The Cullens + Denalis going to the zoo

Carmen and Esme just wanted some quality time with their family... That's all.

Emmett and Garrett are trying to fight the polar bears while Kate and Rosalie are trying to get them to stop.

Edward is literally mumbling, “I'm the most dangerous predator here... I should be locked up with the lions”

Tayna is probably off making out with a zookeeper behind the monkey exhibit.

Esme is taking family pictures next to all the animals.

Carlisle and Eleazar are just trying to enjoy the walk and all the exhibits.

Jasper is off terrifying children by breaking into enclosure and eating a leperd.

Alice is swimming with the penguins.

Irina is throwing rocks at the wolf exhibit and almost got herself thrown out, Eleazar almost did too when he tried to get her to stop.

Emmett jumped into the lions exhibit and was reenacting the lion king.

Tayna bought animal hats for her coven to wear.

Kate shocked a child becuse he was teasing an elephant.

Emmett is pointing at a blond Monkey, “Carlisle it's you!”

Renesmee defently cond Jacob into buying all the cute little animal pulshies.

Eleazar just wanted to see the Aquarium. The girls followed. “Eleazar! I found Nemo!” Kate shouted.

“I found Dory!” Garrett yelled.

Irina is water bording Edward in the Aquarium and trying to feed him to the shark.

Emmett and Jasper got kicked out and the family members who were being decent members of society followed.

Other than that Carlisle called it a successful day.

Okay but MC noticing her tooth is aching. Af. Like, it's throbbing, yall. The poor thing.

Cut to Carmen and Tanya taking their charge to the dentist (any attempts to get the job done themselves were immediately turned down by MC because thanks, but no fucking thanks). So, the tooth is taken care of-

The dentist, during the whole procedure:

-and all is (somewhat) well again.

Cut to the Denali home where our two mother hens are escorting a rather delirious MC inside. Girl is still high on those painkillers, and very...talkative.

To the utmost amusement of everyone else.

(Even Irina cracks a smile. Almost non-existent, but it's there.)

MC: "Heyyyy, guysss. Guess whattt-"

Kate, who has been waiting for this exact moment all day: "Whattt?"

MC: "The baddest bitches are BACK-"

Carmen & Tanya: *fond eye-rolling*

Carmen & Tanya: *scandalized spluttering at the realization*

Kate: *loses her shit*

Kate: *stops her by catching her wrist...most tenderly* (girl's learned from her mistakes and that's beautiful)

All Denalis except Kate: *thinking about all the times Kate did smt stupid and should indeed be ashamed of herself*

Kate: *thinking about all the times she did smt her family considers stupid and couldn't be more proud of herself*

Kate: "Gotta be more specific than that, snowflake."

MC, without missing a beat: "It's a CRIME."

Carmen, trying to calm her baby: "What is, mi amor?"

MC: *slinks even closer to Kate*

Kate: *no idea where this is going but is ALL for it*

Tanya: *starts seething cause that's a bit too close for her liking-*

MC: *has come to stand very close indeed, noses almost touching*

Carmen: *holds Tanya back by her sweater*

MC, eyes narrowed: "The crime?"

Kate, grinning: "I´m all ears."

Eleazar, in awe of the delirious human: "Fascinating..."

Irina, already back to reading her book: "How charming..."

Tanya, still concerned: "Doll...are you al-"

MC: "WAIT-"

MC: *whips around and right into Tanya, who catches her effortlessly ofc*

MC: "Where did you come from?!"

Tanya: "...I-"

MC: "...Oh, wooow-"

MC: *proceeds to trace Tanya´s face with her pointer finger*

Tanya: "..."

MC: "Smooth..."

Tanya: "...🫠"

Kate, not at all amused the attention is no longer on her: "...About that crime-"

MC: *whips back around and right into Kate, who catches her with great pleasure*

MC: "You should be ashamed-"

Kate, starting to get impatient: "Yeah, yeah...I got that. Can we fast forward?"

Tanya, not at all liking how empty her arms are all of a sudden: "Katrina-"

MC, bulldozes right over her: "You should be ashamed for being so...so-"

All Denalis, except Irina: 👀

...Irina, but way less obvious: 👀

Kate: "So...?"

MC: 😠...😐...🥴

Carmen: "Oh dear..."

Kate, leaning even closer, eyes darting down: "The worst-"

Tanya: *about to explode-*

Carmen, finally deciding to do something before all hell breaks loose: "Alright, enough you two."

Carmen: *proceeds to carefully pry MC out of Kate´s arms*

Kate: *starts to protest-*

Carmen: *The Look*

Kate: *...wisely shuts her mouth again*

Carmen, cooing as her attention shifts to MC: "Come now, love. Let´s get you upstairs."

MC: *complies without putting up a fight cause she´s about to fall asleep right then and there*

Carmen: *notices and cuts things short by lifting her like one would a toddler (hand cradling the back of her head and all) before making her way upstars*

...Not before throwing the two menaces one last look though.

The Look: 'Behave.'

The room falls silent then.

For all of two seconds, before-

Sigh.

Carmen will not be pleased.

...Especially when she learns that one of her antique vases has met an untimely demise.

Ooh, excellent question, let's get to it.

Afton

Afton never gets hired on because Chelsea is either dead or doesn't exist. Aro says "lol no" and Afton is on his merry way.

Demetri

Demetri is a "maybe". Amun claims that Demetri was lured away because of Chelsea, however, I've always been dubious that Chelsea is solely the cause of his departure.

He's listed here because people will argue with me and it is a possibility

Eleazar

Getting rid of Eleazar may have become even harder. He still might very well leave because of Carmen but it's a possibility that even that isn't enough without Chelsea greasing the wheels behind the scenes.

Heidi

Heidi is another "maybe". She was recruited having been spared at the execution of her coven for her talents. Perhaps, had Chelsea not been there, she would have chosen death. That said, the choice was "death or Volturi" and Chelsea did choose "Volturi" in canon so I'm inclined to believe she stays as well.

She's listed because people will argue with me and it is a possibility.

Marcus

Aro was terrified Marcus would try to kill himself and this was what led him to finding Chelsea in the first place. Without her, Marcus could very well kill himself. However, that said, Marcus didn't in however long it took to find Chelsea and there's always Corin.

Marcus may just find himself getting stoned and dragged out whenever he needs to stare at someone.

Alice I imagine has resentment to Renesme because she blocks her visions. Hence the to combat part. Jasper's gift is emotionally based..SO I was thinking Alice's feelings would also become his cause he feels everything...

First of all, I am shocked in the best way that someone is asking a Twilight question like this to me as if I know anything. I'll try my best.

For the sake of this ask, lets assume Alice inherited Bella's horrendous taste in names and named her child Greige.

As of canon, Jasper can already sense and manipulate Alice's emotions, including her frustration at Renesmee blocking her abilities. If her and Jasper's child is a hybrid, they would also block visions by default.

But let's say, that Greige doesn't block Alice, adopting this as part of their gift, similar to how Renesmee isn't blocked by Bella. This is if we're going off of the theory from @therealvinelle and @thecarnivorousmuffinmeta that hybrids gifts are very powerful and versatile, and focused on helping them survive. This would make Greige significantly less annoying to their mother than Renesmee, especially if Alice also gets to dress them up in adorable outfits and hyper control their life to an even greater extent than she controls Bella.

I do think Greige would have some skills of emotional manipulation, similar to how Renesmee seems to enthrall others and make them love her. But in terms of combining Alice and Jasper's gifts, the only thing I can think of is sensing the emotional outcome of decisions.

So like, if it's going to rain and Greige doesn't put on a coat, they can't see themselves getting rained on, but they can sense the annoyance and discomfort they would feel. If Carlisle decides to kiss Aro in front of everyone, Greige can't see the horrified expressions of the Cullens and everyone arguing about it, but they can sense the horror, disgust, jealousy, etc that the Cullens would feel, as well as the happiness and love that Carlisle and Aro would feel. Maybe not as useful as Alice's visions, but still helpful in a pinch.

- Would have to teach you to drink from animals right away, seeing that you would have no control being a teenage newborn. They would be worried as you were almost shy of a child.

"Here, let's go, you need to feed." Eleazar said, getting to your level, looking into your eyes. You nodded, getting up from leaning on the counter. Your throat burned in pain as he gently guided them outside into the cold, not yet snowy forest, with Tanya, Kate, Irina, and Carmen following behind.

Your feet crunched on the dirt ground, you heard everything—the trees moving, the dirt being picked up by the wind. You could smell everything from animal for miles for you humans in the next city living their lives, "Now focus on what you need to do, take control" His words lingered in your mind as you chose your prey.

A deer was moving miles from you, drinking water. Hearing the splashing of the water, you ran, wanting to get it at its unknowing . Speeding through the forest, you tread lightly, not wanting it to know anything is coming for it. Eleazar and the others were close behind, assessing whether they needed to intervene if you didn't do what was required. Finally, you had it in your sights, your arms wrapped around it, making it scream as you fed.

It had been one moment of weakness, and her sister made it seem like she had cursed them or something. And Carmen— …She deflated at Carmen´s expression. That disappointment was even worse.

The thing about Marcus, and Twilight in general actually for Pick Any Character, is that in those timelines... they might already be Can't Win. In either he's pulled himself out of depression and in the latter case had to horribly kill off Edward himself and become a man that Didyme would have hated and who makes Aro cry. In the former, or either actually, if Bella happens to die again, Marcus might very well return to his previous state.

As for Eleazar, he got kicked out of his cool important club without realizing it, and is convincing everyone he's still very cool and important and cares so much about all the people. He's living Can't Win, he just doesn't know it.
