a-" "no." "or maybe a-" "nope." "but what if i-" "no."
"you didn't even let me finish asking!" you protested unhappily as jenni chuckled. "no pets hermanita." alexia smiled down knowingly at you as you huffed, letting go of her hand but still clinging tightly onto jenni's.
"but i looked after angel! why can't we get a dog?" you whined. "because owning a dog is a lot of responsibility, and you're still a baby." your sister's foot kicked at your behind sending you stumbling forward, jenni quick to help you catch your footing.
"i am not!" you glared up at alexia who grinned. "are too." she teased, hand shooting forward to press against your forehead as you let go of jenni's hand and launched at her.
"oh i am so scared." alexia mocked, easily holding off your swinging fists with her hand against your forehead as you grew tired and gave up with an annoyed grunt, dragging your feet as you walked inbetween the two older girls.
"can we get a dog?" "no." "a cat?" "no." "a bunny?" "no." "a turtle?" "no." "a lizard?" "no." "a bird?" "no." "a frog?" "no." "a chinchilla?" "sĂ!" "really?!" "...no."
"alexia!" you ran out of animals at that stage, deflating and dragging your feet even slower in protest, shaking your head at jenni's offer of a piggyback.
"you can have a pet rock?" your sister offered as you glared up at her. "a rock is not alive." you warned, jenni gasping from your other side. "fresita! that is not nice, you will hurt his feelings." she pouted holding up a rock she'd swiped from the ground as you merely gave her a silent deadpan stare.
"yeah alexia rocks aren't alive! idiota." jenni scoffed, throwing the rock over her shoulder and grabbing you, tossing you up into the air earning herself a giggle before placing you back down as you arrived to the ice cream shop.
"what flavor chiqui? chocolate? mint? rainbow?" jenni pondered sarcastically, both her and alexia already knowing all too well what you wanted.
"no! strawberry, duh." you rolled your eyes as jenni gasped and smacked her palm against her forehead making your sister smile.
"of course, estĂșpida!" she tutted, ordering for the three of you as you smacked away alexia's hand which tugged on your hair, the taller girl darting back as you swung at her time and time again.
"hey, ale!" you protested as she took a bite of your ice cream before handing it to you. "i had to poison test it!" the brunette defended as you scowled unhappily, snatching the cone off of her and stomping out of the shop.
"leave her alone, such a bully!" jenni shook her head, alexia knocking her shoulder into her girlfriends as they followed after you, the three of you taking a different route home.
"what if i find a pet? can i keep it then?" you asked hopefully as you arrived home and walked up the driveway, ice creams long finished as your sister paused and gave you a suspicious look.
"vale pequeña, spread em!" your sister gestured as you sighed but held your arms up and moved your feet apart, jenni watching on in amusement as your sister patted you down to make sure you hadn't snuck home a new friend.
"ew fres!" alexia winced, pulling out a soggy ice cream soaked tissue from your pocket as you shrugged, jenni collecting it from her and running it over to the trash bin. "alright, you're clean." your sister sighed once she was content you didn't have any sort of animal hidden on your person.
"i just want a pet." you pouted, kicking your feet and huffing unhappily, alexia frowning at the sad look on your face and kneeling down to your height.
"i know hermana, but like i said pets are a lot of responsibility." alexia reminded softly as you nodded, turning the pout to her and making her chuckle.
"that is not gonna work this time, we're not getting a dog." she pinched your cheeks and stood as you groaned, waiting for her to unlock the front door as jenni returned.
"how about a fish nena? we could start with getting you a fish?" "you can't walk a fish!"

Sharing the Weight of Fears
Part 1.
You and Alexia navigate a tender moment when you reveal a worrying change in your health.
Angst, Fluff & Comfort.
-
You absentmindedly traced the seams of your Barcelona FemenĂ jersey as you sat in the doctor's waiting room, heart pounding with a mixture of anxiety and embarrassment. It had been weeks since you first noticed the subtle change in your left breast-a small lump that seemed to grow more prominent with each passing day. At first, you brushed it off as nothing, convincing yourself that it was just a minor fluctuation, nothing to worry about. But as time went on, so did the nagging worry at the back of your mind.
You glanced around the room, trying to distract yourself from the apprehension gnawing at your insides. The sterile scent of antiseptic and the soft murmur of hushed conversations did little to ease your nerves. You couldn't shake the feeling of unease, the fear of the unknown looming over you like a dark cloud.
After a thorough examination, the doctor offered a gentle smile and a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "It's always best to be cautious," she said, her voice soothing and calm. I need you to keep an eye on things, check for any changes every day. And if anything seems off, don't hesitate to come back."
You nodded, trying to swallow past the lump you managed to choke out, grateful for the doctor's patience and understanding.
As you stepped out of the doctor's office, the midday sun greeted you with its warm embrace, but the unease in your chest refused to dissipate. You pulled out your phone and sent a quick text to Alexia, wishing her luck in the upcoming match. It was a small gesture, but it felt like the least you could do to show your support, even if you couldn't shake the lingering worry from your mind.
Making your way to Camp Nou, you tried to focus on the excitement of the match ahead, pushing aside the nagging doubts that threatened to cloud your thoughts. The vibrant energy of the stadium buzzed around you as fans filled the stands, their cheers and chants echoing in the air.
Spotting Eli and Alba among the crowd, you made your way over to them, plastering on a smile to hide the lingering unease. Eli's keen eyes immediately noticed something amiss, and she furrowed her brow in concern. "Are you feeling alright, dear?" she asked, her voice filled with maternal worry.
You shook your head, dismissing her concern with a wave of your hand. "I'm fine, just a bit tired," you replied, forcing a smile to your lips. "Didn't have time to put on makeup today, that's alI"
Eli's gaze softened with understanding, though hint of concern lingered in her eyes. "Well, make sure you take care of yourself, okay?" she said, her tone gentle yet firm. "We don't need you passing out on us before the match even starts."
You chuckled weakly, grateful for her concern but wishing desperately to erase the worry lines from her face. "Don't worry, I'll be fine," you reassured her, though the words felt hollow on your tongue. Deep down, the unease still gnawed at you, a silent reminder of the uncertainty that lurked beneath the surface.
The match was a blur of cheers and adrenaline-fueled excitement as you cheered on Barcelona FemenĂ from the stands. The tension mounted with each passing minute until, finally, the moment arrived-Alexia's goal, a burst of triumph that echoed through the stadium as the team secured their victory. You joined in the chorus of cheers and applause, heart swelling with pride for your girlfriend's achievement. After the match, as Alexia made her way over to where you and her family were waiting, Eli's keen eyes immediately honed in on you once again. "Alexia, mija, keep an eye on Y/N,' she said, her tone laced with concern. "They look a bit pale."
You felt a flush of embarrassment creep up your cheeks at Eli's words, grateful for the dim lighting of the stadium to conceal your reaction. Alexia's brow furrowed in concern as she turned her attention to you, her eyes searching yours for any sign of distress.
As you all made your way out of the stadium and towards the car, Alexia's concern for you was palpable. Her worry only intensified as she glanced over at you, her brow furrowed with genuine concern. "Are you feeling alright, mi amor?" she asked softly, her voice filled with a mix of worry and tend erness. "Maybe you should rest when we get home. I don't want you to get sick."
You reached out to gently squeeze her hand, offering her a reassuring smile despite the lingering unease in your chest. "I'm feeling fine, Ale," you assured her, your voice calm and steady. "Just a bit tired from all the excitement, that's all. And promise, take it easy once we get home."
As you arrived home, Alexia's protective instincts kicked into high gear. She ushered you gently inside, her arms wrapped around you in a comforting embrace. "Let's get you settled on the couch," she suggested, her voice soft and soothing. "You can relax while I make us something to eat."
You nodded gratefully, allowing her to guide you to the cozy haven of the living room. Nestled against the cushions, you watched as Alexia moved about the kitchen with practiced ease, the rhythmic clatter of pots and pans a comforting melody in the background.
As you settled into the cozy haven of the living room, a sense of unease settled over you like a heavy fog. Despite your best efforts to push aside your worries, a nagging feeling gnawed at the edges of your mind. Your breasts felt oddly itchy, a discomfort that seemed to intensify with each passing moment.
You tried to dismiss it as nothing more than your imagination running wild, but the memory of your visit to the doctor earlier that morning lingered in the recesses of your mind, casting a shadow of doubt over your thoughts.
Alexia noticed your unease, her keen eyes picking up on the subtle shift in your demeanor. With a gentle touch, she brushed a stray lock of hair from your forehead, her voice soft with concern. "Qué pasa, mi amor?" she asked, her brow furrowing with worry. "Is something bothering you?"
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to articulate the swirling chaos of emotions churning within you. But as you met her gaze, the warmth of her love and understanding enveloped you like a comforting embrace. "It's nothing, Ale," you reassured her, forcing a smile despite the turmoil roiling within. "Just a bit tired, that's all."
She studied you for a moment longer, her gaze filled with a mixture of worry and understanding. With a nod, she leaned in to press a gentle kiss to your forehead, her touch a silent promise of unwavering support.
Later, as you sat together on the couch, the remnants of dinner forgotten as you basked in the warmth of each other's company, Alexia's playful demeanor shifted as she sat behind you. Her hands teased their way up your torso, fingers dancing over the fabric of your Barcelona jersey. "Me encanta verte con mi camiseta del Barcelona, pero también me encanta ver y sentir tus pechos,' she murmured in your ear, her words sending a shiver down your spine.
You couldn't help but smile at her words, the warmth of her affection washing over you like a gentle wave. Hearing her speak in Spanish always had a way of soothing your soul, reminding you of the depth of your connection. Lost in the comfort of her voice, you momentarily forgot about the worry gnawing at your mind. Before you knew it, Alexia's hands had moved to lift your shirt, her touch tender and gentle as she brushed against something unexpected.
She paused, her brow furrowing in confusion as she examined the red patches marring the surface of your left breast. "¿Qué es esto?" she asked softly, her voice tinged with concern as she traced the outline of the irritated skin.
Your heart sank as you met her gaze, the weight of your worries crashing down around you. How could you explain the inexplicable to her, when you barely understood it yourself? But as you looked into her eyes, the love and trust shining in their depths, you knew that you had to confide in her, no matter how difficult it may be.
As Alexia's concerned gaze bore into yours, you took a deep breath, steeling yourself for the difficult conversation ahead. "It's... it's something I noticed a while ago," you began, your voice trembling slightly despite your efforts to remain composed. "I went to the doctor about it, but.. but didn't want to worry you."
Her grip tightened on your hand, a silent gesture of encouragement and support. "What did the doctor say?" she asked softly, her voice filled with concern. You swallowed hard, the lump in your throat making it difficult to find the words. "She.. she said it's probably nothing" you admitted, the weight of your worries lifting slightly as you spoke the words aloud for the first time. "But... but she wants me to keep an eye on it, just in case."
Alexia's brow furrowed with worry as she listened to your explanation, her fingers tracing soothing circles on the back of your hand. "Why didn't you tell me, mi amor?" she asked softly, her voice tinged with hurt. You looked down, feeling the weight of guilt settle in the pit of your stomach. "I didn't want to worry you," you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper. "And I thought... I thought maybe it was nothing, you know? But now..."
Alexia's heart ached as she watched the turmoil playing out across your face, her own emotions mirroring yours. "It's okay to feel that way, mi amor," she said softly, her voice filled with tenderness. "But next time, I want to know. I want to be there for you, to share the weight of your fears and insecurities. You don't have to face them alone."
With a gentle squeeze of your hand, she rose from the couch, her movements fluid and purposeful as she disappeared into the bathroom. Moments later, she returned with a small jar of soothing cream, the faint scent of lavender filling the air as she applied it to the irritated patches on your skin. "There,'' she said softly, her touch gentle and comforting as she smoothed the cream over your skin. "That should help with the itchiness."
You felt a rush of gratitude swell within you at her tender care, the weight of your worries easing slightly under the warmth of her touch. "Thank you, my Ale'' you whispered, your voice choked with emotion.
She smiled, her eyes shining with love and reassurance as she leaned in to press a soft kiss to your forehead. I will help you with your daily checkups," she murmured, her voice filled with determination. "And maybe we can see the doctor again soon, just to be safe."
Her protective instincts kicked into high gear, her unwavering devotion filling you with a sense of warmth and security. Unable to contain the swell of emotion within you, you reached out to pull her close, your lips meeting hers in a passionate embrace. I love you, Alexia," you whispered against her lips, the words a silent promise of love and devotion. And in that moment, surrounded by the warmth of her embrace, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would face them together, hand in hand.
-
My thoughts during and after writing this piece:
Sometimes, a health scare can catch us off guard, leaving us feeling vulnerable and, surprisingly, embarrassed. It's moments like these where the support of someone close can truly shine through. Whether it's a partner, a family member, or a friend, having someone there to share the burden can make all the difference. They remind us that we're not alone, no matter how daunting the situation may seem.
