my mom works as a community nurse, and always puts 110% into this job she loves. she is the kindest and most loving person i’ve ever seen. 

last week she broke her foot, and so she cannot work for a number of weeks. 

today, her colleagues came over and delivered her a basic care package with bread, fruit, snacks, milk, wine, flowers and more to make her feel better, and to help her out. 

to me, this is absolute proof that what you put into the world comes right back to you. i’ve never seen her be unkind to anyone, without profusely apologizing to me afterward, and she is truly a selfless woman, and in return, the people around her are helping her out and checking in on her when she is struggling. 

there is never a need to be unkind, as i have learned from this amazing woman, and the universe will always bring you exactly what you need when you need it. her faith inspires me daily. god is good.

new hair? 

i’ve been excited to cut my hair off for a long time, and today i finally did, and it has basically halved in length. i’m very excited to tie it back with pastel scrunchies, and i felt it was the perfect look to turn into a picsart edit lmao. 

life’s been busy recently, i’ve traveled across England by myself on the train, and ive been up and down from london a couple of times as well. it feels as if my whole life is taking place on public transport. as well as using the account more, i’ve started using my instagram, @eleanoriguess, more and more posting random pictures.

school starts again in a couple weeks now and i’m going into year 13 (senior year) so i’m very nervous. last night i stayed up for hours writing and tidying my room, finding spaces for folders and journals etc. it feels like today is a fresh start.
