Like I know he would, because of course he would. No one messes with baby boy Jiwoo without getting an ass whooping.

Everyone's knee-jerk reaction when his energy surged though. It was awesome. Everyone was so ready to fight.

Also, I am weak for the way Kayden's force surrounded Jiwoo like that. It was such a great contrast to how Jiwoo was being previously restrained and nearly being bent so painfully. Kayden's force just around Jiwoo like a protective bubble. It wasn't even touching him. It just shielded him. And I just 😭😭😭😭

It just came to me after re-reading the chapter. Kayden kept his hands free.

He was ready to fight.

But he kept Jiwoo guarded. Protected. He has him fully shielded with his force.

His attack was so powerful it probably blew every single person in that fucking gym away. (I gotta wait for the next chapter to verify this). Not everyone could be able to shield themselves, and they weren't even in the direct line of fire.

Jiwoo would have been hurt from whatever spill-over from that attack. It cracked the walls. I'm pretty sure it destroyed the building. (I forgot if they put up a force dimension but if they did, and Kayden obliterated that to get to Jiwoo? I've no doubt if that building would still be standing. If not, in a very sorry state.) No way would Jiwoo be left unscathed. He wasn't strong enough to shield himself from that attack, considering the state he was in as well. But Kayden shielded him. He made sure Jiwoo would stay safe.

I cannot reiterate enough how this scene blew me away, okay? I know it's happened a couple of times—from the Professor, to the Klein brothers. But seeing it again, and knowing that from those point onwards, each day Kayden and Jiwoo's relationship has grown and deepen. To know this is Kayden, with an epithet of The Destoryer. And he was ready to destroy whoever hurt Jiwoo. At the same time, that terrifying power? He uses it to protect Jiwoo.

Jiwoo has Kayden's loyalty, trust and affection (dare, I even say love). And vice versa. That just has me losing words to describe how I feel.

In conclusion, I love them.
