Honestly, I think that Rzk's haters forget that there's so much more to each and every person that not even the closest to them can fully see/reach. As someone with a set of narcissistic parents, I feel for him deeply, regarding his childhood. I think that Richard is a perfectionist, and he needs maybe more reassurance than others. Which would be easy to understand, at least in my opinion. The thing that strikes me the most, is the care he seems to have for his kids. Not the superficial kind. I've got admiration for how he's managed to survive and navigate his life, without losing his drive and affection towards others. Thank you, love you, may LOTR keep us sane in those trying times 💌💕-elf anon

Experience, environment, family and character shape a person, and early life experiences can be particularly important. I don't want to take the liberty of analysing Richard in any way, yet enough is known about his background to form a tentative picture. While, by his own admission, the first 12 years of his life were probably quite happy, his youth was probably quite gruelling.

And before the not-so-enthusiastic-about-Richard-people are trying to cry about this in my inbox again and denouncing Richard (because I know some of them love doing this 😊), I have already answered two asks about this certain topic. You can find it here.

It may well be that Richard needs recognition/appreciation/proof of affection (maybe also through heartfelt hugs) from time to time to be sure of himself, but I think his self-confidence has also stabilised to a healthy degree with age - but maybe not fully. He also really seems to be quite perfectionistic, working for hours on end to get something right/how he imagine it.

I also notice his attention to his children (although I think all the members of Ramstein, at least from what we see, are very caring parents). According to his own statements, as well as his daughter Khira Li's, he can certainly be a strict father who shows his children limits, but with good intentions (as to give them a sense of discipline and support them to reach their goals). I am also sure that he wants to give his children as much love and stability in life as he can give (which sure wasn't easy for him while he lived abroad) - and maybe more that he himself experienced.

I don't think Richard needs to be defended by us as fans, and he, like all people, is certainly not perfect. And yet, or precisely because of this, you should always take into account the life experiences of a person that make them who they are. And yes, he had a lot to navigate and survive in his life.

So overall: judging never helps. Basically, it just shows that the person passing judgement often has no understanding for people or is suffering themselves.

2. I would pay good money to dream about Richard regularly. So far, I had the pleasure to meet him twice in my dreams, and let me tell you, it did not went as I hoped 🤨 -> First time I dreamed of him it was in a typical 'fan meets idol'-situation. I was so nervous, I suddenly forgot how a phone camera works and couldn't take a proper selfie of dream!Richard and me and it all was very embarassing. -> Second time I dreamed of him, he seriously had the nerve to turn up in an Adam Sandler outfit, literally like this one:

And I know Richard likes to be extra comfy out and about, but this just was a new low 💀 And he was married to a german singer and owned an old (but pretty chic) country house. Hello elf anon 🧝🏼‍♀️ You're like my personal guidance to explore the depth of the Lord of the Rings brainrot, and I honestly start a new hyperfixation since watching the movies again 👀 (I ordered the books which arrived yesterday and I instantly started with the first one 📖)

Oh dear, I cried real tears during this scene when I rewatched the movie earlier this year. Elrond is so sincere, so calmly-devastated (if this makes sense) and yet is so urgent in his quest to make it clear to Aragorn how important it is to gather more men for the mission. Maybe Richard could have it in him to be just as sincere and earnest about things which affect him this much - and yet he might not be as calm as Elrond here I guess 👀 Aragorn reminded me a bit of Schneider in the Sonne MV, just utterly worried and yet determined:

I found a gif of Elrond which excudes Richard-energy to me, maybe the hand movement, his head movement, how he apparently explains something - don't ask me, I don't even know (and I think this robe would look good on Richard):

So we have Richard as Elrond and Schneider as Aragorn in our little silly LotR brainrot:

@swampgiggles once mentioned Till as Tom Bombadil - an important character in the books, eternally connected to nature and the woods and a person over which the ring has no power. Which is quite fitting I think! Now we need some character ideas for the rest (we already discussed Flake as a hobbit here, but not completely sure on this one...) 👀
