Electric Forest 2017 Weekend 2

It’s funny how music finds you. Being at Electric Forest in and of itself, is nothing but music. Be that as it may, I found my way to the Observatory and the moment Her began playing this song I stopped. So did the Forest, so did the world. I sat in that moment, with my eyes closed, holding onto every note. I felt the words in my heart and I had my moment with the Forest. I’ve listened to this song through the hardest times in my life and through the bliss and happiness of the Forest I was brought back to a reality that I didn’t know existed for me yet. In this moment I didn’t care who was near me but my eyes filled with tears. Tears of happiness, sadness, excitement, anxiety, hurt, devastation, profound wonder...etc. It wasn’t shared with anyone but myself. I needed it more than I had ever anticipated. I am holding on to this moment. 

This was my moment.
